Beyonce Knowles In Alexandre Vauthier Couture – 2011 Glastonbury Festival

Beyonce Knowles was the headline act a Glastonbury Festival yesterday.

She’s one of the few women to headline the festival in the past 40 years.

The American superstar turned on the fireworks (literally) as she addressed the 50,000 strong crowd with, “Glastonbury, are you ready?” before shaking her booty to the opening number “Crazy In Love.”

Her 90-minute set included a string of her biggest hits, including “Single Ladies”, “Halo”, “Naughty Girl”, “If I Was A Boy” and “Baby Boy”, for which she was joined on stage by Bristolian artist Tricky.

She also performed a medley of Destiny’s Child songs, as well as paying tribute to several other artists, with her own versions of Alanis Morissette’s “You Oughta Know”, the Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams” was mashed with “Beautiful Nightmare” and she also performed Kings of Leon’s “Sex On Fire.”

The singer appeared to be truly humbled by the experience, saying on many occasion that she was so happy to be there.

Bey left little to the imagination wearing an Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2010 mini dress.

Her gold long sleeve sequined dress (worn more like a top) was embellished with Swarovski crystals and teamed with a pair of hot pants, black sparkling booties and a gold buckle belt.

Despite the pleas on Twitter Beyonce didn’t change into another look.

Her cheering squad included hubby Jay-Z and BFF Gwyneth Paltrow.

Great dress for a performance but the runway version (length) would have been more refined, we know about your butt, Beyoncé, there’s no need to remind us every time. Glastonbury is about music, not panties.

She looked and sounded absolutely amazing at this concert. This look was perfect and while she was dancing with her girls, crazy toned legs and all, she looked incredible.

I still can’t believe she danced for 2 hours in those heels. She’s the perfect costumer for couture, she will wear it onstage, at events, videos and so on, she’s perfect for it. And it seems like such a natural progression, it’s not forced or anything.

Pretty dress, but the black panties and the booty hanging out are just tacky.

Beyonce is amazing! I hate when in concerts the performers go in for what seems like a million costume changes! Her singing was amazing! I loved when she sang Irreplacable. And it was amazing when she went down to the crowd.. She puts so much emotion into her performances. Best performer of this century so far!

Bey is a super superstar. Amazing how she rarely leaves the stage. Even the dancers get a break. I love the look, its so her.

Not feeling the new albumn though.

I love this for a performance! I can imagine that even the people in the very last row could see her movements. The top (dress) is beautiful and the boots are fierce, I can’t imagine running around on stage in them for 90 minutes!

Not an ounce of Tacky Tina to be seen.

Yeah, last row saw her dance movements, front row saw her lady parts. It’s ok for a stage costume, but God forbid anyone tries to wear this as a dress on the street.

    I like her hair.
