Chanel Spring 2011 Press Day

It’s always so much fun to attend a Chanel press day because I get to torture myself with all the lust-worthy bags and accessories.

The Chanel Classic Flap bag was presented in numerous colours, sizes and textures.

The timeless bag came in lambskin, tweed and various other textures. Two were crystal embellished and others had butterfly, ladybird and dragonfly motifs which added an interesting twist to the classic bag.

I don’t think it’s an easy task to reinvent the classic flap bag, but Chanel seem to give us something new and fresh every season.

Whilst browsing the Chanel’s Spring 2011 accessories my eyes locked onto a stunning pair of two-tone earrings of gold and black long chains.

They were deliciously opulent. I can picture Joan Collins wearing them in Dynasty or Grace Jones wearing them to perform.

Amongst the accessories I saw necklaces in a mixture of materials ranging from long to short to bib necklaces plus various cuffs, hair accessories and bracelets with the Chanel logo.

I loved the Disco multi-coloured Chanel bracelets.

i don’t like some of the bags, honestly; the one with the ladybugs is really cute. What I really really like is the jewelry, the bracelets are beautiful and a Chanel necklace is one my fashion dream which I don’t know if it will come true…

Oh-so-jealous that you got to be up close and personal with these accessories!! Is that the rolled-top 2.55 in the second slideshow photo? I was drooling over those during the show but didn’t know they were going into production! Any word on prices and colors for those? I need to start saving ASAP 🙂
