Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Dita von Teese was in Melbourne, Australia yesterday for the launch of her first ever clothing line, Dita Von Teese ‘Muse’ Collection.

The Burlesque Queen designed her very own limited edition collection, which will allow us to emulate her ladylike look.

The collection of only five pieces, which includes vintage-inspired dresses and a tulle layered trench coat, will be sold exclusively through Australian retailer David Jones.

We should expect couture detailing, cinched-in waists, vintage inspirations and impeccable attention to detail.

The collection will be available at David Jones from February 2012.

Dita opted for a bold, colourful look for the launch which included a floral print dress and red hot signature touches.

Dita von Teese attended the premiere of “God Save My Shoes” held at the Paris Theatre in New York last night.

The burlesque star opted for a red long sleeve Elie Saab Fall 2011 cocktail dress which is cinched at the waist with a red leather belt.

It’s a silhouette familiar to Dita but she sticks to it because it works with her beautiful curvy figure.

Dita added all red accessories to her look including a Lulu Guinness diamond-embellished “Lips” clutch and silk Christian Louboutin peep-toe bow heels.

It looks like red shoes are going to continue to become a hot red carpet trend.

She finished her look with her trademark red lips, red and white half-moon nails, bold eyebrows and a Forties-inspired hairstyle.

Dita von Teese was spotted out and about with a friend in LA recently looking as beautiful and flawless as ever.

She opted to wear a Maxime Simoens Spring 2011 dress.

Her ivory polka dot and lace dress has a structure bodice, fitted waist and floaty skirt.

This white lace Dolce & Gabbana ‘Miss Sicily’ top handle bag seems to be her favourite bag of the summer.

The Burlesque queen wore her hair up in a neat bun with her trademark red lips and nails completing her beauty regime.

Ivory pumps and retro shades completed her day time look.

With the weather so bad in London Dita von Teese reminds me that it is in fact still summer.

She looked glorious wearing a bright floral print dress with a magenta turban which gives her look a distinct retro vibe.

The inspiring vintage look was paired with some modern accessories which included green bow front Christian Louboutin heels, which perfectly complemented her dress, and a white lace Dolce & Gabbana ‘Miss Sicily’ top handle bag.

On a quiet week this is definitely a BDOTW contender.

Cointreau Brand Ambassador Dita Von Teese launched her latest namesake cocktail the ‘Cointreau MargaDita’ in Dallas, Texas last night at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek.

The Burlesque star wore a vibrant-coloured vintage floral dress accented with a flowing green and yellow sash.

Her dress was paired with custom-made Christian Louboutin heels and a chartreuse Christian Louboutin feathered clutch.

I love that we are seeing Dita wearing something so colourful, but I don’t think the sash was really necessary.
