Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Emma Watson may have rocked an edgy Brood dress to the 2012 MTV Movie Awards, but her makeup was soft and pretty.

Celebrity makeup artist Roz Music created the look for the Lancôme ambassador.

She called Emma’s look, “fairytale-with-a-little-edge”, taking inspiration from the jacaranda trees blooming in LA.

Here’s how to get Emma’s MTV Movie Awards exact look:

Emma Watson represented the ‘Harry Potter’ cast last night at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards in Universal City, California.

The British beauty looked gorgeous wearing an edgy Brood Fall 2012 top and skirt.

I love the sporty-meets-feminine feel of the unique grey racerback top, teamed with a skirt accented with futuristic blue panels along the hips and hemline.

Tough cuff bracelets and Tabitha Simmons ‘Gothic’ sandals accessorize the look.

Emma’s once signature pixie-cut is now almost completely grown out, and styled into a chic chin-length bob.

Emma Watson attended the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of ‘Struck By Lightning’ held in New York City on Saturday Evening.

Supporting ‘Glee’ star Chris Colfer, who wrote and stars in the film, Emma walked the red carpet in head-to-toe Miu Miu.

Ready for spring, the actress chose mismatched floral prints in ladylike silhouettes.

She then amped up the edgy factor of an otherwise very sweet look by adding a peplum leather jacket on top. We’ve seen her do this before.

Black peep-toes and a pink Miu Miu clutch accessorized the look.

Thankfully, Emma seems to have skipped that awkward stage of growing out her signature pixie cut, as her hair looks very cute and polished slicked back.

Mulberry threw another party during Coachella; this time it was poolside at the Parker Palm Springs Hotel to celebrate the Fall 2012 collection despite the sunny climes.

Kate Bosworth: Never one to miss a Mulberry party, the actress was front and centre again wearing a full Mulberry Fall 2012 look. Keeping the same black high-top sneakers and ‘Lily’ shoulder bag from the previous event, Kate wore a fuzzy tight print tee with black studded shorts. Shades and a pop of colour via her pink lip colour and aqua fish-shaped earrings completed her look.

Emma Watson: The former ‘Harry Potter’ star wore a Mulberry Fall 2012 fuzzy tiger-print playsuit which I would’ve loved to have seen without the black cardigan. Emma’s accessories included beige Joie ‘Leo’ strippy flat sandals, a brown felt hat, a gold detailed black belt and of course the obligatory Mulberry bag, which was a tan ‘Lily’ shoulder bag in oak with tassels.

Lily Collins: The ‘Mirror Mirror’ actress was the only one who embraced the season and the soaring temperatures in Palm Springs, as she wore a summery look from the Mulberry Spring 2012 collection. Her ¾-length-sleeve stripy dress was teamed with a Mulberry ‘Lily’ shoulder bag in dark navy and Mulberry bow-front beige flats.

Last year’s event was a lot more colourful and season appropriate.

As the face of Lancôme, Emma Watson was the guest of honour at the Lancôme Pre-BAFTA Party which was held at The Savoy Hotel in London this evening.

The British actress wore a red Valentino Pre-Fall 2012 mini dress with a lace top and a satin bubble skirt with a side bow.

Her hair was slicked back with a side-parting and she added a pop of red to her lips.

I really want to love this look, but I just can’t.

Emma’s looks are starting to give me a strong case of déjà vu.

Lace mini dress, check. Lacquered locks, check. Bold lip colour, check.

I don’t know about you, but as nice as this is (sans Christian Louboutin shoes) it’s nothing new to me.

Time to change the hairstyle or be more experimental with her dress choices me thinks.

I’m dying to know what you guys think.
