Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Demi Moore graces the cover of Harper’s Bazaar’s April 2010 issue wearing Chanel.

You may remember we saw the candids from this shoot back in December.

In her editorial she wears Alexander McQueen, Christian Dior, Carolina Herrera and that beautiful feathered Jason Wu dress we’ve seen on Iman.

I had to do a double take of the picture of her wearing Jason Wu, because for a split second I thought it was Victoria Beckham.

In her interview she talks about the first time she met hubby Ashton Kutcher and why she prefers being called a puma over a cougar.

You can read read all of Demi’s interview at HarpersBazaar.com. Below are some of the highlights.

On whether she’d prefer being called a cougar or puma: “Cougar has become so distasteful. I really hate that expression. I prefer puma it has a sweeter quality, more elegant. And then somebody said to me, ‘Pumas are only for people in their 30s.’” Read more…

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore walked the red carpet at the “18th Annual A Night At Sardi’s Fundraiser” event.

The happy were all smiles as they made their way into the Beverly Hilton Hotel to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association.

I really hated Ashton’s suit, but Demi Moore looked beautiful wearing a Lanvin Spring 2010 strapless dress with a ruffled peplum.

This is a much better effort by Demi in Lanvin, because she failed in her last Lanvin look.

On the downside the look is highly predictable from the hair, to the dress, to the black pumps.

I’m sure Demi is going for a understated look, but I wish she would give us something to get excited about. Even a pop of colour here or there will get my pulse racing.

This is way too de ja vu for me to get excited, but I do think she looks beautiful.

Shoulda Worn The Runway Orange Award
On regular red carpet events Demi Moore has started to become a bit boring for many of you.

But tonight at the 2010 Oscars she looked stunning wearing an Atelier Versace Spring 2008 blush tone gown.

The strapless gown had a dramatic tiered skirt and a rose detail on the hip.

I really loved this gown, but for some reason it made me think of a similar Versace gown Penelope Cruz wore to the 2007 Oscars.

For once Ashton wasn’t hanging off her arm, so I could take in all of this stunning gown.

She would have “Shut it down” in the orange runway version though.

Her look was paired with a Ferragamo clutch and Van Cleef & Arpels jewels.

Victoria Beckham announced during her Fall 2010 presentation that she will be wearing one of the pieces from said collection to the Oscars.

If you thought that would have been your first look at the collection on the red carpet, Demi Moore has beaten her to the punch.

Last night at a Pre-Oscar Hollywood Gala in LA, Demi look gorgeous wearing a strapless blue gown from Victoria’s Fall 2010 collection with Jack Vartanian jewels.

I love the colour on Demi because if she wears one more black dress I think I’ll lose my mind.

The gown is shapeless, but I’m loving how Demi is posing so the gown doesn’t look like a sack on her.

Does this deserve to be BDOTW? I’m having trouble selecting as we’ve had so many great looks this week.

Demi Moore was in London last night with her husband Ashton Kutcher to promote new movie “Valentine’s Day”.

The stunning actress walked the red carpet wearing a Marchesa Spring 2010 dress.

She paired her black strapless dress which was decorated with white organza flower appliqués with black peep-toes heels and a Roger Vivier clutch.

I love the dress, especially the sequined embroidered floral details on the side of the dress, but I can’t get excited about it on Demi because of the feeling of de ja vu.

Black dress, black shoes, black clutch. It’s becoming a red carpet uniform.

I don’t hate this look, but I’m missing the wow factor from Demi.

You may remember that Kerry Washington wore the gown version of this dress last year.
