Sephora Celebrates Ten Years Of Gorgeous, New York



I love Ashanti in this multi coloured floral print Balenciaga dress, which she wears with blue pointy Christian Louboutin heels.

What I don't love it she blue eyeliner. This is a look that the singer favours, as she also wore the same shade, when she attended the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull New York premiere.



Is that a tan on Kelly Osbourne?

It's either a fake tan or she has changed her foundation shade, but doesn't it do wonders for the usually pale star.



I won't lie, there was a time that I used to love seeing Lindsay Lohan on the red carpet, but not so much lately.

Her best dress was the multi-coloured Herve Leger dress, which she wore to Maxim's 8th Annual Hot 100 Party last year. The multi-coloured sequined Catherine Malandrino dress she is wearing here, is just as fab.



Nicky Hilton wears her multi-coloured knit dress, with a pair of Christian Louboutin Altadama watersnake peep-toes.



Natasha Bedingfield style is very much like a roller-coaster, in that it's very up and down, and at time can make you feel quite queezy, but on this occasion this pale blue spaghetti strapped dress is simply beautiful.

This asymmetrical velvet Lanvin Fall 2008 dress nonconformist Maggie Gyllenhaal is wearing will not be for everyone.

I personally like the dress, but I am not a fan of the headband.

Disney And ABC's "TCA - All Star Party", LA



Lucy Liu looks beautiful wearing a white and coral organza embroidered Oscar de la Renta Resort 2009 dress with a thin leather belt.

I love how the red lips compliment the dress.



This is not my favourite look on Kate Walsh. I am particularly disliking the black lace and white satin top half.



Selena Gomez looked very glam at this event last night. Is she the next up-and-coming teen fashionista?

She could be wearing this fabulous black dress with gold accents with black peep-toe heels.



Teri Hatcher looks very elegant in this ivory asymmetric tiered J. Mendel strapless dress, which she compliments with taupe Louboutin's.



Natasha Henstridge looks elegant wearing a bouquet cami Black Halo dress, which was very popular last year with the likes of Paris Hilton, Golden Brooks and Mandy Moore wearing it.

This season the dress has been reintroduced in an array of new colours including jade and ruby.



Becki Newton is not part of 'Victoria Beckham matchy brigade'. The actress always loves to mix it up with a bright pair of heels. Her stunning pair are by Courtney Crawford.

Her stunning velvet strapless ruffled Abaeté dress is divine. It looks so soft, and I bet it is sensuous to touch.



I love the colour of this ice blue one shouldered cocktail Alberto Makali dress with bow detailing which the star works with a Daniel Swarovski clutch.

For Nicollette Sheridan this is a good effort. Not great, just inoffensive.



I have not known Sarah Chalke to have an off day on the red carpet lately. This lilac keyhole Zac Posen Satin Neptune Mini Dress is simply fabulous.

I especially love the cowl back.



Vanessa Williams opted for a more relaxed style for this event.

I love the red on her.

Berlin Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week - Hugo Boss, Berlin



Mischa Barton jazzed up a steel grey Hugo Boss Fall 2008 strapless pencil dress, with a studded -possibly vintage- belt.

This dress was quite bland on the runway, so kudos to Mischa for adding some personality to it.

Lucy Liu thankfully wore a modified version of this black Pollini Spring 2008 dress with gold embellishments on the neckline, as the runway version came with transparent pants.

"Mamma Mia!" Premiere, New York



Just a simple black Amanda Wakeley gown for Amanda Seyfried. Nothing much more to say about it.



I am falling in love with Christine Baranski. I love her choices of cocktail dress to gowns, as she has such great legs and is not afraid to show them off.

Her animal print sequined dress is very tasteful, and not over the top like the prints Sharon Stone would pick.



In a red Jill Stuart dress and YSL pumps, there can only be one word for Coco Rocha. Fieerrrce.

2008 ESPY Awards Red Carpet - Best Dressed

Best Couple/Best Dressed Female Award
I love Victoria Beckham, you know I do, but for her to walk the red carpet with sunglasses on, (one of my red carpet NO NO's) is beyond pretentious, although I do appreciate that she is channeling Audrey Hepburn here.

