America Ferrera In Ulla Johnson – 2017 Sundance NEXT FEST

Jaime King wasn’t the only one holding court at the 2017 Sundance NEXT FEST in LA over the weekend on Saturday (August 12), as America Ferrera was also in attendance.

As summer clicks by, we’re seeing more transitional looks and that’s exactly how this Ulla Johnson Fall 2017 cheetah-print frock translated.

Its conservatively feminine, maxi dress style was a familiar silhouette for America, but when styled with vampy Kurt Geiger ‘Argon’ pumps, the mood turned more dramatic.

However, a sandal would have made it all a bit more summer-forward. Would you agree?

America Ferrera In Kate Spade New York – NBCUniversal Summer TCA Press Tour

America Ferrera joined Mandy Moore for the NBCUniversal Summer TCA Press Tour on Thursday (August 3) in Beverly Hills, California.

Kate Spade New York romanticized the upcoming Fall season with a bold red poppy print frock imbued with flutter sleeves for a delightfully feminine flourish.

Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Charlene’ red sandals couldn’t have been a more perfect way to style this eye-catching look.

Striking colour and America Ferrera have always been a perfect union. Long may it continue.

America Ferrera In Lela Rose – Politicon 2017

Actress-activist America Ferrera put on her political hat so to speak to sit on panels for Politicon 2017 on Sunday (July 30) in Pasadena, California.

Her Lela Rose Pre-Fall 2017 frock certainly wins the vote for most charming.

I love the dress’s cheery array of bright, garden florals and its supremely feminine, ladylike aura that looked to vintage silhouettes for inspiration.

Stella Luna ‘Indispensable’ pumps in a coral-pink hue played into the overall look beautifully.

2017 NBCUniversal Upfront Red Carpet Roundup

Many more notable names joined Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian at the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront on Monday (May 15) in New York City.

America Ferrera: The actress was awash in a lovely spring fever with this ladylike Saloni ‘Grace’ off-the-shoulder, floral-print frock. Too bad about the pumps, as a sandal in an equally vibrant hue would have been far more suitable.

Nicole Richie: Laid-back elegance defined these classically simple Josie Natori cami with a Galvan Resort 2017 wrap skirt.

Jessica Biel: Designer Roland Mouret’s signature sharp silhouette and folded detailing morphed into a look of ultimate feminine sophistication in this ‘Sawleigh’ peplum dress in a rich cranberry hue. It fit Jessica like a beautiful glove.

Planned Parenthood 100th Anniversary Gala

More stars joined Scarlett Johnansson at the Planned Parenthood 100th Anniversary Gala on Tuesday (May 2) in New York City.

America Ferrera: The actress was thinking pink in her custom Kate Spade New York blazer and black high-waisted trousers. The peek-a-boo bra added feminine allure to the tailored look, with a bespoke Edie Parker “PP 100” clutch honouring the occasion.

Halsey: Judging from the other looks at the event, Halsey went a bit too over-the-top with this sheer, embellished Jonathan Simkhai Pre-Fall 2017 gown. Its look-at-me quality wouldn’t have been out of place on the models at the Met Gala the night before.

Grace Gummer: All attention was on this Jacquemus Spring 2017 ruched blouse and its retro polka dots, as it was styled simply with menswear-inspired, cropped trousers and clear flats. Despite the intentionally long, puff sleeves, I do wish they had appeared better tailored.
