Fan Bingbing In Ulyana Sergeenko Couture – Trophée Chopard

Fan Bingbing joined Sonam Kapoor at the Trophee Chopard party yesterday evening during Cannes Film Festival and she wasn’t wearing Elie Saab, much to the delight of many of you.

She looked divine, wearing an ice-blue Ulyana Sergeenko Spring 2013 Couture gown; however, it was a case of been-there-already-done-that thanks to Zhang Yuqi at the opening ceremony.

While the gown is not exactly the same, the similarities are mostly focused on the bodice, with the same off-the-shoulder detail and plunging neckline.

What blows me away here are her stunning Chopard jewels and elegant braided updo, which seems to be her go-to style at the moment.

You say you’re bored with Fan Bingbing in Elie Saab and here she is wearing a similar gown worn just days after another actress; is Bingbing’s Queen-of-Cannes crown slipping?

Fan Bingbing In Elie Saab – Chopard Lunch

Fan Bingbing wore yet another Elie Saab dress to the Chopard Lunch during the 2013 Cannes Film Festival in France this afternoon.

Oh yes she did.

This time she selected a blush fully embellished long-sleeved knee-length dress, which she styled with Chopard jewels, taupe triple-stacked peep-toes and a white Bracher Emden clutch.

I was slightly baffled that she appears to be wearing a red bra with this look; however, her dress is backless so I’m guessing she has on one of the stick on bras.

A side-swept ponytail completed her look.

Fan Bingbing In Elie Saab Couture – ‘The Bling Ring’ Party

It looks like it’s going to be the Elie Saab Fan Bingbing show during Cannes Film Festival; the actress wore her third look by the Lebanese designer to ‘The Bling Ring’ party hosted by Louis Vuitton yesterday evening.

After attending the ‘Jeune & Jolie’ premiere wearing a couture gown from the Spring 2012 collection earlier in the evening, she made a quick change into this gorgeous lacy confection from the Fall 2012 Couture collection.

Opting for another braided updo, the actress styled her look with Chopard jewels and the same Louis Vuitton minaudière she carried on Day 1 of the festival.

Is Fan Bingbing wearing Elie Saab for every occasion becoming too predictable and stale or do you love this winning combo?

Fan BingBing In Elie Saab Couture – ‘Skiptrace’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Fan BingBing has already come out with gowns blazing during the first two days of the Cannes Film Festival, and her appearance at the ‘Skiptrace’ photocall on Thursday also brought the drama.

Prior to stunning in an Elie Saab confection at the ‘Jeune and Jolie’ premiere, the Asian style-setter wore her favourite designer, this time from the red-carpet-royal’s Spring 2013 Couture collection.

The angelic soft-white creation was covered in silvery embroidery, sparkling beadwork and lace, all of which was juxtaposed with the actress’s long dark locks and alabaster complexion.

She was like a modish and modern Snow White.

Was Fan’s look something of a fairytale or did it fade into the background?

Fan Bingbing In Elie Saab Couture – ‘Jeune & Jolie’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Many ladies swished their lovely gowns while taking to the red carpet this evening for the ‘Jeune & Jolie’ premiere during Cannes Film Festival, but Fan Bingbing was the first to catch my eye.
That’s because the Asian beauty was wearing Elie Saab Couture.

She may have left us a bit crestfallen that she broke with tradition last night, but she fulfilled her other Cannes duty which was to wear an Elie Saab Couture gown.

This summery yellow gown with an embellished bodice and textured skirt came from the Spring 2012 collection.

As beautfiul as her hair is, it often gets in the way, so I’m delighted she opted for a braided updo on this occasion.

A silver clutch, a divine orange lip colour and Chopard jewels completed her look.

Fan Bingbing In Louis Vuitton – ‘The Great Gatsby’ Premiere & Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Fan Bingbing joined in the celebration of ‘The Great Gatsby’ Cannes Film Festival premiere, which also served as the opening ceremony.

Sadly, she didn’t use the occasion to showcase one of her countrymen’s Asian-inspired creations like she has done for the past three years at the opening ceremony; instead she wore a custom Louis Vuitton gown.

This is the first time the French fashion house has created a gown especially for an Asian actress.

The duchess satin strapless gown with a grey and red sequined bodice was styled with a Louis Vuitton minaudière and Chopard jewels.

Do you wish Fan Bingbing had kept up her opening ceremony tradition or are you too swept away by the lusciousness of the gown to consider this an issue?