Luckily for her she has that hot arm candy in her husband David Beckham, and she wore a stunning primrose yellow RM for Roland Mouret Pre-Fall 2008 'Kleber' cocktail dress, with an origami-pleated neckline, and full-length zip at the back, which makes me forgive, but not forget.

What I also admire is her restraint to not have worn shoes to match her dress.



Best Dressed Male Award
Hotness.

In some pictures it looked like David Beckham had tucked his tie into his shirt, but the soccer stud was actually wearing a white waistcoat. Such a smooth look for the handsome Becks wearing a Spencer Hart suit and Tom Ford shoes

David won Best MLS Player on the night, a feat that was not very difficult.



Best White Award
For such a hot sunny day TV personality Terri Seymour chose right with this white Azzedine Alaia mini dress, which she matched with gold YSL tribute pumps.



Best Sparkle Awards
I love Venus Williams - who looks a lot like Serena here - in this black and silver sequined plunge-neck Diane von Furstenberg dress with Giuseppe Zanotti strappy heels.

The more championships she wins, the better her style becomes.



Best Female Over 6ft Award
It is not easy being tall, muscular and dressing elegantly, but WNBA player Candace Parker pulls it off, looking very glamourous in her champagne gown.

The star won Best Female Athlete on the night.



Best Accessories Award
I would never have thought to match yellow with grey, but IRL driver Danica Patrick, makes it work with her Abaeté strapless mini dress.

Not crazy about her hair though.



Simple, But Elegant Award
Sophia Bush's dark olive one-shouldered Fendi Fall 2008 gown, is a huge departure from her normal style of thigh high dresses.

I adore her earrings.



Best Mini Award
Kristen Bell kept is short and very sweet in this strapless purple Jil Stuart Resort 2009 bustier dress, which she accessorized with a long necklace with a huge pendent.



Best At Sticking To What Works Best Award
Model Adriana Lima wore this Alessandro Dell'Acqua dress, which you would very much expect her to wear as it's cute and short.



Best At Not Playing It Safe/Best Legs Award
Kate Walsh could have worn a dress like Sophia Bush and played it safe, but the actress wanted to have fun last night, and it showed.

The Private Practice star wore a short purple and silver sequined Jenny Packham cocktail dress, which showed off her sexy legs.

She completed her look with strappy Calvin Klein heels.



Just Not Sure Award
I am not sure if I like this printed maxi dress on Ashanti or I hate it, so I am staying on the fence.

Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging Premiere, London




Last month I introduced you all to an up and coming designer called Kristian Aadnevik.

I said that the young designer had a fetish for feathers, and that could not be more true when actress Eleanor Tomlinson walked a red carpet in London this evening wearing one of his stunning feather skirted gowns from his Fall 2008 collection.

Apart from the skirt, the bodice is uber sexy.

This is a big dress for a 16 year old, but she manages to carry it well.



The lead actress for Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging is Georgia Groome. The young actress wore this black sequined dress and black strappy sandals.

Her dress is no match for Eleanor's, but she looks fantastic for her first red carpet appearance.



This is also Manjeeven Grewal's first red carpet appearance, and made it memorable by wearing this stunning traditional Indian ensemble with beautiful beaded embellishments, that complimented her stunning diamond drop earrings.

She completed her look with a blue bindi.

The 2008 ESPYs Giant Event Hosted by Eli Manning, LA



The main ESPY Awards are tonight with the likes of Ashanti, Victoria Beckham, David Beckham and Zac Efron attending, so this was just a pre-event.

Hayden Panettiere falls very flat here for me in this printed maxi dress. Hayden has great legs and she should show them off.



Nicole Murphy arrived looking very chic in her safari-esqe ensemble from Stella McCartney's Spring 2008 collection.

The former Mrs Eddie Murphy completes the look with a hat tipped to the side.

Kimora Lee Simmons "Fabulosity" Launch Party, LA



Yikes, I never knew Gabrielle Union could look so boring.

