Emmy Rossum In Donna Karan Atelier – 2013 Met Gala

When Emmy Rossum arrived on the 2013 Met Gala red carpet in New York City, I have to say I barely recognized her.

The actress fully embraced her inner punk princess with a Donna Karan Atelier gown—and a bold beauty look to go with it.

The sheer, diaphanous dress trended more on the pretty side. After all, it still had beads, sequins and paillettes, as opposed to pins, spikes and studs.

Far more aggressive was her messy braided faux-hawk and a super-shadowed, exaggerated smokey eye.

Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and Iritdesign jewels, including a collection of knuckle rings and neck-grazing statement earrings, completed Emmy’s rebellious entrance.
