Best Dressed Of The Week - Emily Blunt In Prada

Emily Blunt took home the prize for best dressed this week for her stunning red strapless Prada gown, which was just one of her looks from her red carpet repeat tour.

The streamline silhouette showed off her gorgeous post-baby figure to perfection and the pops of pink enlivened the look further.

Even with some big gowns taking to the red carpet this week, including Jolie in Atelier Versace and Fanning in Elie Saab Couture, Emily was still able to come out on top.

Best Dressed of The Week - Aishwarya Rai in Roberto Cavalli

I hope you all had a great Memorial and Bank Holiday weekend.

BDOTW was very hard this week, with several BDOTY contenders on this week’s list.

My finger hovered over Jessica Chastain in Atelier Versace, Aishwarya Rai in Roberto Cavalli, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Gucci Première and Sonam Kapoor in Anamika Khanna before settling on Aishwarya Rai.

Purely because the drama of the look was on another level – and by your votes it would appear you agree – plus, the dress still gives me goosebumps a week on, and it’s not often I can say that about a re-run.

When it came to the fellas our opinions differed. You went for Ryan Gosling in Gucci sans tie, whereas my heart said Channing Tatum, as always, but my head said James McAvoy in Burberry Tailoring.

Hmmm…this is going to be a lot harder than I thought with at least 4 BDOTY contenders included here.

With so much going on this weekend I almost forgot to announce who was best dressed of the week.

Well, it was a two-way tie between Blake Lively in Gucci Première and Blake Lively in Gucci Première. While I believed her opening ceremony gown was the better of the two, it would appear you guys loved them both equally.

My choice was the great Cate Blanchett in Armani Privé. What can I say; it’s a match made in fashion heaven.

When it came to the fellas, you gave Ryan Reynolds in Gucci the top honour this week. I, on the other hand, was swept away by Benedict Cumberbatch in his impeccable Ralph Lauren Black Label suit.
