“Bride Wars” Berlin Photo Call

Finally Kate Hudson & Anne Hathaway have made it to Europe. But unfortunately it looks like Rachel Zoe did not travel with them.

Yes it is just a photocall, but come on Anne, give me something. A wrap cardi, jeans and booties just won’t do.

Kate Hudson faired better in an all black ensemble, which consisted of a black ruffled shirt, a black leather Temperley London Fall 2008 high-waisted skirt and black peep-toes.

She completed her look with a round gold necklace, which was engraved with an ‘R’. No doubt for son Ryder.

“Inkheart” New York Premiere

Jennifer Connelly looked stylish whilst keep the cold at bay. The actress was head to toe in Balenciaga.

Her dress was from the recently presented Pre-Fall 2009 collection, as are her space age booties.

“Doubt” London Photocall

I am not even sure what to say about Amy Adams’ black dress except that I am totally underwhelmed.

“Hotel For Dogs”, LA

Selena Gomez wore leg lengthening nude pumps, with her cute ivory mini BCBG Max Azria dress.

The dress had embroidery detail on the yoke, and a cute bow tied to her waist.

I am loving everything here except the lips. I really don’t like the shade with what she’s wearing.

Emma Roberts also opted for an ivory ensemble. She wore her Helmut Lang tuxedo satin lapel blazer Sonny Crockett style, whilst showing off her legs in tiny Chloe Spring 2009 shorts.

Love the look, but I would have not picked those heels.

Anne Hathaway has been wowing us for the last few months, since Rachel Zoe started styling her. As a result I fallen in love with her.

As the saying goes, ‘All good things come to an end’, and her magnificent run was ruined last night, when she stepped onto the red carpet wearing this black and gold Chanel Fall 2008 Couture sleeveless dress, with feather detailing and a belt to nip in her waist.

She accessorized with black Chanel pumps and Bvlgari jewels.

I don’t know about you, but I really don’t like the dress. Hair and make-up is gorgeous, but the dress….No. It feels too old for her.

The Chanel Fall 2008 Couture collection, was not my favourite, and since Diane Kruger and Cameron Diaz fail to impress in this collection, my advice to everyone else is steer clear.

Unless of course you’re Anna Wintour, because it appears that the Chanel Fall 2008 Couture collection was made for her.

Many of you have accused Amy Adams of continuing to play it safe. I would say that there’s nothing safe about this one-shoulder nude Giambattista Valli dress with a black tulle overlay.

Heather Graham wowed in this plunging red maxi dress.

I must say I forgot how beautiful she is.

I really love this ombre strapless YSL dress, with a cute bow detail on the waist. Unfortunately I don’t think it’s Salma Hayek’s style. It’s a little to cutesy for her, but I love the colour against her skin.

All the ladies were of course blinged out with Bvlgari jewels.

For the second time in RCFA history you guys were undecided in who was your Best Dressed of the Week.

It was a hard week, as the celebrities were out to impress. But you picked Anne Hathaway in Gianfranco Ferré and Kate Beckinsale in J. Mendel.

Two very different styles. One was edgy and interesting. The other slightly predictable, and safe, but there is nothing wrong with that, when the end result was how fabulous Kate Beckinsale looked in her gown.

I was memorized by Anne Hathaway in Balmain. It was unexpected and sexy, so she was my pick of the week.

Finally No Black/Best Dressed/Best Couple Award
In my Best Of 2008 Awards, I was praying for colour in 2009 for Angelina Jolie.

Either god answered my prays, or Angelina reads my blog, because here we have Ange looking out-friggin-standing wearing a ice white Max Azria Spring 2009 one-sleeved gown.

She wore her gown with her hair pulled back, pearl earrings and a Herve Leger Spring 2009 clutch.

She is wearing no make-up would you believe. Beauty at its most simplistic.

Oh and Brad does not look to bad either. I am even getting used to that fuzz on his chin.

Most Edgy Award
Anne Hathaway is having an outstanding week.

