Chloe Mortez In Viktor & Rolf - 'Kick Ass 2' London Photocall

Chloe Moretz attended the ‘Kick-Ass 2′ photocall held at Claridges Hotel in London this afternoon.

Considering the downpour, this snazzy Viktor & Rolf Resort 2014 suit was an appropriate look for the occasion.

Her grey-and-navy striped suit styled with a simple white shirt is the perfect way to work a menswear inspired look in an effortless and youthful way.

We all know Chloe has an extensive shoe closet, however, on this occasion she selected a fuss-free pair of black Chanel Mary Janes which were perfectly in tune with her well-tailored look.

Barely there makeup and wavy locks completed her look.

Chloe Moretz for InStyle UK August 2013

InStyle-issue-August-cover-Chloe-Moretz

Chloe Moretz graces the cover of InStyle UK’s August 2013 issue wearing a Christian Dior Fall 2013 black-and-white-houndstooth and pink-crochet dress.

The 16-year-old actress, who stars in the upcoming movie ‘Carrie’ alongside Hollywood star Julianne Moore, also wears bright-hued looks by Simone Rocha and Jeremy Scott in her editorial.

She talks to the mag about the prospect of falling in love one day, high-powered meetings in Hollywood, her parents’ break up and her mum’s cancer diagnosis.

Here are some extracts from her interview. To read more, head over to InStyle.co.uk.

On the prospect of falling in love one day: “You think, ‘Who’s out to deceive me?’ That’s hard. Especially growing up and liking guys and, maybe, ‘Do you want to be in a relationship? Is this person trying to be in my life because I’m famous?’ You can’t just like someone. They might be using you. I talk to Julianne [Moore, her co-star in 'Carrie'] about it and she says, ‘Look, just be careful. Trust your judgement but don’t get in too deep sometimes.’ Because, you know, when you’re young, you fall in love and don’t know it’s happening.”

On having high-powered meetings in Hollywood: “What have I got to be intimidated about? I talk to Donna [Langley, co-chair of Universal Pictures] or someone like that, and they’re like, ‘We’d love to do stuff with you. I’ll tell you our slate, tell us what you’re interested in.’ …Sometimes they’ll just be, ‘It’s so weird, you are 16 years old. You don’t talk like my kid does.’ And I’m like, ‘Trust me, when I’m with friends I might.’”

On her mum and dad’s break up, and her mum’s cancer diagnosis: “It made me realise, along with everything that happened with my dad, that your parents aren’t these godly figures. They’re not chosen by the heavens. They’re humans. Their bodies can fail and they can die at any moment. They make mistakes. They cry. They fight. It definitely, from a young age, put everything into perspective for me.”

Chloe Moretz In Fendi – 2013 Billboard Music Awards

Chloe Moretz In Fendi - 2013 Billboard Music Awards

Chloe Moretz was certainly in the mood to have fun at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday evening judging by her look.

She sported a colour-block Fendi Spring 2013 frock which had been shortened from the runway.

The look was already quite busy with its geometric panels and multi-coloured frayed skirt, however, the young actress – who has quite an impressive shoe collection – added an interesting pair of Fendi black open-toe sandals with black-and-white beaded accents.

What would I change about this look? The leather corseted belt.

While the objective was to nip in her waist; I think it has done the opposite.

Sleek straight tresses completed her look.

Chloe Moretz in Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony – NYLON Magazine’s Young Hollywood Issue Event

Chloe Moretz in Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony at 'Nylon' Magazine's Young Hollywood Issue Event

NYLON magazine’s newest cover girl, Chloe Moretz, was the starlet of the show at the glossy’s ‘Young Hollywood’ issue party at The Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, California on Tuesday.

For her big entrance, the actress was thinking pink in a pastel gingham minidress by Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony.

The two Chloes should be a perfect fit at a NYLON event. Yet, I still wasn’t loving this high-neck, long-sleeve frock, despite its cute factor and the cotton-candy-coloured print. There just wasn’t much sassy or spirited edge that I could pluck off of this glorified street-wear look.

Like at the MTV Movie Awards, Chloe trotted out a fun pair of burgundy bow-accented, retro T-bar Jimmy Choo shoes. Loose waves, a flicked cat-eye and black-lacquered nails polished off the ensemble.

But, at the ripe age of sweet sixteen, I say she should be seizing the day in the name of style and experimenting with fashion. There is plenty of time to play it safe. Carpe diem.

Do you think Chloe’s look was cover-girl material?
