Jennifer Lopez In Valentino – 2017 Met Gala

I will be the first to admit I did a double-take upon seeing Jennifer Lopez at the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1) in New York City.

This could be more fabric than the entertainer has worn in all her previous looks combined.

Majorly dialing back the overt sex appeal that she favours by wearing this diaphanous Valentino gown, I have to applaud her for trying something new.

That said, I found this look to translate as the exact opposite of fashion-forward. Instead, it was rather dated—from its icy prom-blue colour, to J. Lo’s styling including the large diamond earrings, frosted lip, and half-up ’do.

Jennifer Lopez In AQ/AQ & Roland Mouret – Out In New York City

Jennifer Lopez was spotted out in New York City on Monday (April 24) following a lunch date at The Sea Grill with Alex Rodriguez.

Donning a fitted mint green Roland Mouret dress and a matching AQ/AQ belted trench coat, Jennifer paired her spring statement with chic sunnies and nude pumps.

As much as I love Jennifer’s show stopping red carpet gowns, this feminine pastel sheath dress is understated and really works well in her favor.

Jennifer Lopez In Julien Macdonald – 2017 Billboard Latin Music Awards

Yes. Yes. Yes.

Yes, this a typical Julien Macdonald gown.

Yes, this is nothing new, and YES, I believe that Jennifer Lopez has never looked better.

I’m sorry to disappoint some of you, but JLo took my breath away wearing this barely-there web-like Julien Macdonald Fall 2017 gown.

And what better place to wear such a spicy dress than the 2017 Billboard Latin Music Awards held on Thursday (April 27) in Coral Gables, Florida.

She’s a goddess and if I look half as good at her age, I will be a happy camper.

The look was styled with Jimmy Choo shoes, Lynn Ban jewels and a Thale Blanc clutch.

However, when it came to her second look.

Jennifer Lopez In Zeynep Arçay – The Ellen DeGeneres Show

Jennifer Lopez stopped by ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ on Monday (April 24), where Ellen made sure to ask her about her new boyfriend, former Yankees baseball player Alex Rodriguez.

But, what really stole the show was the singer-actress’s Zeynep Arçay Fall 2017 ensemble that featured a knockout leather wrap bodysuit with sharp, statement shoulders.

Sure, the sizzling snakeskin mini showed off her lovely legs in true J. Lo form. But, it came without a hint of try-hard.

Effortlessly minimal styling contributed to the sleek effect, with complementary pumps along with long waves and radiantly natural makeup completing the look.

Jennifer Lopez In Balmain – Out In New York City

Jennifer Lopez was spotted headed to the Solow Building on Monday (April 3) in New York City en-route to meet her new boyfriend A-Rod.

Never one to go incognito, the singer donned a traffic stopping bright red two-piece look from Balmain’s Spring 2017 collection.

Some might say she appears to be over dressed for daytime, but this is the JLo I adore.

High glamour, over-the-top and totally unapologetic.

Rather than amplify the rich hues of the outfit, JLo styled her look with tan accessories courtesy of Christian Louboutin.

Jennifer Lopez In Elie Saab Couture – NBC Universal Press Day In LA

Jennifer Lopez was at the NBC Universal press day in LA on Monday (March 20).

While the ‘Shades of Blue’ actress showed off a fresh, shorter ’do, she was very much up to her normal style game in this Elie Saab Fall 2016 Couture wrap dress with golden embellishment.

There was no choice between the girls or gams on this occasion, as she flaunted both in a look that could be deemed a bit try-hard for a press day.

While the original runway ensemble married sensuality with sleeker, more sophisticated drama, J. Lo simply took it to all-out sexy territory.

Christian Louboutin heels, jewellery by Ippolita and an Edie Parker clutch completed her dare-to-bare look.
