Leighton Meester was spotted on the set of “Gossip Girl” yesterday between takes wearing her trademark flip flops with a stunning Luisa Beccaria Fall 2009 dress.

I have said on many occasions that Luisa Beccaria is a hugely underrated designer, but we have recently she her work featured on Eva Mendes for Marie Claire UK and Lauren Conrad on the Conan O’Brien Show so hopefully the buzz is starting to gather pace.

Leighton’s dress was typically Beccaria – romantic.

The gunmetal grey dress was worn with a beaded necklace, a black belt and flip flops.

I don’t know about you, but I prefer how the dark grey suede runway belt work better the dress. The black belt doesn’t blend as well.

Leighton was also spotted – obviously out of character – wearing shorts, a black top and cardigan, whilst wearing black Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony multi buckle wedge booties and carrying a Nina Ricci “Ondine” bag.

Leighton now has two of these Nina Ricci bags.  This cream bag and a black clutch she carried to the Teen Choice Awards.  Lucky girl.

Leighton Meester’s avant-garde Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 psychedelic paisley print dress, which she wore to the ‘Costume Institute Gala’ had people split 50/50.

50% loved her bold unexpected choice.

50% disliked the look.

I was in the latter group, because I wasn’t keen on the matching leggings with this look.

Fan Bingbing wore the same dress last month to the grand opening of the Louis Vuitton flagship store in Shenzhen, China.

She proved to me that the dress works better without the leggings off the runway, and for that reason she wins for me. Plus I loved her hair and the black patent belt she wore with the dress.

Leighton Meester was snapped the set of “Gossip Girl” this week which was filmed inside the Botanic Garden in Brooklyn, New York.

We’ve not fallen in love the Olivia Palmero hairstyle she has been sporting in other candids, but here she returns to her free-flowing wavy locks.

Looking every inch the Park Avenue princess – minus her now trademark flip flops between takes – Leighton wore an ombre Red Valentino Fall 2009 3/4 length dress with a floral appliqué detail decorating the bodice and skirt.

This look is more like the Blair we know and love.

Blake Lively was also on set looking cute in navy shorts and a white blouse.

Her look was complete carrying a Donna Karan Eldridge slouchy hobo bag and Christian Louboutin Lillian buckle pumps.

Her bag decorated with a  hanging chain, converts from tote to bag with side and bottom snap details.  The straps can be pulled through to create messenger style.

It’s available to purchase from Saks.com & Browns Fashion.

I was not surprised you picked Queen Bee aka Leighton Meester as your Best Dressed this week. But I was surprised by how much she won the poll by.

It was a landslide victory. You guys really loved her Louis Vuitton striped dress with red Brian Atwood heels.

I don’t think anyone has ever won my such a large margin.

I picked Diane Kruger wearing her stunning Atelier Versace dress.

What I loved about this dress is that it’s something we have never seen before.

No stripes, No ruffles, No floral prints…it’s totally unique.  Made completely from coloured crystals.

This Atelier Versace Fall 2009 preview has left me hungry for more, and wondering how Diane was able to sit in this dress.

Nina Ricci is known for it’s clothes – and heels after the Fall 2009 collection – but they also make stunning bags.

The Nina Ricci “Ondine” bag collection could be the next line of ‘It’ bags, as many celebs have been seen toting the bags around in recent weeks.

Whilst we were all dazzled by Leighton Meester’s Louis Vuitton dress and red Brian Atwood shoes at the Teen Choice Awards, we didn’t notice her Nina Ricci black python “Ondine” clutch.

Uma Thurman was spotted in Paris shopping with her fiancé Arpad Busson carrying a Nina Ricci bag, and of course RiRi started the celebrity love of this collection carrying the Nina Ricci Pony Bag.

The “Ondine” collection includes 4 models: The Tote, the Hobo, the Shoulder Bag and the Clutch.

All of which are available in a several fabrics (dyed lamb, pony, alligator and calf) and colours (black, lilac, grape, grey, blueberry and bordeaux), but each bag has a distinctive horseshoe-shaped ribbon detail.

Barney’s currently have 6 styles online in black in various sizes, but you can view the full collection at NinaRicci.com.

Within a month Victoria Beckham’s ‘Carmontelle’ cashmere-blend dress has been worn on 3 different shoots.

I was surprised Leighton Meester was the first to wear a Victoria Beckham Fall 2009 dress in claret red, on the set of “Gossip Girl” last month before Victoria.

Her dress was totally Blair-ified with pearls and a trademark headband.

Victoria picked this same dress in grey to wear on the shoot of her ad campaign, which is impressive considering bigger designers like Christian Dior will not shoot a Fall 2009 ad campaign.

This week Elle Macpherson looked younger than her 46 years wearing the same dress in grey on set of “The Beautiful Life”.

It seems the model/actress has studied VB closely getting both the look and the pout right.

For me no one can out do VB in her own threads.

The collection is not only made by her, but made for her so she wins for me, with Elle a very close second.

The Net-A-Porter US site is the only place you can currently buy this stunning dress online for $3,145.