Her dress looks very much like a fake Miu Miu.



Whoever informed Kimora Lee Simmons that she was fabulous, lied to her.

A very svelte Maggie Gyllenhaal looked very elegant in a black custom-made Dries Van Noten Fall 2008 strapless gown with a bright floral print on the bodice and skirt.

She accessorized with tear drop earrings and a gold bracelet.

Her elegance was completely with a neat updo.



Blake Lively showed off her well toned long legs in a black satin Vena Cava playsuit with a plunging neckline.

The Gossip Girl actress opted against jewelry, maybe because the embellishments on her ensemble had enough to make her stand out. She completed her look with gold pointy pumps.



Lauren Conrad wore a nude sheath Dolce & Gabbana bustier dress with a black overlay.

Lauren accessorized with black Christian Louboutin peep-toes, a bracelets and her 'Lauren' name tag ring, which she has worn on several occasions.



Mariska Hargitay looks beautiful, as she always does, wearing a two tone, slate and brown satin Derek Lam Spring 2008 dress,with a beaded pair of strappy sandals.

Who else other than Diane Kruger, Chloe Sevigny and maybe Christina Ricci could pull off this nautical look so well?

Diane looks très chic in her Chanel hat, cropped stripped top and black Grey Ant high-waisted black pants.



Leighton Meester opted for this very sexy black body-hugging sheath BCBG Max Azria dress with an embellished neckline, which she wore with her black and white Dior heels.



Julianne Moore colour coordinates her black with a gold platformed YSL strappy heels, with her black silk Isabel Marant Fall 2008 dress with gold stones embroidered into the material.



My supermodel girl crush Coco Rocha, graced the red carpet in this navy blue Chanel Resort 2008 dress with Christian Louboutin for Roland Mouret platformed heels.

This girl has fierceness oozing from every pore.

Actresses Susan Sarandon and Eva Amurri, look more like sisters than mother and daughter.

Susan opted for a navy blue plunge-neck dress and a gold tote, whist Eva wore a silver dress with black peep-toes.

Glenn Close always looks elegant.

The 5 time Academy nominated actress looked very youthful in her strapless Ralph Lauren Spring 2008 floral dress with a bright pink cardigan.



I adore pencil LBD's, and Olivia Wilde is supremely chic. I love how she opted for nude heels, instead of a black heels.



Emily Deschanel goes very casual, with a black top, black pants and a stripey blazer.



Sarah Wayne wears a playfully sexy Diane von Furstenberg Pre-Fall 2008 dress. This unique dress has a blush pink silk bodice and slate wool body.

Mila Kunis rarely smile on the red carpet, but she does sparkle in this silver Stella McCartney Resort 2009 sequined sheath dress.

Heroes actress Eriko Tamura wore a very colourful strapless Ralph Lauren Spring 2008 dress with the signature Polo Match logo incorporated into the design.

She completes her look with Givenchy peep-toes.

Lauren Conrad decided not to wear one of her own design, but instead opted for a LBD from the Olsen's Elizabeth & James collection.

This fringed dress is very much suits Lauren's style, so I will forgive her not supporting her own collection on this occasion.



Dania Ramirez wore a strapless sweetheart necklined Jay Godfrey lemon sherbet dress with a black belt and multi-colour heels.



Lauren Bosworth wore the same Jay Godfrey dress in fushica, also with a black belt and black Christian Louboutin Very Noeud slingbacks.

Alicia Keys is an absolute knock-out wearing this stunning Armani plunge-neck gown. I adore the beaded embellishments.

She looks very strong and powerful in this dress, yet elegant and feminine.

Alicia and Giorgio work very well together, as she always looks great in his designs.



Two weeks ago I did a post to show how much Jennifer Hudson loves wearing chocolate brown, well here she is again, wearing her colour of choice in this a halter-neck Escada gown.

She wore her dress with flat sandals, and a gold belt to give her that sexy hourglass shape.



Mischa Barton wore a stunning Mulberry Fall 2008 dress which has a red lampshade skirt and a pink ruffled top.

