‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 2 Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

There were many stylish looks to discuss at ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 2 premiere on Thursday (April 19) in Hollywood, California. Stars joined Madeline BrewerSydney SweeneyAlexis Bledel and Elisabeth Moss.

Samira Wiley: The actress took the plunge in a Galvan Resort 2018 dress. The fringing along the wrap design contrasted the sleekness of the style. The texture was cleverly picked up via her earrings.

Ever Carradine: Opting for separates, she was clad in Rachel Comey Spring 2018. The gingham style might have come across as too casual but the below-the-knee skirt and crop top help elevate it. Her Edie Parker clutch and heels also dressed it up while tying in the contrasting waistband.

Amanda Brugel: Embodying spring, the Canadian actress charmed in a Zimmermann Spring 2018 dress. The feminine, breezy air is so appealing, but there was a missed opportunity to play into the feel with her hair and accessories more. A soft updo would have showcased the details on the piece better.

Sarah Jessica Parker In Dolce & Gabbana – ‘Blue Night’ Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

Sarah Jessica Parker was back on the red carpet at the ‘Blue Night’ Tribeca Film Festival premiere on Thursday (April 19).

The last time the actress wore Dolce & Gabbana, it was an arresting statement with a glistening sequin gold dress, jewels, headpiece and cape.

For her latest outing, the outfit is much more refined.

That’s not to say that it’s boring as the style had a modern medieval feel with the velvet fabric and flared sleeves.

The grommet and cord trim is what truly makes it, enhancing her shape with the tone-on-tone design.

Gold sandals added some metallic shine.

Madeline Brewer In Carolina Herrera – ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 2 Premiere

Madeline Brewer was one of the beauties at ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 2 premiere on Thursday (April 19) in Hollywood, California. She joined Sydney SweeneyAlexis Bledel and Elisabeth Moss.

The actress brought the feminine glamour in a Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2018 dress.

There is a vintage mood, but it’s not the expected retro look. The contrasting asymmetrical neckline paired with the floral embroidery add more dimension to the ensemble.

Her accessories brought some megawatt shine. She completed the look with Hueb diamond earrings, an Abdullah Chancellor diamond ring, Gucci shoes and a Jimmy Choo clutch.

Some might wish for a black shoe, as per the lookbook. The gold ankle-strap shoes play up the yellow in the floral decoration and coordinate with the bag.

‘Westworld’ Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

The cast of ‘Westworld’ continue to make the rounds. They attended the Tribeca Film Festival premiere on Thursday (April 19) in New York City.

Evan Rachel Wood: Falling for the charms of tailored separates once again, the actress was outfitted in Mugler. The bright white jacket against the deep black top and pants has such sharpness from the contrasting shades, but it’s the smaller touches that elevate it from simple tuxedo dressing. The statement shoulders mimic the pointed toes and the embellishment on the collar echoes the buckles on the shoes.

Thandie Newton: Also opting for separates, the English actress was outfitted in a Schiaparelli suit which has such sumptuousness from the silky fabric and cranberry colour. The touches of gold and the lack of shirt enhance the sultry, glamorous mood. Pippa Small jewels completed the look.

Sydney Sweeney In Carolina Herrera – ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 2 Premiere

Sydney Sweeney joined Alexis Bledel and Elisabeth Moss at the premiere of Hulu’s ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 2 on Thursday (April 19) in Hollywood, California.

Delivering colour and drama, the actress graced the red carpet in a Carolina Herrera Spring 2018 gown.

With its dramatic layers of contrasting tulle and the drop waist, I was concerned that the style would overwhelm her petite figure, but it didn’t.

She kept her accessories understated to allow the jubilant mood of the dress to take center stage.
