Kim Kardashian In Roberto Cavalli – 2015 Met Gala

"China: Through The Looking Glass" Costume Institute Benefit Gala - Arrivals

Kim Kardashian was also at the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4).

Her backless Roberto Cavalli white gown was designed by Peter Dundas in his first dress for Cavalli since returning to the fashion house.

Drama was this dress’s middle name what with its body-con allure and intricate lacy beading that cascaded into a mile-long train of wispy feathers.

Sheer seems to be one of Kim’s favourite looks, so I’m not surprised by the provocative, see-through quality of this confection. But it doesn’t put me off of simply appreciating the showy grandeur of the look on a night that merits all-or-nothing style.

Kim Kardashian In Narciso Rodriguez – Variety’s Power of Women New York

Kim Kardashian In Narciso Rodriguez - Variety’s Power of Women New York

Kim Kardashian West attended Variety’s Power of Women New York at Cipriani 42nd Street, on Friday (April 24) in New York City.

We often find the reality star lacking in taste despite the big labels, but she is currently on something of a roll.

I found myself totally enamoured by her Time 100 gala look, and here again I find her Narciso Rodriguez Fall 2015 ivory look having a positive effect.

I do have one critique however, and that is that her nude bra would’ve been less visible had she opted for a colour closer to her skin colour.

Styled with a custom Olympia Le-Tan ‘Mr & Mrs West: A Love Story’ clutch, I would most definitely give this an A for effort.

Are you feeling as generous?

Get The Look: Kim Kardashian’s Time 100 Gala Radiant Look

2015 Time 100 GalaCelebrity hairstylist Michael Silva and celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic worked with Kim Kardashian for the 2015 Time 100 Gala on Wednesday (April 21).

Hairstylist Michael Silva

Sharing his beauty inspiration, Michael said, “We decided on a sleek pony for a chic look. We wanted to allow the neckline of the dress to show and also thought a pony would complement the volume of the skirt.”

Here’s how to get the look.

Michael first prepped Kim’s wet hair using Shu Uemura Ample Angora Mousse all over. He then added some Kerastase Touche Final Serum on ends and throughout.

Blow drying her hair section by section before he flat ironed it, he then created a centre part and secured it into a low ponytail.”

Makeup Artist Mario Dedivanovic

For Kim’s makeup Mario went for a bold brow and classic smokey eye, but added some gold shadow along the lower lash line to soften the look. He mixed the two shades from the NARS Dual Intensity Blush in Jubilation and applied along the lower lash line with a wet brush to intensify the gold a bit. He filled her brows using Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Medium Brown and set them with the Clear Brow Gel, also by Anastasia Beverly Hills.

Mario then curled Kim’s lashes and applied Ardell Individual Lashes in Medium. He finished the eyes with a couple of coats of L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black.

To add glow to her cheeks, he used Tom Ford Blush in Love Lust along the apples of the cheeks and to highlight he used Charlotte Tilbury Film Star Bronze and Glow along the cheek bones, bridge of the nose and cupid’s bow.

For the lips, he applied Dainty Lip Gloss by Anastasia Beverly Hills.

To finish the look and to give the skin a healthy glow, he sprayed Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist over the makeup.

Kim Kardashian In Sophie Theallet – 2015 Time 100 Gala

Kim Kardashian In Sophie Theallet - 2015 Time 100 Gala

Kim Kardashian attended the 2015 Time 100 Gala celebrating the 100 Most Influential People In The World, at Jazz at Lincoln Center, on Wednesday (April 21) in New York City.

I was shocked by the reality star in this Sophie Theallet black eyelet Spring 2015 gown, rendered with gold lame and French lace detailing, for two reasons.

One: She wasn’t wearing those ill-flattering Balmain creations she has been consistently wearing since becoming besties with the designer.

Two: I found myself really loving the look.

Dare I say she was looking quite elegant, gracefully honouring the black-tie event which was honouring her.

Louis Vuitton Fall 2015 Front Row

Louis Vuitton Fall 2015 Front Row
The front row of the Louis Vuitton Fall 2015 show certainly faced no shortage of the usual LV-outfitted stars who all made Nicolas Ghesquière’s runway a must-attend during Paris Fashion Week in Paris, France.

Jennifer Connelly: Continuing to show off a new, softer side with her Louis Vuitton looks, the actress wore a feminine, printed velvet frock with a relaxed silhouette, cinched in for shaping by a skinny, brown leather belt. Gilded, gold-embellished shoes injected some of that more familiar edge to this ensemble, and I loved the pop of her berry lip for added oomph.

Fan Bingbing: Going for tough-luxe appeal, the Asian star teamed a gold-lined, black leather moto jacket with a sheer, white sweater and front-slit skirt. A range of accessories completed the look with a bit of ’80s-inspired excess, including statement earrings, round sunnies, rows of rings and a hand bracelet, a signature LV monogram shoulder bag, and platform cutout sandals—with blue nail polish, no less. She nailed an urban, street-style sensibility here.

Selena Gomez
: Playing with patterns, Selena took a sophisticated turn in this mixed print, prairie dress with a black accent belt. She completed the prim frock with a pair of black booties and a couldn’t-miss-it yellow handbag, which I actually loved as the youthful exclamation point to this pretty look.

Balmain Fall 2015 Show & After Dinner Party

Balmain Front Row

Balmain presented their Fall 2015 collection during Paris Fashion Week on Thursday (March 5).

Kim Kardashian: Not quite content with the attention she currently receives, the reality TV star used this occasion to showcase a new platinum-blonde hairdo (which I’m certain is a wig) while wearing an all-black look from the Pre-Fall 2015 collection.

Jared Leto: It seems like Jared had the same idea as he also used this show to showcase not only his blonde hair but also his shorter style. His front-row look was a tad confusing with its part-military, part-schoolboy, part-snow-bunny mash-up. What used to be quirky has started to become comical.

Emily Ratajkowski: Going for style over theatrics, the ‘Gone Girl’ actress wore a heavily beaded ivory and black frock from the Resort 2015 collection, which was sexy without being revealing. It looks like she’s finally found a happy medium.

Rita Ora & Kim Kardashian In Atsuko Kudo – Mert & Marcus House of Love Party for Madonna

Rita Ora & Kim Kardashian In Atsuko Kudo - Mert & Marcus House of Love Party for Madonna

Rita Ora attended the Mert & Marcus House of Love party for Madonna held at Annabel’s on Thursday (February 26) in London, England.

Going from sultry in Zuhair Murad Couture at the BRIT Awards, on this occasion she wore a skin-tight pink latex dress from Atsuko Kudo.

Sadly for her, Kim Kardashian had the same idea, wearing a high-neck version of the same dress, which she styled with PVC strap sandals and a fur stole.

Who wore it better? Neither, I would say. This constraining fetish-wear garment does not look especially breathable or comfortable and perhaps should be confined to a boudoir rather than the red carpet.