Sticking to her non-safe approach to dressing, the actress walked the red carpet wearing another dress from the Gianfranco Ferré Spring 2009 collection.

The black side of the dress looks more fitted, whereas the ivory side has wavy fold to add more drama to the dress.

The look is completed with a gold buckled belt, as it was presented on the runway, and black peep-toes.

Best Embellishments Award
This is a slight predictable dress for Eva Longoria, but the turquoise Monique Lhuiller Spring 2009 cocktail dress looks divine on her.

The colour and embellished details on the halter-neck and waist really make her glow.

I am not so sure about the yellow clutch, but I do like the nude pumps and the new bangs.

Golden Girl Award
Evan Rachel Wood’s looks does not have any stench of Dita von Teese, so congratulations to her for exorcising that demon.

The actress sparkled in a gold Jasmine Di Milo dress and Stuart Weitzman shoes.

Best Strapless Gown Award
Gowns are her forte, so it’s no wonder Kate Beckinsale looks drop-dead gorgeous in this deep burgundy strapless J.Mendel Pre-Fall 2009 gown.

On The Fence Award
I am not sure if I like this or hate this.

I believe Katy Perry really pulls this 1940s Dolce & Gabbana boudoir look off, but I’m just not sure if I like it, as it feels like a costume.

Best Black Award
Diane Lane and Josh Brolin are my Best Couple Runners up. They always look so good together.

My ever first girl crush, Diane looks exquisite wearing a black sequined Monique Lhuillier dress, with a black satin bow tied to her waist.

Best Heels Award
Kristin Scott Thomas looked so sophisticated wearing a black YSL bustier dress with YSL satin sandals.

Her look was complete with a simple pearl pendant necklace, diamond earrings, and a black embellished clutch.

Best Dressed Curves
Virginia Madsen looks delightful wearing this blue velvet David Meister strapless gown.

The gathered detail on the bodice, works well as draws you in, and gives her a more defined silhouette.

Best Newcomer Award
I have not featured Freida Pinto on my blog before, but on her first appearance I have nothing but praise.

Her draped white Zac Posen Spring 2009 dress is complimented with her silver peep-toes.

Best Heels/Clutch Combo Award
Amy Adams wore a strapless vibrant blue Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2009 dress which had a structured piece on the hip.

Her clutch and silver Christian Louboutin slingbacks all compliment the silver brooch she added to the hip of her dress.

Just OK Award
Another cute dress for Dakota Fanning. This time it’s Marc Jacobs.

For this edition of Who Wore it Better? I’m taking it to the streets.

In my Best Of 2008 posts, I gave Victoria Beckham the Best Sidewalk Style Award, because the sidewalk is her catwalk, and no one can out do her when it comes to shopping in 6″ heels and Balenciaga dresses to go shopping at The Grove.

This was evident when she breezed through Heathrow airport back in November.

Not one to wear tights and ruin an ensemble whilst it was raining in London -see why I love her- Victoria wore her taupe Stella McCartney Felt military coat, with a matching taupe Hermes bag, brown hat, and Christian Louboutin Arielle Ankle Boots.

Anna Hathaway was spotted in New York wearing the same coat in a creamy beige colour, when she made her way to The Early Show in New York on Monday.

Like Victoria, Anne wore her coat with celebrity shades, and unbuckled but tied at the waist.

As much as I am crushing on Anne at the moment, and as much as she looks fabulous giving Victoria a run for her money in her playground. I have to give this to VB.

The coat, the hat, the bag all compliment each other perfectly, plus she doesn’t have a stylist putting her together, so she deserves more credit.

You can buy the taupe Stella McCartney coat Victoria is wearing from the international Net-A-Porter site for £1,175/€1,570.

Thanks to the person who informed me that Anne Hathaway heels were actually Christian Louboutin Very Galaxy heels.

These gold mirror satin peep-toes are currently available on pre-order from Saks.com for $1,295, but now that Anne has worn them, expect them to sell out quickly.

Remember how hard it was to get the Bling blings? I think I waited 3 months for those.

Get them before they go.
