Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Monaco’s future princess, South African Charlene Wittstock made her first official appearance as royal fiancée of Prince Albert II today during a parade for Monaco’s National Day in Monte Carlo.

She looked breath-taking as she waved to the adoring crowed from the balcony of the Prince’s Palace.

Charlene has already shown us that she has a great sense of style – which is very important as the future Princess of Monaco – and that continued today as she looked so very chic wearing an Armani Privé Fall 2010 skirt suit.

Her suit is perfect for such a formal occasion. I love how the jacket nips in at the waist then fans out.

What I love most about this look are her accessories.

Her sculptural brown hat, leather gloves, box clutch and brown satin pumps perfectly complemented her suit.

I hope our Kate Middleton is taking notes.

Charlene Wittstock, South African Olympic swimmer and fiancée of Prince Albert II of Monaco, attended the 62nd Monaco Red Cross Ball at the Sporting Club Monte Carlo on Friday.

The statuesque blonde looked every inch the Princess she’ll soon become wearing a glamorous Armani Privé gown.

The powder pink silk crepe gown which she wears off-the-shoulder features a decorative twist at the neckline and on the back.

Charlene who knows more about sport than fashion, will constantly be compared to Prince Albert’s mother Princess of Monaco Grace Kelly.

Aligning herself with Armani with help her develop a reputation for chic dressing.
