January 20, 2011 Runway To Red Carpet

Whitney Port In Whitney Eve – Special K ‘What Will You Gain When Your Lose’ Event

Do not adjust your monitors.

This really is Whitney Port wearing her own Whitney Eve Spring 2011 collection.

The reality TV rarely wears her own collections, so this is a big deal.

Why she never wears her own collection more often I will never understand, because she looks adorable wearing this orange sorbet Whitney Eve Spring 2011 ensemble.

She wore it to the Special K ‘What Will You Gain When Your Lose’ event in Los Angeles this week.

The striped button down skirt was paired with a peachy top and animal print ballet flats.

I totally loved this look until I reached the shoes.

I’m all for animal print, but they don’t work for me with this spring time fresh look.

I noticed the shoes because of the top, if she had a different top lke the model then the shoes could of slighty passed…Overall it’s the top that lets the outfit down.

I agree with you, FC, about thes shoes. I lobe animal prints too but with this peachy ensemble… But I’m not a fan of her, she looks better when she’s very casual, wearing jeans… I don’t think she dresses well.

I am the Queen of Animal Prints, but you have to know when to wear them and what to wear them. The shoes are too heavy for the light colored outfit. And, the fact that they’re flats doesn’t help her cause at all.
I would have rather seen the complete runway look. I’m not fond of the t-shirt.

I actually quite like the shoes. I think they add a sense of whimsy to the look. I adore this. <3

Cute. She should promote her own collection!!

    lovely look!
    it’s a pity for the shoe’s choice

It seems I stand alone on this one. But, I like the shoes (and, needless to say, the rest of the outfit as well). They give a nice contrast to the peachy-nude look.

She should have worn the top and shoes from the runway.

      Totally agree!

I adore this look, I was actually wondering where it was from before you mentioned it. Although I am surprised she doesn;t wear it mroe often, I suppose, given that she is famous from a reality show, she doesn’t want to seem to desperate and self-promoting. She has great style, but the shoes jsut make me sad.

    disappointed about the shoes though….cringe!

totally agree with you on that…Was shocked when I saw the picture…every designer wears their own clothing I do not understand why she does not do the same. At least this is a start…Thank God for that…who else can promote her clothing so well but her….

She looks cute; I agree she should have worn her line more often especially during her tv show.

Lol FC you are like the “Shoe Inspector”.

I am…a look isn’t complete without great shoes.

This is really pretty, fresh and takes years off her… shame about the mis-matched shoes!

I didn’t like the animal print flats either. I actually really like her collection- it is cute and pretty and defied expectations. I wish more people would wear it.

Thank Goodness. I am glad she finally got with it.
With her style she always has on one ugly item.
