Kristen Stewart In Elle UK June 2012

Kristen Stewart appears on the cover of Elle UK’s June 2012 issue.

The actress, who is gearing up for the release of her latest movie, ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’, sports a 60s inspired hairdo whilst wearing a Jil Sanders Spring 2012 knitted two piece on the cover shot by David Slijper.

In the magazine she talks about her style choices, whether she sees herself as a director someday, and when she’s the happiest – I’m guessing in jeans, a t-shirt and converse sneakers.

The issue hits newsstands on May 2. Here are some extracts from her interview.

On being a role model: “I don’t apply [being a role model] to the choices I make. I feel like a role model is not necessarily somebody you want to imitate, just someone you admire.”

On her love of acting: “It’s a physical thing. I f***ing love everything about [acting]. I love movies, I love what they do. I am just so fueled by it like nothing else.”

On her choice in clothing: “I just wear very functional clothes. When I’m in London I feel so dressed down and young and Californian. Even if I try to look nice when I go out for dinner, I just don’t have that thing. I will always wear no socks in be like, ‘F***, it’s freezing; what am I doing?'”

On whether she’d like to direct: “I want to direct movies. Sometimes I think, ‘God, I want to do that, I want to do that next.’ But then I work with someone who’s great at what they do and I think, ‘I’m not there yet.'”

On when she’s really happy: “In my car with the right friend – I like to drive and I love being in LA, it always feels like, ‘Ahhhhh.’ So I would say if the right song came on, windows down, that’s a great feeling. To just be excited to be moving, to be like, ‘Here we are.'”

On how she’d describe herself: “I don’t know. I was going to say that I really like what I do. I really love what I do. I think the most interesting part of me, literally, is what I do.”

Brooklyn Decker For Flare June 2012

Brooklyn Decker graces the cover for the June 2012 issue of Canada’s best selling magazine, FLARE.

The ‘Battleship’ actress was shot by Max Abadian channelling sporty chic wearing a Peter Pilotto top and skirt on the cover which we’ve seen worn by Miranda Kerr on the red carpet.

Inside the magazine, Decker shows off her sexy side in a tropical-print Altuzarra vest with matching pants and a black cropped wool bra top by Dolce & Gabanna.

The supermodel-turned-blockbuster-actor talks about body image, her evolving sense of style and why her dream is to adopt a child with special needs as she’s inspired by her love for an aunt who is a Special Olympics athlete.

On her goal of adopting: “We plan to have children some day. But I also dream of adopting a child with special needs. That’s in the distant future, but that’s always been a goal of mine.” Read More…

Victoria Beckham For Harper’s Bazaar UK May 2012

Victoria Beckham graces the cover of Harper’s Bazaar UK’s May 2012 issue which also celebrates Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee, marking her 60th year on the throne.

The Queen of Fashion – that’s Victoria – was shot by Camilla Akrans wearing a Prada Spring 2012 bodysuit.

These bodysuits have already appeared in many editorials, which is not surprising considering it would take someone like Rihanna, Katy Perry or Fergie to bring these pieces alive on the red carpet.

In the magazine Victoria talks about motherhood, how she feels about her body and what it’s like to go to bed with David Beckham – hopefully she goes into detail.

The May issue of Harper’s Bazaar goes on sale Monday 2nd April.

Carey Mulligan wears just a Nina Ricci raffia tweed jacket and cotton bra on the cover of the January 2012 issue of W magazine.

Carey’s high dramatically editorial, shot by Michael Thompson was given a 60s theatrical styling treatment by Edward Enninful.

The editorial sees her wearing Louis Vuitton, the one person who I hope will bring this Spring 2012 collection alive on the red carpet, Prada, Miu Miu, Jean Paul Gaultier and Rochas.

In her interview the British actress talks about nude scenes and her unsettling and haunting new film, ‘Shame’.

Here are some extracts.

On her nude scene: “I’ve never, never been naked in a film before; I’ve been topless once or twice, but always in sort of very innocent ways. And I’ve always been sort of staunchly feminist about it, I’ve never relished the idea of doing it, and never if it was inappropriate or gratuitous in any way. But I just felt it was absolutely right; that’s exactly who she was. She wanted to be seen, she’s an exhibitionist and she’s provocative.” Read More…

It is so liberating to really know what I want, what truly makes me happy, what I will not tolerate. I have learned that it is no one else’s job to take care of me but me.”

On motherhood: “It was important to me that I gave myself time to focus on becoming the woman I want to be, building my empire, my relationship, and my self-worth, before I became a mother. Now God has blessed us with the ultimate.”

On maternity style: “All I see now are clothes that are flattering on a pregnant woman. It’s been so exciting for me! I love figuring out designs that still make me feel edgy and sexy while pregnant. Flowy fabrics are always flattering, but I still rock my stilettos.”

On showing the world a different side: “If you speak to my friends who’ve known me since I was four, they’ll say, ‘That is her.’ They always said to me, ‘You’re the dirtiest person in the world and so funny. Show the world that side of you.’ I felt guarded. I felt like if I really showed people more of me and I was still not accepted, then…Who cares. You just realize it doesn’t matter what people think of you.” Read More…
