Daphne Guinness In Alexander McQueen – 2011 Met Gala

Daphne Guinness made a dramatic entrance on the red carpet at the 2011 Met Gala – as expected.

She opted for a feathered Alexander McQueen Spring 2011 frock.

The lilac creation with exaggerated hips was worn with silver Mary Janes. I had hoped she would wear the armadillo shoes from the Spring 2011 collection.

Her statement gown was accessorized with tasseled earrings and styled with her signature blonde and black updo hairstyle.

Ginnifer Goodwin In Topshop – 2011 Met Gala

I bet you never thought you’d see a Topshop dress at the 2011 Met Gala.

Ginnifer Goodwin was one of the best dressed of the night wearing a custom Topshop Unique green silk twist front gown.

The long sleeve gown has some sexy cut-out details around the waist and a thigh-high split.

Her dress was paired with a stunning necklace with green and turquoise.

Navy Aperlai ‘Karine’ heels with cream and turquoise straps and a Kotur navy clutch completed her look.

I love her eye make-up. It’s very complement to her look without being too overbearing.

Ciara In Prabal Gurung – 2011 Met Gala

I was surprised to see Ciara not in Givenchy at the 2011 Met Gala, but I’m thankful that she switched things up.

On this occasion she opted for a Prabal Gurung Fall 2011 gown.

The ombre silver and ivory hand-painted silk chiffon and organza hand-braided gown is breath-taking.

Ciara’s dress is so romantic, yet she’s giving off a sexy vibe.

The dress is accessorized with a beautiful jeweled cuff to add an edge to the look.

I love her long wavy hair, smoky eyes and nude lips.

Blake Lively In Chanel Couture – 2011 Met Gala

There was no doubt that Blake Lively was going to wear Chanel at the 2011 Met Gala which was held in New York City tonight.

The ‘Gossip Girl’ actress wore a look from the Chanel Fall 2009 Couture collection.

I know some of you will say I’m biased but I think she looked fabulous in this Grecian-inspired draped dress with an illusion bodice and silver pailette embroidered.

It’s not the short dress with a plunging neckline many would’ve expected from Blake, but she totally owns this look.

Christian Louboutin ‘Anna’ heels completed her look.
