Chloe Moretz also attended the 2011 National Board Of Review Awards Gala in New York City last night.
Like Rooney Mara, the young actress chose a look from the Miu Miu Resort 2012 collection, wearing a red satin overcoat with peplum details. Chloe fashioned the coat as a dress, cinching it with a thin black belt.
The look was styled with red glitter sandals and a pearl-and-crystal headband, as seen in the original Miu Miu lookbook.
It’s nice to see the teen star dressing age appropriate, and smiling on the red carpet, rather than her usual oversetting pout.

Not the biggest fan of this dress and I think it’s overwhelming her.
+1 Glad to see that the pout is gone but this isn’t the best look for her. I’m not really a fan of red satin anyway. Where’s Hailee Steinfeld been lately? I want to see some more of her looks!
It looks like she’s drowning in the fabric a little. And that black belt wouldn’t have been my first… or second choice.
I agree.
She looks very cute in it. It’s stylish and well suited fir her age.
I like it.
Not the most flattering photo angle, I think. Do like the overcoat and the addition of the black belt, and the sandals – “youthful chic”- but could´ve lived without the sweetening touches via the crystal headband and hairstyle. Would´ve preferred a simple playful high ponytail instead, and a clutch.
