I did adore this heart-shaped chiffon one-shouldered Marc Jacobs Resort 2009 dress Victoria Beckham wore to the CFDA Awards this week. Even that back was incredibly cute.

For someone as stylist as Victoria, this was the first time I liked what she wore on the red carpet.

As usual Victoria’s off the red carpet attire was chic and sophisticated.

I love her two tiered grey skirt - and yes that is yet another new Birkin - which she wore to lunch with her gorgeous husband.

When Victoria step out for her meeting at Conde Nast, everything, excluding the Alexander McQueen shoes and the Hermes Lydie, is Prada. I guess she was hoping to bump into Anna Wintour in reception, so they could wax lyrical about their love for the brand.

This was a very easy decision this week.

Sarah Jessica Parker looked like a beautiful mermaid in her Nina Ricci Spring 2008 gown with Fred Leighton jewels.

SJP had 40 outfits planned for the movie’s premieres in London and Berlin, and the press junkets. Oh how I envy her.

After the New York premiere, Sarah Jessica Parker was very disappointed to learn that someone else had already worn her dress, when the fashion house had told her that no-one else had.

SJP is peeved to say the least. You can read all about the drama here.

With Cate Blanchett returning to the red carpet this week, I was so tempted to give her Best Dressed Of The Week, but it’s Leighton Meester who really deserved it.

She started off the week wearing Christian Dior. On Tuesday she changed 4 times, for 4 different events starting at MTV’s TRL and then changing into Chloe, Monique Lhuillier and Temperley London and on Wednesday she attended the NYLON party in Zac Posen.

A few weeks ago I said that Leighton is becoming the one-to-watch, now she is the one-to-watch.

No matter what the occasion, Leighton’s style, hair, shoes and accessories are all total perfection, as she takes complete ownership of what she is wearing and does not try too hard, nor is she a fashion victim.

There are many ladies that have been on the red carpet longer than her, and are not even half way to were she is.

From chic, to couture, to sophisticated to edgy, no matter what the event Camilla Belle has not disappointed this week.

Camilla was Best Dressed in most fashion watchers polls for the Costume Institute Gala.

She has been a model ambassador for Giorgio Armani at both his Saks Fifth Avenue visit were he attended the opening of the expanded Giorgio Armani Beauty counter, and when Giorgio received the Couture Council’s Global Fashion Leadership Award. She also looked amazing in a -hard to pull off- Miu Miu Fall 2008 ensemble.

In the 80s my girl crush was Madonna, the 90s it was Mariah Carey, early 00s it was Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce, now Camilla Belle….and Cate Blanchett of course.

I adore her.

Apart from Gwyneth Paltrow there was not much to wow about on the red carpet this week. Michelle Monaghan had a great week, but nearly all her dresses were black.

The only dress that really stood out for me was this white belted Nathan Jenden Spring 2008 dress which Brit singer Leona Lewis wore to the MTV Australia Awards.

I loved the pouffy skirt and her confident smile, which is rare on the usually shy singer.

She is so beautiful.

I am sure you all would have guessed I would give Best Dressed to Gwyneth Paltrow this week, and that is because she gave a red carpet masterclass whilst in Europe promoting Iron Man.

I hope other actresses were taking notes.

I loved and was a little surprised over her daring dresses by Balmain, Sonia Rykiel, Dsquared2, Jean Paul Gaultier, Stella McCartney, but I think most of us developed a shoe fetish this week.

Alexander McQueen, Christian Louboutin, Givenchy and a little known shoe maker named Paccini stole the show, as they all had 5ins or above heels.

Needless to say I have been out looking for those Givenchy open-toe shoe boots, and you will not be surprised to know that they are sold out.

The thought of a brown floral dress, does not at all sound appealing.

But after seeing the gorgeous Joy Bryant wearing this brown Missoni one-shouldered dress, I see how perfectly it can work, that is why Joy has won Best Dressed Of The Week.
