Best Dressed Of The Week – Kerry Washington In Oscar de la Renta, Eddie Redmayne In Topman and Josh Duhamel In Ralph Lauren

We agreed that Kerry Washington in her divine Oscar de la Renta gown was the best when it came to womenswear, but our picks for men differed.

You loved the sleek inexpensive Topman suit worn by Eddie Redmayne, while I was busy drooling over Josh Duhamel in Ralph Lauren.

Partly because of the colour, but the fact that he is so damn handsome also factored in my decision-making process.

Kerry Washington In Oscar de la Renta – 2013 NAACP Image Awards

The belle of the ball at the 2013 NAACP Image Awards on Friday evening was most definitely Kerry Washington.

Not only did the ‘Scandal’ actress look breath-taking wearing an Oscar de la Renta Spring 2013 gown, but she also picked up three awards including, ‘Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture’ for ‘Django Unchained’, ‘Best Actress in a Drama Series’ for ‘Scandal’ which was also honoured with the ‘Best Drama Series’ Award.

Kerry’s off-the-shoulder pink floral guipure and aqua ornamental cloque gown featured a rise-and-fall hemline which showed off her nude Christian Louboutin pumps.

A pink Kotur clutch, brooch and earrings by the same designer plus a Neil Lane ring accessorized her look with a half-up, half-down hairstyle providing the finishing touches.

Now I have a dilemma.

Which is my favourite Kerry Washington look so far this year? The Giles gown or this Oscar de la Renta gown.

I may need to toss a coin to decide this one.

Kerry Washington’s Three Looks In One Day

Yesterday was another busy day of non-stop TV shows where Kerry Washington promoted her latest movie, ‘Django Unchained’, which I’m going to see tonight, and her hit TV show, ‘Scandal’, which I’m mildly obsessed with.

Kerry’s day started as she made her way to the ABC studios in New York City, where she wore a grey tweed Fendi dress with white panels, which she styled with Christian Louboutin ‘Pivichic’ pumps, a Reed Krakoff beige clutch and a Max Mara Sargano camel coat thrown over her arm.

Sporting a more casual look, the actress donned a Wes Gordon white short-sleeved sweater with a leather A.L.C. skirt, tights and Christian Louboutin ‘Ettora’ tri-colour lace-ups with a Perspex heel for her interview with Lara Spencer on Good Morning America.

While leaving the GMA studios, Kerry’s final look was a colourful L’Agence shift dress, which she styled with her Reed Krakoff clutch and a brightly coloured pair of Louboutin pumps.

I’m crushing on the Fendi look. The look is so effortless and chic, plus the styling is impeccable. Which was your favourite?

Kerry Washington In Rodarte – 2013 SAG Awards

Kerry Washington proved yet again that she knows how to rock the red carpet, as she did Sunday at the 2013 SAG Awards, held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California.

The ‘Scandal’ actress, who continues to show that she looks good in everything from bright and patterned to soft and simple, wore a stunning gown from Rodarte.

The white gown was the perfect combination of soft and structured. The bodice, embellished with just the right amount of bling, complimented the soft gown complete with silver-lace detailing around the hemline and back of the dress.

She accessorized with Fred Leighton jewels, white python Christian Louboutin ‘Batignolles’ pumps and a metallic snake skin Judith Leiber clutch while her beauty choices were kept simple with a subtle smokey eye and sleek, pulled back hair.

Kerry Washington In Marchesa – 2013 Producers Guild Awards

Kerry Washington also wore black to the 2013 Producers Guild Awards, which was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California last night.

The ‘Django Unchained’ star wore a Marchesa strapless dress.

I love the pops of pink via her Marchesa clutch and pink lips which styled her lace, velvet and tulle accented sweetheart neckline frock.

The actress, who serves as my style inspiration for the Oscars, added Louis Vuitton black patent leather pumps and Fred Leighton jewels to her look.

Wavy, highlight tresses provided the finishing touch.

Kerry Washington In Miu Miu – 2013 Golden Globe Awards

Still glowing from her magnificent promo tour for ‘Django Unchained’, Kerry Washington took to the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the 2013 Golden Globe Awards last night.

Decked out in a rhinestone-embellished semi-sheer nude Miu Miu dress, she proved that she’s very much on a roll.

Opting not to go the frothy princess route, her modern look with a sleek silhouette was styled with nude Prada pointy pumps, a satin Prada clutch and a diamond Fred Leighton bracelet.

Flawless makeup and a shoulder-length lightly highlighted ‘do completed her look.