I am not normally a fan of all of Mischa's choices, but this one me likey.

An angelic looking Naomi Campbell, here with designer Stefano Pilati, wore a YSL Fall 2008 taupe dress with a black asymmetric piece on her bubble skirt.

She completed her look with a YSL Y-Mail bag and black patent platform sandals.

You may recognise this dress, as both Sarah Jessica Parker and Julianne Moore have worn modifications of it.



Apart from Claudia Schiffer's YSL Y-Mail evening clutch, nothing else appeals to me here.

The red top is too garish for her skin tone, the vintage chiffon blouse makes her look wider than she is, and the belt does not work with the top.

Stella McCartney's Private Dinner, London



Maria Sharapova opted for a floaty white chiffon Stella McCartney Spring 2008 mini dress, with tan gladiator sandals, and a black zip clutch.



Camilla Belle is usually the bell of the ball, but I much prefer Maria dress.

Camilla's blue Stella McCartney mini dress is worn with a taupe clutch and a black pair of pumps.

Vanessa Hudgens wears a stunning plaid Ports 1961 strapless dress, with a pair of black peep-toes shoes.

"Hancock" Premiere, LA



After Charlize Theron's European red carpet appearances, I thought she may find it hard to top the Christian Dior, Balenciaga, Giambattista Valli and Christian Lacroix dresses she wore.

It looks like I was right because this dress on her is very average compared to the others, despite being Dior.

And flats on the red carpet? No no. Even if they are Giuseppe Zanotti.



Jada Pinkett-Smith upstaged the leading lady in this Grecian emerald green Herve Leroux gown, with stunning blue drop earrings and a Judith Leiber gold clutch.



Tia Mowry is very cute fun and flirty in this Ports 1961 Silk Ruffled Mini Dress, and her make-up is flawless.



After all the hard work Queen Latifah put into changing her style from a hip-hop diva, to an A list actress, she does a complete 180, and hits the red carpet wearing an ensemble that would be better suited to a gym.

I absolutely hate this look. It has no place on the red carpet.



Amanda Peet's look is very casual when compared to Jada and Charlize, but it is thankfully not too casual like Queen Latifah.

Her Thakoon Resort 2009 ensemble consists of a floral skirt and a black and peach jersey sweater, which she completes with a pair of strappy sandals and a black clutch.



Is any one else completely uncomfortable looking at Minnie Driver here?



Vivica A Fox is almost unrecognisable here. How much work has she had done?

Vivica's curves hug this beautiful embellished Gucci dress.

I love that Jennifer Lopez does not appear to be obsessed with losing her baby weight at the speed of light, like most actress.

Jennifer was never part of the size 0 brigade, so can can afford to take her time and get back in shape in a healthy way and she looks amazing her in a plunging black maxidress.

She was in Barcelona to presenting her new lingerie line.

I would not have personally picked this beige/brown ombre Oscar de la Renta Fall 2008 dress with gold embroidery for Jennifer Morrison, but somehow she makes it work.



I love Anita Briem's sunny yellow layered Jay Godfrey Resort 2008 tent dress. The gorgeous actress looks stunning in the open-back haltered dress and the skirt is so incredibly cute.

The forever stylish Dita von Teese wore a fire engine red pleated plunge-neck Malandrino Spring 2008 dress, with matching belt, clutch, shoes and lips.

I wonder how the matchy police feel about this?

I love that Christine Baranski was brave enough to wear this pink Gucci Spring 2008. Some would say she is too old to wear something so short, but I say she looks fantastic.

With legs like that, why not so them off?

Kim Cattrall opened the Harrods sale in London wearing a Dries Van Noten jacket over her cream Givenchy dress.

I could not wait for Style.com uploaded the runway pictures of Christian Dior's Fall 2008 Haute Couture show, I had to bright you this tangy sorbet delight right now.

There were many celebrities front row at Christian Dior's Fall 2008 Haute Couture show this afternoon, but NONE of them looked better than Eva Mendes.

