Eva Longoria’s Seven Wardrobe Changes For The 2014 NCLR ALMA Awards

Eva Longoria's Seven Wardrobe Changes For The 2014 NCLR ALMA Awards

The American Latino Media Arts Awards (ALMA Awards) celebrating the best American Latino contributions to music, television and film was hosted by Eva Longoria on Friday (October 11) in Pasadena, California, which saw the actress make seven wardrobe changes.

Look 1: Eva made quite an entrance, sweeping the red carpet wearing a Gabriela Cadena white strapless gown with gold embroidery. The dramatic piece was simply styled with a low ponytail and Martin Katz earrings. I can’t say I’m 100% crazy about the gown, but Eva is most definitely making it work for her.

Eva Longoria In Gabriela Cadena – 2014 Princess Grace Awards Gala

Eva Longoria In Gabriela Cadena - 2014 Princess Grace Awards Gala

Eva Longoria attended the 2014 Princess Grace Awards Gala held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Wednesday (October 8) in Beverly Hills, California.

Working something different to a fitted silhouette, the actress wore a pretty flared design by Gabriela Cadena.

While the blush silk crepe, organza and tulle hand-embroidered cocktail dress with pearl details takes me back to the Givenchy Spring 2011 Couture collection, this is yet again another great look for Eva.

Elegant, not predictable – I bet she was dying to wear a halter-neck gown – and, once again, modern.

Methinks she must have a new stylist.

Eva Longoria In Bec & Bridge – Extra

Eva Longoria In Bec & Bridge - Extra

Eva Longoria paid a visit to ‘Extra’ taped at Universal Studios Hollywood on Wednesday (October 8) in Universal City, California where she chatted with host Mario Lopez about tomorrow’s ALMA Awards, which they will be co-hosting.

The actress wore a Bec & Bridge Spring 2014 olive-green and black frock which plays up asymmetry with sharp cuts and a high hemline.

My issue with many of Eva’s stateside looks is that she often selects pieces that don’t flatter or dresses that feel a tad old-fashioned, but here she looks sexy and modern, styling her look with nude suede Casadei ‘Blade’ pumps.

Eva Longoria In Lenny Niemeyer & Barbara Bui – ‘Frontera’ LA Premiere

Eva Longoria In Lenny Niemeyer & Barbara Bui - 'Frontera' LA Premiere

Eva Longoria attended the premiere of ‘Frontera’, held at the Landmark Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday (August 21).

The actress wore a gleaming white look consisting of a Lenny Niemeyer peplum top with a Barbara Bui pencil skirt.

Accessorized with nude patent leather Christian Louboutin pumps, a thin gold necklace and diamond stud earrings, the actress swept her brunette tresses back off her shoulders, applying striking copper eye makeup and glossy nude lips.

Once again I have nothing but praise for this look. It appears she’s turned a corner and left the pageantry behind her.

Eva Longoria In Reem Acra & SAFiYAA – Global Gift Gala 2014 Marbella

Eva Longoria Reem Acra Global Gift Gala

Eva Longoria hosted the Global Gift Gala 2014 held at Melia Don Pepe Hotel on Saturday (July 20) in Marbella, Spain.

The actress looked stunning wearing a Reem Acra Fall 2014 gold velvet dress with brushed-back detailing giving the look a zebra-print feel to it.

Opting for sleek tresses, smouldering eye makeup and glossy lips, plus the addition of gold earrings, it’s true that being in Europe brings out the best in her style.

Eva Longoria In Pamella Roland – 60th Taormina Film Fest

Eva Longoria In Pamella Roland - 60th Taormina Film Fest

After Eva Longoria arrived via Maserati at the 60th Taormina Film Fest in Italy on Tuesday (June 17), she made a quick-change into something a bit more formal for an appearance later in the evening.

Working one of her favoured silhouettes, the actress glided around in a red Pamella Roland Fall 2013 strapless mermaid gown with a long train.

The bodice of the dress, which featured body-con seaming and exposed, black corsetry detailing, was quite snugly fitted—perhaps a smidge beyond necessary.

However, she did soften the look with loose waves and a petal-pink lip. The black pumps should have been exchanged for a sandal.

Some of you took issue with her earlier Taormina look. Does this one fare any better?
