Alyssa Milano In Dolce & Gabbana – ‘Into The Woods’ World Premiere

Alyssa Milano In Dolce & Gabbana - 'Into The Woods' World Premiere

Alyssa Milano attended the ‘Into The Woods’ world premiere held at Ziegfeld Theater on Monday (December 8) in New York City.

Like Emily Blunt, Alyssa also opted to wear Dolce & Gabbana, selecting a dark-green ruched chiffon dress from the Fall 2014 accented with a tonal lace-up corset.

In a word this is unflattering.

The colour is great, the idea – in theory – was a good one, but the execution and styling let her down.

Anna Kendrick In Narciso Rodriguez – ‘Into the Woods’ World Premiere

Anna Kendrick In Narciso Rodriguez - 'Into the Woods' World Premiere

Anna Kendrick attended the world premiere of Disney’s ‘Into the Woods’ held at the Ziegfeld Theater on Monday (December 8) in New York City.

The actress looked supremely elegant wearing a Narciso Rodriguez Pre-Fall 2015 black and white silk georgette gown accented with a leather waistband.

This is the best I have seen Anna in a while. Her style has ranged from too twee to too boring recently, so I’m delighted to see her back on track wearing a look that successfully marries elegance with a contemporary edge.

Styled with a Kate Spade New York custom black satin clutch with gold hardware, diamond ear cuffs and Brian Atwood black ‘Tribeca’ sandals, the look was completed by flawless makeup and a centre-parted slicked-back do.

Does this look see her back on track for you?

Emily Blunt In Dolce & Gabbana – ‘Into The Woods’ World Premiere

Emily Blunt In Dolce & Gabbana - 'Into The Woods' World Premiere

Emily Blunt attended the ‘Into The Woods’ world premiere held at the Ziegfeld Theater on Monday (December 8) in New York City.

Considering the title of the movie, Emily’s bewitching Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2015 dress feels rather apt.

I love how the delicate point d’esprit bodice and sleeves counter the enchanting heavily rose-embroidered full skirt in this fairytale piece.

The dramatic nature of the look was amped up with a glossy red lip, with the rest of the styling including Louboutin pumps and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Serving up a double dose of Dolce, John Krasinski suited up in the Italian brand, donning a brown suit. Yep, brown suit are in my friends.

Cameron Diaz In Christian Dior – ‘Annie’ World Premiere

Cameron Diaz In Christian Dior - 'Annie' World Premiere

Cameron Diaz attended the ‘Annie’ world premiere held at the Ziegfeld Theater on Sunday (December 7) in New York City joining Rose Byrne.

While I have fully accepted that the leg-baring sex kitten has perhaps gone for good, I can’t get excited about this Dior black iridescent tweed dress with an asymmetrical hemline.

It’s just a bit, well, dull. Which is a shame because everything else about this look, including the ankle-tie Dior shoes, I really like.

Olga Kurylenko In Ralph Lauren Collection – ‘The Water Diviner’ Istanbul Premiere

Olga Kurylenko In Ralph Lauren Collection - 'The Water Diviner' Istanbul Premiere

Olga Kurylenko attended the premiere of ‘The Water Diviner’ held at the Zorlu Center PSM in Istanbul, Turkey, on Friday (December 5).

Making a late challenge for promo-tour star of the year, the actress looked breathtaking, once again, wearing a Ralph Lauren Collection white jersey long-sleeve gown.

Feminine yet modern, the exquisitely detailed design is crafted with an asymmetric neckline and a floor-sweeping flared hem, and is a sure-fire contender for BDOTW.

The double ear cuffs are perhaps a tad distracting in the close-up, yet I am still left in awe by this stunning look.

Evangeline Lilly In Reem Acra – ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies’ Mexico City Premiere

Evangeline Lilly In Reem Acra - 'The Hobbit The Battle of the Five Armies' Mexico City Premiere

Evangeline Lilly attended the Mexican premiere of ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies’ held at Auditorio Nacional on Saturday (December 6) in Mexico City, Mexico.

The actress wore Reem Acra again, this time selecting a white short-sleeve dress with floral beading from the Fall 2014 collection, which is both elegant and pretty but not quite glam enough for the premiere of a big-budget movie.

In these instances, I would say to myself, “What would Elizabeth Banks do?” The answer: Go Big.

A gold glitter Edie Parker clutch and metallic pumps completed her look.

Does this suffice or should she have kept up the same effort she showed at the London world premiere? It’s not like Reem Acra doesn’t have any gowns from which Evangeline could choose.
