Ewan McGregor In Vivienne Westwood MAN – ‘The Impossible’ London Premiere

Ewan McGregor joined co-star Naomi Watts on the red carpet last night for the London premiere of their latest movie, ‘The Impossible’.

The Scottish actor wore a Vivienne Westwood MAN Fall 2012 suit which slightly differs from the suit presented on the runway.

His look features a single-breasted check wool tailored notched-lapel jacket with asymmetrical button fastenings, which is a typical Westwood quirk, paired with matching tapered pants with a single-button coin pocket.

Ewan’s style is, at its core, very masculine, hence the rugged punched Oxford footwear with his fine suit.

A much needed scarf on a bitterly cold night in London completed his look.

I love it! This is one of my fav gents looks actually – because its stylist but with a twist of his own that totally works!

Ruggedly stylish. LOVE the scarf. BDOTW in the men’s department.

I love the way McGregor works a foulard. It’s his statement piece. At first I wasn’t crazy about the shoes with this outfit, but actually, it makes sense. It highlights the more rugged aspects of the look, like the plaid and his beard.

I’m usually indifferent to Ewan, but he absolutely wowed me this time. He just looks SO GOOD! I love it from H2T!

Love it from the ankles up. Just can’t get past brown shoes with a grey suit.

Thanks for the menswear eye candy, FC. Always love to see the gents.

I LOVE this suit (but would always wonder somewhere in the back of my head if there isn’t a button missing.. 😉 )

Definitely far and away better than the runway, lol.

Great suit but looks silly with scarf around his neck. Could he not have worn a topcoat?

I love this so much. I may be in the minority but i really love the shoes with this look.

I adore this. Who says you can’t make a completely classic suit interesting?! It was a great weeks for menswear last week, and this tops each of those looks. (I am having a hard time taking my eyes off the model’s above-the-neck look, though. Strangely difficult to look away, maybe because it doesn’t compute?)

great look, BDOTW worthy in the gents department.
I love how the suit has a double colour lining, details like that make it special.