The actress looked divine in her orange and pink embellished dress, which clearly made her stand out amongst the grey and black that all the other celebrities decided to wear to this couture show.

It's only Monday, and I already have a contender for Best Dressed Of The Week.

She literally shone on the red carpet for the Get Smart Mexico premiere in this ombre eggplant Oscar de la Renta Fall 2008 sweetheart neckline dress with black slingbacks heels.

Queen of the night was actress Han Ye-Seul won two awards. Best New Actress and BMW Most Popular Actress awards.

She was also one of the best dressed attendees wearing a stunning Versace beaded gown.



Han Chae-Young is wearing that popular pink Christian Dior strapless gown which we have seen recently on both Cameron Diaz and Katherine Jenkins.

The actress complimented her gown with a silver beaded clutch.



Lost actress Yunjin Kim wore a stunning black mini dress, which had many tiers on the skirt and a criss cross detail at the back.

I am not a fan of Mischa Barton boho "I wanna look cool like the Olsen's" style, which she insist on adopting, and for me just does not work on her.

Dinner In Honor Of Nelson Mandela's 90th Birthday, London



A dashing Will Smith arrived with his wife Jada Pinnkett-Smith, who was wearing a olive Monique Lhuillier Fall 2008 sheath dress, which had peacock feathers around the neckline.



Denzel Washington arrived looking very dapper in his black suit, shirt and tie combo, with his wife, Pauletta Pearson who was wearing a black asymmetric top and a Prada Resort 2008 pouffy skirt.



Forest Whitaker and his wife Keisha arrived both wearing navy. She was wearing a satin Lanvin Fall 2007 dress, with a stunning pair of embellished sandals.



Naomi Campbell brought not only her new boyfriend, but the high-end glamour to this event wearing a sexy black chiffon gown.



Oprah Winfrey made a rare visit to London wearing a black and white ensemble. The chat-show host was clever enough to bring a clutch that doubled up as a fan, to keep her cool, as London was very warm yesterday.

I have a thing about strapless gown being worn with the hair up and a bare neck, as I believe it makes you look more statuesque, so I am not loving Katherine in this gown. I much prefer it on the first time it was worn by a celebrity.

I am not crazy about the colour on her, and I think a belt would have made a dramatic difference.

Mary-Kate Olsen has come out of hiding. It has been a while since we saw the boho chick on the red carpet, and she did not disappoint from the ankles up.

Actress Paz Vega opted for a black strapless Roberto Cavalli Pre-Fall 2008 gown, which has a beautiful floral detail on the hem.



For Esther Canadas it was all about the back of her Roberto Cavalli dress, as she constantly posed with her back to the paparazzi.

"Late Show with David Letterman", New York



When I first saw Charlize Theron's black dress, was disappointed that I did not instantly recognise it, then I saw pictures of the back, and instantly recognise her dress as Narciso Rodriguez from the Fall 2008 collection.

I remembered the criss-cross design from the back the dress worn on Sarah Jessica Parker's Vogue shoot.

Charlize looks amazing in this body-con dress.

This weekend Claudia Schiffer wore the pink version of this one-shouldered Versace Fall 2008 dress. This time she has added a silver brooch to her navy version.

I am much preferring the pink, but the German model does wear this dress well.

Louis Vuitton & Richard Prince, London



On the same night Claudia Schiffer hot footed over to this Louis Vuitton event, but not before changing into a beige Louis Vuitton Fall 2008 woolen dress, which she also accessorized with a brooch.

What I loved here apart from the dress, is the stunning eggplant Louis Vuitton Monogram Minaudière clutch.



British designer Amanda Wakeley looks stunning in her black jersey dress, but my shoe fetish, instantly draws my eye to her Azzedine Alaia heels.



Joely Richardson wore this black strapless tuxedo-style Louis Vuitton Spring 2008 dress, which has also been worn by Kristin Davis and Mariah Carey this year.



Lily Cole tries her best to smile for the cameras, in her all white Louis Vuitton Spring 2008 ensemble.

After looking at these pictures last night, I had one disturbing thought. I miss Beyonce Knowles.
