For Love And Lemons Annual SKIVVIES Party

For Love and Lemons held their annual SKIVVIES party held at The Carondelet House on Thursday (July 31) in Los Angeles, California. If you know anything about the brand you will know that they are known for their sheer dresses that encourage you to display your skivvies, which was dutifully adhered to by the attendees.

Jena Malone: The actress, who co-hosted the event, truly embraced the brand’s ethos by wearing a pretty white point d’esprit sheer dress revealing her For Love and Lemons ‘The Bat Your Lashes’ underwear – sorry, skivvies – including satin pants and an underwired bra which both featured scalloped lace panels. I won’t lie, I am kinda digging this look. She had the personality to pull this off.

Christa B. Allen: The actress also went the white sheer route for her dress, although she selected a mini dress with a layered skirt revealing only her nude bra, not opting to go as far as daredevil Malone.

Did they embrace the brand well, or are you grossed out by this over display of undergarments?

Judy Greer In Preen - Late Show With David Letterman

Judy Greer was spotted headed into the Ed Sullivan Theater on Tuesday (July 29) in New York City for her guest appearance on ‘Late Show With David Letterman’.

Wearing her favourite red Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals for a third time, the actress look very chic donning a Preen Spring 204 sleeveless sheath dress accented with the signature lattice waist detail.

With the additional pop of colour via her red clutch, the moody print of her frock was instantly enlivened.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley posted an image on her Instagram this morning saying ‘It’s a wrap! Big thank you to my amazing @marksandspencer team for a great few days shooting in L.A’.

Heading off set looking flaw-free after a busy few days, the British model was oozing plenty of California girl cool, opting for Cali staples: a simple white tee and distressed denim shorts, which she styled with a Chloe Spring 2014 ivory jacket with a smattering of gold embroidery slung over her shoulders.

What really catches my eye here is her two-tone green Givenchy ‘Obsedia’ suede tote, which has become my must-have bag of the upcoming Fall season.

Sleek, timeless and functional, the tote is the ultimate day bag. Featuring the label’s signature logo-engraved Obsedia twist lock, this bag marks the intersection of opposites – masculine and feminine – something that recurs in Riccardo Tisci’s collections for Givenchy.

You can buy Rosie’s Givenchy Obsedia Suede Tote from MyTheresa.com and in other colours, sizes and textures from farfetch.com, Saks.com and Luisa via Roma.

Chloe Grace Moretz graces the September 2014 issue of Canadian magazine Flare – which is set to hit newsstands on August 11th and was shot by Nino Muñoz – wearing a Gucci Fall 2014 leather dress with a crystal-accented bib.

The rest of her editorial sees the blonde starlet wearing more fall fashions from the likes of Gucci, Paco Rabanne and Louis Vuitton.

Seeming very mature for her tender 17 years, the actress shares her views on dating, her fashion credo, how she chooses her projects and her ambitious attitude.

Here are some extracts from her interview.

On her dating fears: “It’s a tough age to fall in love: people change so quickly… I don’t want to have to feel like I have to watch my step, ’cause I’m 17 and I shouldn’t have to… [To my friends] I’m like, ‘Dude, you’re wasting away your entire high-school years, and now you’re going to waste away your college years. You’re going to spend your entire life in a relationship and then you’re going to get married… and then you’re dead! So you lived your life in a relationship!’ That’s not my style.”

On how the paparazzi never discover who she’s actually dating: “When you’re with someone who’s just your friend, then they take photos, but when you’re out with your boyfriend, they never find out. It’s like, ‘You guys are so dumb; you’re missing your opportunity!’”

On her fashion credo: “Just put me in whatever is fun and interesting, things that I won’t be able to wear when I’m 30.”

On the judgmental nature of the fashion world: “People say don’t judge a book by its cover, but if someone wears a crazy outfit, they’re automatically a crazy person. If you wear a tame outfit, you’re automatically a prude… You can be whoever you want through what you wear.”

On how she chooses her projects: “Only do a movie if you’d do it for free.”

On her ambitious attitude: “I’m very driven in what I do. I’m good in my business, I can talk that all day long. It’s the same when I’m acting. There’s no barriers.”

Julia Louis-Dreyfus In Paula Ka & Ports 1961 - Good Morning America & Late Show with David Letterman

Julia Louis-Dreyfus wore two looks on Thursday (July 31) for her guest appearances on ‘Good Morning America’ and the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’, opting for her favoured fitted style of dress.

Good Morning America: The day kicked off with a burst of bright pink, with the actress wearing a Paule Ka Fall 2014 sleeveless dress with a knotted waist for a glorious ladylike look, styled with L.K. Bennett ‘Anya’ black open-toe T-bar sandals with a leopard-print bow for an interesting contrast.

Letterman: Next up was a sultry LBD designed by Ports 1961 featuring a lace panel tracing the empire waist. Julia styled this look with David Yurman black-diamond jewels and Schutz strappy sandals.

I have to say I love both looks equally. She certainly knows what works best for her.
