Although I did not agree that Anne Hathaway was the Best Dressed star on the red carpet last week, I do agree that her style choices get better, less safe and less predictable.

The stunning actress wore this magnificent navy Marc Jacobs Spring 2009 short sleeved metallic red striped suit. She wore the dress with a metallic sash tied at the waist, and two-tone platform shoes.

She did not wear this suit as it appeared on the runway, so she completely made it her own.

Kerry Washington obviously had no time to go sight-seeing in Paris, were she attended the Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 collection, because within 48 hours she was already back in New York to attend this event.

The actress wore a blush pink and nude Calvin Klein Resort 2009 ribbed bandeau dress, with two-tone platform heels.

For me she was one of the best dressed at this event. STUNNING.

Nicole Kidman wore a forest green Prada Resort 2009 dress.

The satin dress was embellished with green jewels on the breast-bone and waist.

She completed her look bizarrely with pink heels, but it is better than safe black.

I absolutely adore Jenny McCarthy wearing this Gucci Fall 2008 dress.

The black drop waist dress with a velvet skirt and gold embellishments, is very much on the folkloric trend, with fringed shoulders and sash on the waist.

Jenny gets better and better on the red carpet.

Eva Mendes gives us her trademark pout wearing a sequined tunic dress with striped panels.

Jennifer Lopez kinda hits a bum note for me in this Dolce & Gabbana dress. Her sheer dress is so transparent that it reveals her bodysuit/spanx underneath.

Even her hair is a little off.

Kate Beckinsale is one of those actresses you don’t hear much about, but she always makes an great impact on the red carpet.

She does so here by wearing a stunning one-shoulder Derek Lam gown, which she make all the more elegant with her updo, Jimmy Choo clutch and gold earrings.

Model and current Calvin Klein poster boy, Gabriel Aubry escorted to gorgeous baby mama, Halle Berry to this event.

He look gorgeous, but then he always does. She looks gorgeous, but I am not at all crazy about her Roberto Cavalli ensemble.

It is not as classic, nor chic, as I have come to expect from Halle. To me this is something Kim Kardashian would wear.

Sorry Halle.

Only Angie Harmon can make a grey Dolce & Gabbana dress look this beautiful.

Katharine McPhee is gorgeous in a green Karen Zambos Baretta silk dress.

Isla Fisher shows off her post baby figure in this black cocktail dress.

Could Jane Fonda be more lovely?

Courteney Cox jazzed up her satin cobalt blue Alessandro Dell’Acqua dress, with an array of statement necklaces.

I adore the colour on her.

Nicollette Sheridan is really making an effort lately, and I think she look amazing in this LBD.

The former fiancée of Michael Bolton, has improved since the split, so I may just cautiously downgrade her on my Fashion Failures list.

Sigourney Weaver often struggles on the red carpet. She took a night of wearing her favoured designer, Prada to wear this green Bottega Veneta Fall 2008 dress, with an asymtetric draped neckline.

Simply stunning, Sheryl Crow.

Madonna was the first to wear this gold chained Givenchy Fall 2008 black long sleeved mini dress, with a big fur collared coat when she arrived at BET 106 & Park back in May.

The trend setter also wore her ensemble with over-the-knee boots.

Jennifer Lopez wore the same dress whilst vacationing in Europe, when she stepped out for dinner with her husband. The mother of twins wore her dress with gold jeweled sandals.

Natalia Vodianova wore the same dress with a belt, when she attended Givenchy’s Spring 2009 show last week.

The supermodel wore her dress with gold, black and silver peep-toes and carried a black clutch.

Although I think the belt would get in the way of all those chains, I do prefer Natalia in this dress.

I must say I am a little bit shocked at this comparison, sorry I mean a LOT shocked, dumbfounded even.

Shocked that Jennifer Lopez’ stylist did not check that another high profile actress had already wore this white corduroy Fendi dress.

OK if it had been Lauren Conrad or Jennifer Love Hewitt, the dress wouldn’t have made much of an impact, but it was worn by Cameron Diaz. Come on, do your homework.

Cameron only wore this dress last month, when she walked the red carpet in Japan with Ashton Kutcher and his wife Demi for their What Happens in Vegas premiere.

She wore her dress with nude pumps, which only elongated her already very long legs.

Jennifer Lopez wore the same dress today when she launch her mens fragrance – Deseo – at Macy’s.

The super diva wore her dress with a pair of tanned YSL strappy sandals with gold beading on the front.

Diaz all the way. No question.

This look only works for me from the neck down. Jennifer Lopez’ decision to wear a veil from the Spring 2009 show was very odd. A black veil evokes images of widows at funerals.

The blinged out metallic dress is gorgeous. Such a shame she ruined the overall look.

Matthew McConaughey and his baby-mama, Camilla Alves, got all dressed up in contrasting colours. He was looking mighty fine in a black tux, and she was looking very elegant in a white strapless ruffled gown.

