During her
MTV era, Jenny McCarthy’s dress sense consisted of crop tops, mini skirts, or just bikini’s.
She has grown up a lot since then. She has become a mother, and is now in a stable relationship with funny man Jim Carrey.
This week she arrived looking hot in a Herve Leger one-shouldered dress to the WWE Smackdown Autism event in Washington.
On Thursday night she looked even better in a black RM by Roland Mouret knee length fitted dress.
She went from sexy to chic in a week. Jenny has never looked better.
I did consider America Ferrera this week, but Jenny impressed me more.

Lucy Liu had a very busy week traveling from Tokyo to LA, promoting both
Kung Fu Panda and
Dirty Sexy Money.
She was consistent throughout the whole week, in an array of stunning dresses.
My personal favourite was the Bill Blass ivory dress.

Very easy choice for me this week.
Claire Danes, the new face of Gucci’s fine jewelery advertising campaign, was positively radiant at the Gucci Resort 2009 Fashion Show in Rome this week.
The glossy haired actress wore a stunning sparkling taupe Gucci Pre Fall 2008 dress with matching strappy sandals.
Kelly Rowland was a close second in her stunning Ralph Lauren gown and Dolce & Gabbana dress.

Eva Mendes proved she was worthy of her front row seat at the
Christian Dior Fall 2008 Couture show in Paris this week, by wearing this candy coloured
Christian Dior Fall 2008 embellished dress.
Who would have thought that orange and pink could work so well together?

I know many of you were canvassing for Leona Lewis for
Best Dressed this week, but I had to give it to Lucy Liu.
I was a big fan of the many different cocoon-like shapes on the runway for the Giambattista Valli Fall 2008 collection, and I love how this dress has been interpreted to fit Lucy Liu’s style and petite frame.
It truly is a masterpiece, and Lucy wears it so well, it could be considered as a couture dress.

Don’t pretend you did not see this one coming.
Charlize Theron did not put a foot wrong this week. Head to toe perfection….I wished it would never end.
She started off the week wearing Dior, on Tuesday she opted for Christian Lacroix, Wednesday - my favourite - Balenciaga and on Thursday she wore Giambattisa Valli.
I don’t know if she can top this for the US premiere, but I hope she does.

There was not one specific dress that particularly stood out this week, so I have picked Zooey Deschanel as
Best Dressed this week, as she was very consistent with the spotlight on her this week.
For The Happening New York premiere, and her appearance on Letterman, the actress wore modified dresses from Christian Dior and Monique Lhuillier respectively.
I particularly loved the retro look she was channeling in her champagne tiered Monique Lhuillier dress, which was completed with ruby red lips.
