Lea Michele took the red carpet for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 2011 Installation Luncheon which was held at the Beverly Hills Hotel in California yesterday.
Unlike her Glee co-star Dianna Agron, Lea is dressing for the summer.
She wore a beautiful Valentino Resort 2012 dress.
The floral print chiffon dress with flutter sleeves was teamed with a white Jimmy Choo ‘Cosma’ clutch and nude Prada peep-toes.
Wavy brunette locks, Dana Rebecca’s Emily Sarah earrings and Kara Ackerman’s Talulah Eternity Stacking rings completed her look.
I love this look because it’s simple, easy and effortless without a tint of try-hard.

I also don’t like the sleeves and neckline – she is too broad to wear dainty puff sleeves.
wow, she actually looks cute for once! i like her hair & her dress isn’t that bad…
I don’t like it – there is nothing wrong with it per say but as with all of Lea’s looks this bores me. She always looks very generic.
I love the dress, but the shoulders are too heavy on her.
not liking what it’s doing to her shoulders, and the hair is boring.
I’m pretty relieved that she’s stopped trying so hard, but this outfit screams ‘mum’ to me. It’s so unfortunate, because I’m still rooting really hard for her.
Love that clutch, ahh it’s TDF. The shoes could be better though. Great look from Lea but far from her best. I love her the most when she brings the drama.
Gorgeous. I really hope she doesnt go all DIVA on us for the Emmys or the Glee Premiere this weekend.
I secretly hope she does. I find it very entertaining despite it being annoying 😉
Oh god, I find it really embarrassing. I feel like her mother, telling her to put more clothes on and stop pouting, 🙂
I love it! The dress is so so pretty, plus she has beautiful skin and hair. I love it when she doesn’t try too hard.
Beautiful — one of the best looks this week.
Love this dress even though it’s being worn by Lea Michele (she grates on m nerves). But someone please feed the model in the left picture. lol
I’m bored. I’m sure the dress is gorg in person but the pics fall flat. The whole look is a bit doubty to me & i’d expect to see an older lady walk into my church wearing something similar.
This. It looks like something you could buy from a Ross Dress for Less (which I’ve bought a lot of dresses from, to be honest) and it’s just .. eh. Plus the sleeves bother me.
I agree with both of you (AW and Jen). For me it also brings back flashes of clothes circa the 2001/2002 era…
So refreshing from Lea. Right dress for a day event and she didn’t kill it with OTT posing. On the other hand, I feel like some of her pictures in the Harper’s Bazaar feauture went OTT with the posing, but that’s Lea for you I guess.
Love it!
BDOTW contender.
