“Sherlock Holmes” Madrid Photocall

Rachel McAdams was finally allowed to shine on her own.

There was no Blake Lively wearing a show stopping Dolce & Gabbana barely-there dress.

No Diane Kruger dazzling in a Karl Lagerfeld futuristic dress.

It was just Rachel, giving us sophisticated glamour wearing a Vionnet Resort 2010 nude dress.

I love way one side of the draped ruched dress falls gently off her shoulder, and even though those Casadei heels look heavy I’m glad she didn’t opt for a nude pair.

There’s a bit of a Noah’s Ark effect about Vionnet, with their clothes being worn in two’s.

Back in October both Carey Mulligan and Hilary Swank wore Vionnet on the same night.

Last night both Marion Cotillard and Rachel wore Vionnet looks.

Robert Downey Jr and his wife producer Susan Downey looked to be having fun walking the red carpet together.

She looked gorgeous wearing a strapless Martin Grant Fall 2009 grey ombre dress, with a matching pair of grey peep-toes.

I’m so happy to see a look from this collection on the red carpet again. I wish more pieces had been worn.

Rachel’s dress looks great on her. Better than great. And that is not an easy colour to pull off. What I particularly like is how good the nail polish looks agains the dress.

i was never a fan of draped ruched clothes but vionnet resort collection is spectacular.
i love how the dresses drape/fall so well, in spite of all the fabric. just love.

i love rachel… she finally shines and this dress is made for her… i even like her hair, colour looks much softer than in berlin, on let down is eye shadow… but all result is definitely sublime…

Love the dress, love the heels… hate the fact that I can see her roots. It’s a pet peeve of mine though.

Finally she was able to!(and I’m glad she was, by the way) I think really shines in that Vionnet dress, I love the look. BDOTW contender? hope so!

That picture of Jude and RDJ is adorable!

Whoever is doing Rachel’s hair/makeup for this promotional tour really needs to stop aging her 10 years every night. That’s the big problem at this point. 🙁

    They both look amazing.
I love Rachel hair and make up, it is perfect

Finally a look by Rachel that I really love. I usually just ‘like’ her.

Vionnet is being worn a lot on the red carpet recently.

Oh I think i like this Vionnet brand, they should have resurrected it ages ago – and i understand this might not be the place to do, probably should be doing this at 00o00 but does anyone know what blazer Jude Law is wearing?

I love that Martin Grant dress Susan Downey is wearing! Didn’t know the designer but I’m glad I do now. The dress is so simple but yet beautiful. Pure elegance!
