Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Despite being in the latest James Bond movie for approximately 5 minutes and 32 seconds, the Asian leg of the promotional tour for ‘Skyfall’ was left in Bérénice Marlohe’s capable hands today.

The French beauty attended the Tokyo premiere held at Toho Cinemas Nichigeki wearing a Diane von Furstenberg Spring 2013 dress.

Her tri-colour dress with a ruched dove-grey bodice, white waistband and aqua wrap skirt is lovely on the model, but the well-endowed actress is putting considerable strain on that thin gold strap.

It’s a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen and looks quite uncomfortable.

On the plus side, it’s refreshing to see Bérénice wearing something light colour-wise.

Gold Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, gold jewels, a wavy updo and signature smoky eyes completed her look.

Bérénice Marlohe joined her co-star, Naomie Harris, on the red carpet for the ‘Skyfall’ Sydney premiere, which was held at the State Theatre in Australia earlier today.

She looked stunning, wearing a J. Mendel Spring 2013 gown.

The French actress finally gives us a break from the sequinned, fitted dresses she seems to favour, for this elegant purple frock with a tulle bodice, chiffon skirt and delicate floral embroidery.

On this occasion, the smoky purple eye totally works with the look, and I love the additional pop of colour via her green and aqua drop earrings.

Looking back on Berenice’s looks so far this promo tour, I think this one takes the lead.

Bérénice Marlohe attended the ‘Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame’ ceremony honouring Javier Bardem in California yesterday afternoon.

The French actress wore an Elie Saab dress from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection.

It pains me to say it, but I’m swiftly falling out of love with Berenice.

Her nude dress with lace sleeves and a lace yoke is nice enough, but nothing to get excited about.

You won’t be surprised to learn that she opted for her two-tone smoky eye with this look, which again doesn’t work with her nude dress.

I’m starting to think her makeup artist is something of a one-trick pony.

Giuseppe Zanotti gold metallic pumps and a wavy updo completed her look.

I believe she can do better, but she’s yet to prove it.

With the New York premiere for ‘Skyfall’ being cancelled last week, Berenice Marlohe still had a chance to shine on the red carpet at the 2012 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards presented by BBC America at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California yesterday evening.

The French actress, who appears to have a thing for sparkling gowns – and who can blame her? – wore an Oscar de la Renta Resort 2013 gown on this occasion.

Her opulent gold floral sequin gown with a dramatic silhouette, thanks to those womanly curves, features a deep plunging neckline, cap sleeves and a mock collar.

She styled her look with gold jewels and a matching Swarovski gold leather ‘Bel Air’ clutch with crystal closure.

Many of you haven’t warmed to Berenice’s love for smoky eyes. On this occasion I agree. Her makeup is far too heavy for this shimmering gold gown.

Bérénice Marlohe graces the cover November 2012 issue of Harper’s Bazaar Español.

The French actress was captured by Benjamin Kanarek on location at the Hotel De Crillon in Paris wearing stunning creations by Prada, Jean Paul Gaultier, Alaia, Bottega Veneta, Lanvin and Alexandre Vauthier.

I still feel like many of you aren’t so impressed with the latest Bond girl on the red carpet, so how does the editorial fare?

Daniel Craig and Berenice Marlohe were out again last night for the Berlin premiere for ‘Skyfall’ held at the Theater am Potsdamer Platz in Germany.

The French actress wore a stunning Armani Privé black one-shoulder gown with a sculptural shoulder detail and double-layered skirt with Marina B jewels.

It’s such a crying shame that she ruined the look with that hair.

Yes, her hair needed to be up with this gown, but this is just-so-sloppy.

I can’t decided if this is ‘just-go-out-of-the-shower’ or ‘just-back-from-the-gym’; either way it’s a tragedy and not befitting of this gown.

I’m absolutely flabbergasted and I would love to know what her hairstylist was thinking.
