Alicia Vikander In Louis Vuitton – ‘Euphoria’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Alicia Vikander was at the ‘Euphora’ premiere during the 2017 Toronto Film Festival on Monday (September 11).

While the film festival seems to be the place for a few red-carpet transformations, it was very much the status quo for Alicia who was dressed in Louis Vuitton, naturally.

However, what was transformative about this Resort 2018 look was the modifications made from the original tapestry dress.

Made more traditionally feminine with the revised neckline and heightened bow at the waist, it created a sweet look for the actress. But it wasn’t without its fair share of edge.

Lest it get too ladylike, the two suggestively high slits at the side hinted at a slightly more rebellious intrigue.

I love how she styled the look with bounding waves for a softly romantic finish.

Claire Foy In Tibi – ‘Breathe’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Toronto Film Festival appears to be the place to showcase your red carpet transformations.

Yesterday we had Andrea Riseborough, today we have Claire Foy.

The former blonde who had a penchant for floral dresses attended the ‘Breathe’ premiere on Monday (September 11) in Toronto, Canada looking like a different woman.

This new woman has taken a walk down the dark side, with both in hair colour and style.

Her Tibi bias cut dress, which defines sophistication with its decadent velvet fabrication and timeless silhouette, was styled with maroon velvet sandals and a Birks ‘Splash’ stackable white gold rings with diamonds.

Was this a look you could get on board with?

Octavia Spencer In Tadashi Shoji – ‘The Shape Of Water’ Toronto Film Festival Promo

It’s been a busy Toronto Film Festival for Octavia Spencer, but one thing that’s been consistent is her designer: Tadashi Shoji.

Like Venice Film Festival, the New York based designer hooked his favourite girl up in a selection of gorgeous pieces.

IMDb Studio: As Octavia tends to opt for darker hues, this sunny Tadashi Shoji top really brightened my day. I would love her to branch out and try more colours in the future as well as those fun animal print shoes.  The look was styled with a L’Dezen sliced diamond ring.

Fox Searchlight TIFF Party: Quickly reverting back to those deep dark hues she loves, this floral dress felt so fresh and vibrant. I didn’t get that same feeling from the navy dress she wore during Venice. She styled this look with deep blue velvet Jimmy Choo ‘Holly’ platforms which evoked the unbridled glamour of the ’70s.

‘The Shape Of Water’ Premiere: Her final look was beautiful. For Toronto Film Festival, cocktail dresses work within the more relaxed environment. So you’ll get no complaints from this time around about he off-the-shoulder peplum number.   I love how this look benefits from the sleek styling which included Steve Madden ‘Slithur’ shoes which I also own in yellow…naturally.

Rosamund Pike In Alexander McQueen – ‘Hostiles’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Rosamund Pike attended the ‘Hostiles’ premiere during the 2017 Toronto Film Festival on Monday (September 11).

The British actress looked utterly elegant in this floor-length gown from Alexander McQueen’s Pre-Fall 2017 collection, which showcases a mesmerizing fantasy garden within its embroidered details.

I’m sure many of you are applauding the lining of this statement piece, which Rosamund let shine without nothing but a deep rouge lip.

Some might have a slight feeling of déjà vu, but this stands alone for me.

Chloe Sevigny In Vivienne Westwood – ‘Lean On Pete’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Chloe Sevigny graced the red carpet for the Toronto Film Festival premiere of ‘Lean On Pete’ on Monday (September 11).

Seeing the title, I’m sure you thought this would be another signature Vivienne Westwood look, but Fall 2017 dress by Andreas Kronthaler gave us a break from the norm.

Admittedly there is a lot going on with so many textures, prints, fabrics and asymmetrical cuts and drapes, but Chloe appeared to be up for the challenge.

In fact not only was she up for the challenged, she opted to smash the pattern-play bar, by adding a blue tartan Vivienne Westwood bag into the mix.

Keeping her Westwood platform black was probably the smart choice her.

Angelina Jolie In Ralph & Russo – ‘First They Killed My Father’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

After her all-white outing, it was back to signature black for Angelina Jolie’s second red carpet appearance during Toronto Film Festival, for the world premiere of Netflix’s Film’s ‘First They Killed My Father’ on Monday (September 11).

The actress wore a Ralph & Russo dress crafted from satin and styled with one batwing sleeve and elegant bow detail, which hails from the designers first ready-to-wear collection which will be showcased during London Fashion Week.

I love how the asymmetrical hemline adds to the proportion play, while minimal fuss allowed for versatility when styling.

I’m sure many of you would’ve hoped that she would recreate her classic her noir and emerald moment from the 2009 Oscars, however, she selected Samer Halimeh asscher cut diamond drop earrings, plus Ralph & Russo’s classic ‘Empire’ black pumps along with their signature ‘Alina’ clutch.
