Chloe Sevigny In Simone Rocha – ‘Bold & Fearless’ Santos de Cartier Watch Launch

Chloe Sevigny showed some leg at the ‘Bold & Fearless’ Santos de Cartier watch launch event on Thursday (April 5) in San Francisco, California, joining Sienna Miller.

The girlish nature of the frills and floral pattern on her Simone Rocha Spring 2018 dress were tempered by the sheer panel exposing one leg.

Given that the majority seem to be opposed to sheer skirts, I’m intrigued to see how this half style will go down.

It certainly adds a sensual allure to the frock, making it much more than a whimsical floral number.

She played into a glamorous retro vibe with red lipstick and nail polish and the victory roll hairstyle.

Chloe Sevigny In Simone Rocha – Montblanc Meisterstuck Le Petit Prince Event

Chloe Sevigny was back on the red carpet for the Montblanc Meisterstuck Le Petit Prince event on Wednesday (April 4) in New York City, where she joined Milla Jovovich and Rita Ora.

The actress wore a Simone Rocha ruched and ruffled Spring 2018 dress.

I’m sure some might liken this to something a modern-day Elizabeth Bennet might wear, but I’m always here for Chloe when she takes fashion risks.

Having said that, I can’t say I’m too enamored by the accessories though, but I’m guessing the strong contrast was to prevent this looking too much like a vintage nightie.

Front Row @ Gucci Fall 2018

Milan Fashion Week is in full swing, with the Gucci Fall 2018 show held on Wednesday (February 21) and style darlings in attendance.

Rowan Blanchard: Not only did the lime-green hue of this jumpsuit draw me in, so too did the retro-modern influences that Rowan flaunted so flawlessly. I love the spark of the contrasting magenta-pink handbag for a girlish finish to echo her beauty look.

Chloe Sevigny: There was a distinct throwback vibe in this jumpsuit ensemble, too, that played with volume in the pouf sleeves and pants. I do think the cross-body bag was a bit of a distracting interference.

Miriam Leone: The more interesting element of this ensemble was the back, with the Bob Mackie reference and embellished gown’s deconstructed bow. Yet, the fit and execution still left something to be desired.

Chloe Sevigny In Simone Rocha – Sundance Film Festival

Chloe Sevigny has also been making the rounds at the Sundance Film Festival with appearances at three different events in three different Simone Rocha Spring 2018 looks.

An Artist at the Table Event: Chloe kicked off her Sundance weekend on Thursday (January 18) with something of a patchwork, mixed print look. I didn’t love the slightly muddled, baggy mood that the embellished dress was giving off, and the styling did nothing to help what became a mumsy silhouette—especially those clunky shoes. I would save the Louis Vuitton handbag, though.

DIRECTV Lodge: Channeling her inner Princess Leia hairstyle on Friday (January 19), the actress took a relaxed-casual approach that saw her back on form with this cool-girl offering. I love how the ruffles brought a fun, feminine twist to this retro-tweed, cropped jacket paired with cutoff denim and the same LV bag to finish the ensemble with polished finesse.

‘Lizzie’ Premiere: Later on Friday, Chloe paired her side buns with another embellished frock. This one was more successful, though, in that she brought her own personally rebellious side to the look, switching the lining to black and adding edgy combat boots to, well, combat the more girlish aspects of its flowers and ruffles. Adwoa Aboah wore the same dress, but styled in the manner of its original runway presentation.

Chloe Sevigny In Rodarte – Downtown Race Riot Opening Night

Chloe Sevigny was at the opening night of the new play, ‘Downtown Race Riot,’ on Sunday (December 3) in New York City.

Never one to shy away from pushing the envelope on style, she donned what can only be described as a highly decorative Rodarte Spring 2018 ensemble.

I was getting a certain flamenco vibe in the ruffled cropped top mixed with a gaucho-influenced, modern femininity in the pants.

But, with her incredibly substantial gold earrings echoing the golden bow at her waist, not to mention her sleek bun and crimson lip, Chloe pulled off the theatrics of the look perfectly.

‘Cabiria, Charity, Chastity’ New York Premiere

Kenzo’s creative directors Humberto Leon and Carol Lim hosted the ‘Cabiria, Charity, Chastity’ premiere in New York City on Wednesday (September 13), alongside Natasha Lyonne.

Chloe Sevigny: The actress wore a Kenzo Spring 2018 crinkled satin dress styled with white go-go boots which suited the ’60s vibe she was going for within this look.

Natasha Lyonne: As the host of the event, the ‘OITNB’ actress was naturally in head-to-toe Kenzo. I can’t say I’m a fan of this look. The oversized blazer is impeccably cut, but on the actress – along with the styling – overwhelms her petite frame. Less would’ve been more in this case.
