Who Wore Miu Miu Better…Yao Chen or Elle Fanning?

Who Wore Miu Miu Better Yao Chen or Elle Fanning

Yao Chen wore a black-and-white musical-note print Miu Miu Resort 2014 mini dress to the premiere of her latest flick ‘Firestorm’ back in December.

Styled with fiery Sergio Rossi heels and sleek tresses, her look couldn’t have been more appropriately styled.

Elle Fanning wore the same dress last month, adding a white Rodarte Fall 2012 leather jacket and ankle boots, which killed the look for me.

Toughening up this look wasn’t the way to go, so Yao Chen wins for me.

Yao Chen. Even though the dress and the shoes don’t work together, her styling is still preferred to Elle’s styling.

Yao Chen’s shoes are of course the very best item in both these pictures, but they are also the odd ones out here. Can’t remember a worse dress/shoes combo in a while. So just to give it to her on the basis of the shoes alone is out of the question. I’m inclined to give this to Elle. The dress indeed suits a teen better. Her styling isn’t great, although I think a lot of non-celebrity teens and tweens would simply have styled it just like this.

I vote for Yao because her shoes are ON FIRE!!!

I vote for Yao Chen’s fierce shoes alone, too bad they have nothing to do with that cute girly little dress. However, the dress is better suited to 15 y.o. Elle (than more mature Yao, it’s a bit too twee for her), but she unfortunately ruined it with her styling.
