Cate Blanchett to wear Alexander McQueen Resort 2010

Jenny sent this wish before Drew Barrymore wore this Alexander McQueen dress, but I have been posting your wishes in the order that I receive them.

Like Jenny I too would have marked this dress for Cate Blanchett.

The dress is unique, not easy to pull off and beautiful. All traits I look for in a dress for the stunning Cate.

Jenny said “This dress is edgy but also wearable enough for the general public to wear. The colour would look amazing against Cate’s skin tone.”

I couldn’t agree more.

Rihanna to wear Armani Privé Fall 2009 and Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2009 Couture

It’s hard to remember the time when Rihanna used to wear candy colour Herve Leger dress like every other singer/actress who hit the red carpet, but she broke out of that mold.

Although she occasionally take things too far at times, her guts to be different has to be admired.

Swati said “Rihanna never fails to amaze me”.

“Even though i am not a huge fan of her style, she is at least always interesting to look at. If there is one person in the world who can actually carry off these looks successfully, its Rihanna. She has everything it takes to make these pieces work.”

I totally agree from the softer Prive to the edgy Jean Paul Gaultier feathered piece she has the cojones to make it work.

Megan Fox to wear Antonio Berardi Spring 2010

Megan Fox has fast become a fan of Antonio Berardi work because she designs for a strong sexy confident woman, and Megan embodies that spirit.

I picked 3 of my favourite looks from the collection that sparkle, are short enough for Megan to show off her legs and fitted and shapely enough to show off her killer bod.

If only she should wear them with class instead of crass I would be very happy.

Charlize Theron to wear Valentino Fall 2009 Couture & Christian Dior Fall 2009 Couture

Charlize Theron works very closely with John Galliano and wears a lot of Christian Dior, so it’s not a surprise to see Lucas pick gowns from Galliano’s Fall 2009 collection.

Lucas said, “I would DIE if Charlize wore that one shoulder Valentino Fall 2009 Couture dress to her Venice film festival photocall for ‘The Road’.”

“For the premiere Charlize would look breathtaking in one of the Final 5 dresses from the Christian Dior Fall 2009 show.”

“Since Eva Green already wore the pink one, and Marion Cotillard wore the finale dress in a mint color only 3 remain, and since I can’t see Charlize wearing the long sleeved purple gown. I would love to see Charlize in the red or orange Dior gowns from the red carpet worthy collection.”

I really loved the Valentino pick. As much as Charlize looks great in Dior, I would love to see her wear other designers more often.

Keira Knightley to wear Valentino Fall 2009 Couture & Chanel Fall 2009 Couture

We do miss Keira Knightley on the red carpet as each appearance is magical.

That magic could easily be created by Regina’s two wishes.

Regina said, “When I saw this Valentino dress, I have instantly thought of Keira. I think this dress will ideally emphasize her slender frame.”

“My second pick is this stunning Chanel gown. I would love to see her in this dress.”

At this point I like to pick at least one favourite, but they would both look amazing on her.

I would like to see the Valentino dress worn at a premiere, whilst the Chanel gown would be fitting for a glamorous Film Festival in Cannes or Venice.

Diane Kruger to wear Zac Posen Fall 2009, Marios Schwab Fall 2009 & Bottega Veneta Fall 2009

Dana picked 3 totally different looks for Diane Kruger.

Each were so unique that it’s like 3 different people picked them.

Dana said, “My red carpet wish list is for Diane Kruger, because she’s my girl and she looks amazing in absolutely everything.”

“I wish I could just dress her up, like a doll.”

“I chose three dresses that I think she’d look incredible in. They’re all completely different, but when you can wear anything like Diane can, there’s no need to stick to a particular style.”

Like Dana said each look appeals to a different side of Diane.

Her sassy side with the Zac Posen mini dress with the playful asymmetrical skirt.

The edgy side with a structured strapless colour print Marios Schwab dress.

And her soft feminine side wearing a ethereal Bottega Veneta gown.

I love all 3, but I’m particularly - surprisingly - drawn to the Zac Posen dress.

Angelina Jolie to wear Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2009

WOW.

That’s the first thing I said when I saw Federica’s wish for Angelina Jolie, and that is exactly the reaction I would give if she ever wore this ravashing red Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2009 gown with a cowl neckline.

Federica said, “I’m a huge fan of Angelina Jolie and I’m soooo disappointed with her just wearing black. I was looking at McQueen dresses when I come across this gown”.

“I know this gown is in her comfort zone and it won’t be a particularly brave choice, but for me it’s simply magnificent. She would totally blow me away wearing it on the red carpet. The red satin would cuddle her fantastic curves and heighten her beauty, the shoulder pads would make her look even more sophisticated and elegant”.

“Absolutely love it! Especially the large black belt would make her look even more sexy!”

“I’m sure she would look outstanding in it.”

She would be an absolute knock out in the dress. The colour is vibrant, the style is chic, she would still be very covered up, yet still be able to look sexy.

This is one of my favourite wishes. I really hope Jennifer Rade is reading this.
