Not a fan of the red lips, I saw them before I saw Emma. Other than that, beautiful.

What a dish. She rarely lets me down. The dress is so gorgeous. She looks impeccable. The shoes are bothering me though.

LOVE! Elie Saab is so amazing! I love that Emma wore this dress with the silver sandals. Definitely a BDOTW contender!

Love the shoes! I just wish that the waistline was an inch lower–but that’s just the style of the dress. Emma looks great although I prefer softer hair. I’ve been back and forth between this look and the white one–I think I like the white one better as my final choice.

she looks sensational, i love her hair and make up but i wish she would have chosen another shoes. they feel out of place. still, BDOTW worthy.

I like the runway version better – unless it’s just the light on the runway, I prefer the blue tint. and I love the runway shoes. Having said that,Emma looks great regardless.

    Fabulous – absolutely BDOTW worthy.

Thank you so much for posting this,I was sure I would love it in any photo other than the first one, which was so unflattering. I still think that there is a lack of congruency with the lipstick and the look, the shoes give off an airy, princessy vibe, while the lipstick is vampy. It’s still a great look, up there with SJP and Rachel Adams this week for sure.

I think the shoes are awful. The dress is dreamy, and the shoes clunky! The shoes worn by the model were much better with the dress, I think, and that’s partly because the Jimmy Choos are really, dare I say it, boring in themselves?

    • Linda December 8, 2011 at 15:29 #

You know, you’re right about the shoes upon second glance. Still a wonderful look though.

She is cute, and her style is great. This is someone who I would describe as Flawless, sensational, etc.

Yeah, she sets the bar high for great style.

  24. nina December 8, 2011 at 14:05 #

    gorgeous, BDOTW really worthy

  25. PBea December 8, 2011 at 13:58 #

I really like the dress, but not the way she wears it! I think that she have too much large shoulders to look great in it.
(I’m sorry if my english is not good, but I’m italian and I’m learning the languege!)

  26. Anna RIos December 8, 2011 at 13:56 #

I like her version better than the runway one…beautiful

  27. Nat December 8, 2011 at 13:55 #

I love the colour of this dress and the details on its upper part.
When in doubt, just wear an Elie Saab dress. You (almost) can’t get it wrong.

The only thing about this look that I’m not really fond of is the shade of her lipstick, but that’s just a small detail.
    BDOTW-worthy, for sure.
