Jessica Simpson In Carolina Herrera - 100th Annual White House Correspondents' Association Dinner

Jessica Simpson attended the 100th Annual White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner held at the Washington Hilton on Saturday (May 3) in Washington, DC.

The singer wore a black-and-white rose-print Carolina Herrera gown featuring a bustier-style bodice and a skirt which is fitted through the hips before and accented with delicate chiffon ruffles which pool on the floor, fanning out to make a train.

Both the dress and styling is great, but the awkward pose is ruining this look for me.

I also think this look would’ve benefited from a high updo.

Jessica Simpson In Carolina Herrera - 27th Annual Footwear News Achievement AwardsJessica Simpson joined Crystal Renn at the 27th Annual Footwear News Achievement Awards, hosted yesterday at the IAC Building in New York City.

The entertainer selected a black-and-red Carolina Herrera rose jacquard cocktail dress that may have been a smidge too small through the cleavage-confining bodice.

Thee frock itself was fine enough, but factor in the compromised silhouette, along with the black platform pumps, a long mane of icy-blonde locks and a significant smokey eye, the look lost some of its appeal to me.

Were you let down by the styling, as well?

It’s been a very long while since I last featured Jessica Simpson on the red carpet, but she made a return at the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Party in LA last night.

Jessica opted for an Etro printed dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

The printed mini dress was worn without the pants which were presented on the runway to create a cute sassy look.

Jessica added a gold clutch and Giuseppe Zanotti La Rocque wedges to complete her look.

Surprisingly I don’t hate it; for once she doesn’t appear to have been wedged into the dress.

I do however wish she’d worn her hair up or stood tall because she looks like she doesn’t have a neck.

Jessica Simpson was the surprise guest judge at the Project Runway Finale fashion show, which was held at the Lincoln Center during New York Fashion Week this morning.

I have no problem with Jessica’s new body, but I do have a problem with the way she dresses herself.

She opted for a Michael Kors Fall 2010 dress paired with grey suede YSL Trib Two pumps.

Her sparkling beaded long sleeved dress with cut-out arms detail and ruched banded cuffs, is the most unflattering dress she could’ve picked from this collection.

The elasticated waist makes her appear wider than she is. Had she opted for a belt like the model she would’ve achieved a narrower silhouette.

Shortening the dress was the only good decision she made here.

Oh to be in the mind of Michael Kors when she saw this look.

Finally, a Jessica Simpson look I can honestly say I love.

Last night the singer attended the “Alliance For Women In Media’s 2010 Gracie Awards” in LA wearing a Gustavo Cadile Fall 2010 gown.

I have to say minus the Ken Paves hatchet job she looks stunning.

I’m been waiting for this moment for a long time because I knew she had it in her.

Her navy and gold lurex dotted chiffon one shoulder draped gown was a perfect fit, it drapes beautifully and it flatters her figure.

For once I don’t even notice her boobs which are usually squashed in her dresses.

From the way she was showing off the gown on the red carpet, it was clear she knew she looked amazing.
