America Ferrera In Jenny Packham – 2015 Oscars

America Ferrera In Jenny Packham - 2015 Oscars

America Ferrera was one of the first to arrive on the red carpet for the 2015 Oscars held at Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 22) in Hollywood, California.

She was a vision of grandeur wearing a show-stopping Jenny Packham Pre-Fall 2015 gown, elegantly crafted in chiffon with a plunging v neckline and dramatic ombrè effect.

Complementing the look with Irene Neuwirth earrings, a Rauwolf clutch in a contrasting cherry hue rounded out this breath-taking fairytale look.

America has had many great moments in recent times, but this ranks as one of her finest.

America Ferrera In Pamella Roland – Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon & Hollywood Reporter’s Oscar Nominees Night Party

America Ferrera In Pamella Roland - Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon & Hollywood Reporter's Oscar Nominees Night Party

America Ferrera attended both the 87th Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon and The Hollywood Reporter’s Annual Oscar Nominees Night Party in Beverly Hills, California, on Monday (February 2).

Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon: For her first look of the day, the actress wore a rust-coloured dress with minimalist tailoring, which lends this skater dress a sense of demure sophistication. The look was styled with an Ethan K clutch and black Aldo ‘Cadaudda’ sandals.

The Hollywood Reporter’s Annual Oscar Nominees Night Party: The actress looked stunning later the same evening wearing a Pamella Roland Resort 2015 sequin rose-gold dress with a beaded waist strategically constructed to create a defined hourglass silhouette. Styled with another pair of Aldo sandals, this perfect look was completed with a silver box clutch and sultry cat eyes.

For me there is no favourite here. Both were well styled and thought out for the events attended. She totally nailed her looks, with the only bit of black coming from her first Aldo sandals.

America Ferrera In Dolce & Gabbana – 2015 Producers Guild Awards

America Ferrera In Dolce & Gabbana - 2015 Producers Guild Awards

America Ferrera attended the 2015 Producers Guild Awards held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Saturday (January 24) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress may not be serving up any surprises wearing a black lace Dolce & Gabbana frock, but this classic dress, framed by scalloped fringe at the neckline and hem, is elevated thanks to the smattering of crystal embellishments.

Brian Atwood black satin pumps and Kwiat jewels rounded out this predictable look.

Get The Look: America Ferrera’s National Board of Review Gala Wavy Tresses & Dewy Glow

2014 National Board Of Review Gala - ArrivalsCelebrity hairstylist Leonardo Manetti and celebrity makeup artist Linda Hay worked with America Ferrera for the 2014 National Board of Review Gala on Tuesday (January 6).

HAIR

First up, Leonardo Manetti explains his hair inspiration: “We decided on classic curled waves for America at the National Board of Review Gala.”

Here’s how to get the look.

After applying a combination of Oribe Foundation Mist and Oribe Maximista Thickening Spray, he blew out America’s hair. Once dry, he separated the hair into sections (two in front, two on the sides and two in the back) and curled the hair using a one-inch curling iron.

To set, he used a bit of Oribe Impermeable Spray. Then he brushed out the curls into his desired shape and finished with Oribe Superfine Hairspray.

MAKEUP

“Inspired by America’s vintage Valentino dress, we went with a modern classic, the smokey eye and beige lip. It was a fresh complement to the sophisticated little black dress,” Linda said of her beauty inspiration.

Here’s how to get the look.

Linda kept the skin very sheer using Kevyn Aucoin Candlelight to add radiance. She also used Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate for a bit of contour. She then added a splash of blush on the apples of the cheeks using Armani Blush #506.

Next she used Charlotte Tilbury Black Eye Pencil to line the top lid and inside the water line on the bottom lid, blending the pencil line using the darkest shade from the YSL Palette #4. She then used the mid-tone shades of the palette to blend up and away. Linda also used the highlighter shade just under the brow and inside corner of the eye. Under the eye she applied a soft line of the medium shade, followed by heavy layers of L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara.

Linda finished with a nude lip to contrast the eye, using NARS Chubby Lip Pencil in Buenos Aires.