Dita von Teese also went strapless in her ivory corseted Dolce & Gabbana dress, which she wore with a pair of animal print shoes.

Eva Herzigova, Stefano Gabbana and Claudia Schiffer arrived together.

Stefano added a touch of red to his black suit, with his dinky bow tie.

Eva opted for an elaborate white tutu, whilst Claudia brought out the snooze factor with a plain dress which had a white bodice and a black velvet skirt.

Rachel Zoe looked stunning in a fringed white gown.

Fringed dresses were the main feature of Jil Sanders Spring 2009 collection.

Monica Bellucci opens her white fur stole, to reveal her fuchsia strapless mermaid gown.

Dolce and Gabbana’s Spring 2009 collection took dressing for the bedroom, to the runway, as models walked the runway in men’s silk pyjamas, which sounds ridiculous, but as you can see, worked beautifully.

There were a lots of geometric shapes. Circles and rectangles exaggerated hips and shoulders of many satin dresses, blouses and jackets.

Also on display were hot pants, wide palazzo pants, pencil skirts and cocktail jackets.

The finale gowns were adorned with beautiful roses, which reminded me of giant bouquets. I would like to see them on the red carpet, but I fear they may only be confined to the pages of magazines.

Click here to watch the whole runway show.

Jennifer Lopez look magnificent wearing a classic Dolce & Gabbana corseted dress, which hugged her post-baby curves.

I love how the lines on the dress narrow to the middle, giving her a more slender silhouette.

Dita von Teese matched her maroon belt with her heels, as she wore a fur-print Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2008 turtle-neck dress with puffy sleeves.

It is not often we see such a high neckline on Dita.

Eva Herzigova’s Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2008 dress also had a high neck-line. Her chocolate lace dress, was worn with tan booties and a tan belt.

I am not quite sure the red lips work with this look, but everything else is perfection.

Petra Nemcova totally surprised me with this Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2008 baker boy look.

I love her 3 piece tweed suit with pegged trousers, and a baker hat, because this look was not predictable, and Petra’s red carpet look is always very predictable.

Roisin Murphy did not go for the LookBook #24, like the others did, she mix it up wearing a grey cardigan over a pussy blouse and a grey skirt from the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2008.

The edgy star added some very funky turquoise trim glasses, to remind us she does not follow the herd.

Rachel Zoe who is responsible for Anne Hathaway’s stunning transformation, was hopefully picking pieces from this collection for her clients, who also include Cameron Diaz.

The uber stylist wore a multi-coloured silk multi-printed Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2008 dress, with YSL Trib Two Platform Pumps.

Claudia Schiffer opted for a white sheath dress with a ruffled panel down the front.

I must say I am very disappointed she did not pick one of the more dramatic pieces from the Fall 2008 collection like Eva and Dita.

I hate sunglasses indoors, it smacks of self importance.

Camilla Alves keep it very simple with a white ruffled blouse and black pants.

Jennifer Lopez posed during a photo-shoot on the north side of the sacred rock of the Acropolis in Athens, Greece this weekend.

The singer was wearing a dreamy strapless wool Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2008 gown, with a blue tulle skirt.

These pictures, along with the rest of Jennifer Lopez’ editorial will appear in November issue of InStyle Greece.

Can’t wait to see the final result.

On her way to the shoot, with her huge entourage, Mrs Anthony wore an asymmetric Emilio Pucci Fall 2008 gown.

On a night out, Jennifer wore a LBD from Givenchy’s Fall 2008 collection, which is embellished with multiple gold necklaces.

It has been a very fashionable week for Jennifer Lopez, and it’s only Tuesday.

It is official, the RM by Roland Mouret Pigalle dress, is on way to becoming almost as popular as Roland Mouret’s Galaxy dress, which was worn by stars like Cameron Diaz, Dita von Teese and Victoria Beckham.

This form-fitting wool dress with a square pleat front and cap sleeves was first worn by Heidi Klum back in June.

This September 5 more celebrities have been seen in the dress.

UK actress Jennifer Ellison wore the white dress when she attended Ripley’s Believe It Or Not exhibition in London.

Jennifer Lopez wore the dress with YSL Trib Two Platform Pumps to Marc Jacobs Spring 2009 show in New York.

Nina Garcia wore the taupe version, when attending shows at Bryant Park during New York Fashion Week.

Beyonce Knowles wore the same taupe dress, when she attended the New Yorkers For Children Fall Gala with her husband.

Finally Dita von Teese is the first to wear the black ‘Pigalle’ dress, when she attended the Fashion Fringe 2008 Grand Final last night in London.

I love the taupe version, and I think Nina Garcia wore it best.

At the moment I am still very much in love with this dress. My worry is that as the popularity grows, people like Heidi Montag and Kim Kardashian will note this, and then jump on the bandwagon, and that is when the love will fade.
