On The “I Don’t Know How She Does It” Set With Sarah Jessica Parker In Marc By Marc Jacobs

Last week Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted out in New York City filming scenes for her upcoming movie, “I Don’t Know How She Does It.”

She was looking relaxed on set wearing a Marc by Marc Jacobs Michaela silk shirt dress from the Fall 2011 collection.

The retro shirt dress has lady-like touches such as the pussy bow necktie which SJP opted to wear loose.

It may not be immediately obvious, but the skirt has an asymmetrical hemline as it sits slightly higher at the front.

Simple black pumps completed the look.

Since seeing this dress on SJP, I’m now keen to add it to my closet.

I would love to wear it as she has with the sleeves rolled up and I would add a gold thin belt to the dress.

Hailee Steinfeld for Miu Miu vs Elle Fanning for Marc by Marc Jacobs Ad Campaigns

Fall 2011 ad campaigns have started to be unveiled, but the one’s that stand out are by Miu Miu and Marc by Marc Jacobs, who chose two up and coming teenage actresses to front their campaigns.

Miu Miu have featured Oscar-nominated actress Hailee Steinfeld in their campaign after the young star has worn the brand to several events including this years’ BAFTA Awards and the Young Hollywood Awards.

The 14 year old actress has also worn Miu Miu’s big sister Prada on several occasions, most notably to the SAG Awards.

This campaign was shot by renowned photographer Bruce Weber who captured the young star looking like a seasoned professional.

It’s a beautiful photo which suits the vibe of the collection very well.

Marc by Marc Jacobs chose 13 year old ‘Super 8’ actress Elle Fanning for their Fall 2011 campaign.

This is a striking image shot by Juergen Teller who also captures the young actress in an outdoor setting.

Elle is a brilliant choice for these ads and I love the intensity of her stare.

It’s ironic how she also attended the Young Hollywood Awards wearing the brand in which she represents in this ad.

Elle has also worn the also worn Marc Jacobs on several occasions, most recently to the Women In Film Crystal + Lucy Awards.

Both photographs are amazing, so it’s extremely hard to choose a favourite.

Hailee’s ad feels more high fashion, whilst Elle’s is classic Marc by Marc Jacobs and represents the brand perfectly.

If I had to pick I would go with Miu Miu’s, as I adore the styling of the clothes and the rural setting.

Blake Lively In Marc by Marc Jacobs – 2011 Ghetto Film School Spring Benefit

Blake Lively attended the 2011 Ghetto Film School Spring Benefit at The Standard in New York City on Monday evening.

Taking a break from hanging out with her new beau Leonardo DiCaprio, the strawberry blonde ‘Gossip Girl’ actress opted to wear a casual Marc by Marc Jacobs Resort 2012 look for the occasion.

She paired a ‘Omosa’ sparkling sweater with a ‘Mimosa’ lame ruffled skirt.

Christian Louboutin ‘Fifi’ sequined pumps completed her look.

Blake sure does love showing off her legs.

Elle Fanning In Marc by Marc Jacobs – 2011 Young Hollywood Awards

Just OK Awards
Elle Fanning collected the ‘Film Actress of the Year Award” at the 2011 Young Hollywood Awards, which was held on Friday in LA.

She looked cute wearing a Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2011 dress, but I wasn’t as wowed or excited by her as I have been in the past.

The sleeveless black satin blouse with a ruffled white collar was teamed blacks shorts.

Elle added black Oxfords shoes with gold metal hardware from the same collection.

A pink shimmery lip shade completed her look.

I wish this look was more summery.

Sidewalk Style: Jennifer Love Hewitt In Marc by Marc Jacobs

This picture of Jennifer Love Hewitt has me longing for the summer when I can finally wear my strappy sandals and all those summer dresses I have been buying since the end of the winter sales.

The ‘Ghost Whisperer’ actress was spotted out in Beverly Hills yesterday wearing a Marc by Marc Jacobs colour-block dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

Her colourful summery dress was styled with some equally colourful accessories.

A Christian Louboutin ‘Talita’ bag and Christian Louboutin Straratata suede sandals completed her look.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2011

On Tuesday I attended by first Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2011 presentation at the Armory.

The 70s inspired collection feature beautiful cozy knits, printed dressed, striped dresses, tweed wide leg pants, poncho, jumpsuits, calf length skirts, a metallic copper jacket, fur coats and silk blouses.

The Fall rich colour palette included shades of green, burnt orange, mustard and camel.

Key accessories included lust-worthy shearling lined ankle boots, leather satchels, patent wedge boots, brogues, floppy hats and gold bracelets with cone-shaped accents.

This collection feels like the Marc by Marc Jacobs girl has grown up. There are many easy wearable pieces in this lady-like collection which I’m sure we will all be coveting.

Favourites: Purple printed blouse with matching pants and orange printed top with contrast print skirt

Who I See Wearing This Collection: Liv Tyler, Sophia Bush, Camille Belle, Debra Messing, Marcia Cross, Shenae Grimes and Emma Roberts

Heathrow Airport – Victoria Beckham In Marc by Marc Jacobs

Victoria Beckham is apparently on vacation.

I say apparent, because she seems to be spending more time on a plane traveling between London and Nice than relaxing with her family.

The tired looking designer wore a very summery Marc by Marc Jacobs bow-print dress from the Resort 2010 collection.

It’s such a cute summery dress with playful bows, but dear lord did she have to wear those Trib Two’s with it.

Colourwise they complement the dress, but they weigh down this look quite heavily.

I know she has a few issues with her feet, but cute strappy sandals would’ve been preferred.

The designer wore a Anita Ko rose gold and diamond spike bracelet, plus shades to cover up those tired eyes.
