Whitney Port In GUiSHEM – Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Party

Whitney Port was one of the many star guests to attend the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Party in LA last night.

The reality TV star/designer opted to wear a GUiSHEM Spring 2011 dress.

Her one shoulder ivory dress with lime, grey and purple inserts was paired with electric blue Giuseppe Zanotti platforms.

Everything about this look works so well for Whitney. She has great legs to go this short.

I do wish she’d work her hair up.

The hair and the dress don’t really work well together. To me they are telling two very different stories.

Yeah, I agree about the shoes. I still like the dress though, and I don’t really mind her hair.

i dont like this at all. the shoes dont work at all with the dress.

Also i dont like the material of the dress, does the fabric look cheap to anyone else?

I love the dress and the idea of the coloured shoes, but I think these shoes might be just a bit too detailed for this dress. A simpler sandal in this shade would have been divine, but that circular shape over the foot plays against the angular details on the dress.

I love her hair like that, it makes the whole look a lot more casual

    Are her earrings heartshaped?

I love both the shoes and the dress but not together…ahh

Those shoes look like Salzburgs by Louboutin, no?

I love this look, I think she has really great and interesting style, adn I like the shock of the shoes, not everything ahs to be super pretty all the time, and I like the interesting edge they bring. I find it really difficult to remember her ever being part of the hills, which is a very good thing.

    I like it. BDOTW

She hardly wears her own “designs”.

For me, the problem is not her hair but her shoes.
I applaud her for original choice of footwear but they really don’t work with this dress. I’d would have preferred simpler and plum/yellow colored shoes.
But I really do like her dress and earrings.

I was just going to say what you stated here I also think the shoes don’t go with dress. I like the hair, dress and earrings.

My thoughts exactly! The shoes really do ruin this look for me, and I also think purple pumps would have gone MUCH better with it…

FC, are those sandals Louboutins, similar in style to the ones Blake Lively wore a few weeks back??
(Btw, absolutely adore your site!! Well done :D) x

I totally agree. I appreciate the effort but the shoes don’t work too well.
