Jessica Chastain In Christian Dior Couture – ‘The Meyerowitz Stories’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Jessica Chastain electrified the Cannes Film Festival red carpet at the screening of ‘The Meyerowitz Stories’ on Sunday (May 21).

She wore a coatdress from the Christian Dior Spring 2017 Couture collection, except it was rendered in a shockingly vibrant green hue that, of course, was a captivating complement to her red locks.

I’m quite glad she opted to wear the look in such a vivid shade, as otherwise I fear the black rendition of the elegantly simple dress would have been far too forgettable for the likes of Cannes.

Giuseppe Zanotti metallic heels and a sparkling ring completed the ensemble.

Jessica Chastain In Givenchy Couture – ‘Okja’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Taking her place on the red carpet for the ‘Okja’ Cannes Film Festival premiere this evening (May 19), Jessica Chastain looked resplendent.

Some of you felt a little let down by her opening ceremony look, but the actress has always fared well in Givenchy over the years at this event, and this lilac fringe Couture confection was no different.

If there was one look I wished to see in motion, this would be it.

From the glistening embellishments to the swaying fringe with a little Marilyn wiggle, this is would be a joy to watch.

Jessica Chastain In Alexander McQueen – ‘Ismael’s Ghosts’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Also gracing the red carpet of the 2017 Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony and premiere of ‘Ismael’s Ghosts on Wednesday (May 17), was Jessica Chastain.

The star wore a stunningly detailed Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2017 gown that held its own surrounded by a sea of fashionable moments.

While the intricately embroidered velvet bodice is certainly the talking point of this piece, what I can’t seem to tear my eyes from is the bottom of the bodice–the lines are so unique and so perfectly placed on Jessica’s legs, it is simply masterful design and tailoring work.

The actress opted for a slightly less sheer skirt than the lookbook version, which was tasteful and smart for the occasion, and every single carefully thought out styling element from her dazzling diamond and ruby collar necklace to her ruby lips and manicure are divine.

Jessica Chastain In Roksanda – 2017 Cannes Film Festival Jury Photocall

Jessica Chastain was in great spirits for the jury photocall for the 70th Cannes Film Festival this afternoon (May 17).

My first reaction to seeing the actress in this Roksanda ‘Florent’ crepe jumpsuit was “nooo”, only because Kerry Washington wore this same jumpsuit back in March, and I was hoping to be blown away by something new.

Once I got over this being a re-run I immediately fell in love.

The sleek silhouette and colour really suit Jessica’s effortless style and I adore how the voluminous bows add a playful feel that she balanced with slick accessories including Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.

Nice Airport Arrivals

Nice airport has been a hotbed of activity in the lead up to Cannes Film Festival.

Elle Fanning: Comfortable and chic in Miu Miu, I love how the cat-eye shades amp up the retro vibe of her look.

Eva Herzigova: We’ve missed seeing Roberto Cavalli at Cannes the past few years, so I’m hopeful Eva’s ’70s inspired Resort 2017 look signals a return by the Italian brand to this grand stage. Cannes without Cavalli is like having a high powered car and never taking it for a spin.

Marion Cotillard: Yes, Marion is bound to wear Dior during this festival, but she usually saves that for the premieres, so I’m looking forward to seeing who she wears to photocalls and the Chopard party. She arrived looking very casual in a plaid R13 Tie-front plaid flannel shirt dress.

Get the Look: Jessica Chastain’s Whimsical Met Gala Braid

Celebrity hair stylist for Moroccanoil Renato Campora created a soft, whimsical braid on Jessica Chastain for the 2017 Met Gala that accentuated the actress’ romantic pale yellow, off the shoulder Prada Gown.

To achieve a hairstyle as regal as the frock, Renato used a dime-sized amount of Moroccanoil Treatment to Jessica’s mane to provide a base for the style, followed by Moroccanoil Volumizing Mousse to layer on to the foundation and create volume.

Renato then used the Moroccanoil 35 MM Boar Bristle Round Brush to blow dry the actress’ tresses straight. One the hair was dry, he used a 1.5 inch curling iron to create texture, natural movement and add radiant shine.

He then created a loose braid at the nape of the neck and used a bobby pin to tuck the tail end of the braid underneath in order to create more volume.

To set the look, the Renato used Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong to give the style long-lasting hold and shine.
