Runway To Project Runway - Heidi Klum In Alexander McQueen

We do not get Project Runway in the UK, instead we have our own version Project Catwalk.

Despite that I will be fully up to speed with the who, the what and the who got kicked off thanks to blogs and YouTube.

Heidi Klum reprises her role, as host for the popular show in its 5th season, which returns on Bravo, Wednesday, July 16 at 9pm ET/PT.

You can find out about the new designers at BravoTV.com

Guest judges include Rachel Zoe, Diane von Furstenberg, Sandra Bernhard, Brooke Shields, LL Cool J, Cynthia Rowley, RuPaul, Francisco Costa and Olympic speed-skating champion Apolo Ohno.

I will be checking out RuPaul and Rachel Zoe's appearances on YouTube for sure.

For the group photo supermodel Heidi Klum wore a fushica Alexander McQueen belted dress with a black pair of Christian Louboutin For Roland Mouret Pre-Fall 2008 platform heels.

Social Events Of The Week

Nakheel Launches Trump International Hotel and Tower Dubai, New York

Naomi Watts' Zac Posen Fall 2008 ensemble, is a dazzling twist on a shirt and waistcoat combo, which is embellished with beads and sequins, whilst her black skirt is pleated.

She teams her ensemble with a black pair of Christian Louboutin Zipette Suede Sandals.

This is only Naomi's third appearance on the red carpet this year, and she never lets me down.

I can not remember the last time we saw Demi Moore on the red carpet without Ashton Kutcher, it's weird seeing her on her own.

The actress wore Ivanka Trump diamonds, with her colbat blue Zac Posen halter-neck dress and gold peep-toes.

I love this strapless black Kaufman Franco Fall 2008 dress with leather bustier on Heidi Klum, who is also wearing Ivanka Trump diamonds.

What I hate is her new tattoo, which thankfully is only temporary. OK it is very sweet that the tattoo is an inscription of her husbands name, but very tacky for a supermodel of her stature.

BET Awards 2008 - Pre-Party, LA

Ashanti has been scrubbing up well these days. Gone are the tacky costumes and the overbearing make-up, and in come the gorgeous gowns and vintage dress.

This is a stunning colour on her. I especially love the embroidery detail on the bust of her Marchesa dress.

The BET Awards are tonight, I hope she does not make me eat my words.

Kim Kardashian is another woman who has turned the hooch down a couple of notches.

I was extremely surprised to see the one time Playboy model wearing this gorgeous white Stella McCartney Spring 2008 jumpsuit, which is very much on trend, and not too revealing.

2008 ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Awards, LA

I would have much preferred this lemon dress without thick, heavy looking embellishments. Michelle Williams still has love for the bling from her DC-3 days.

As this 3.1 Philip Lim Spring 2008 saffron yellow dress has been worn a few times this year, Pussycat Doll's Melody Thornton shorten hers to give the dress a new twist.

Solange Knowles 22nd Birthday Party, LA

Why oh why did Solange Knowles think it was a great idea to dress up for 22nd birthday party as a giant carrot?

Social Events Of The Week

"Hancock" Premiere, Paris

Charlize Theron looked every inch the red carpet superstar she is, in this white bubble skirted dress from the Christian Dior Fall 2008 collection.

The actress teamed her dress with a sexy pair of leopard print heels and a mint green clutch.

Perfection personified and she does not even look like she is trying.

Eva Longoria was also in attendance wearing a black embellished Chanel Pre-Fall 2008 dress with black heels.

This is a very chic understated look for Eva. I guess her the style and elegance of her second home is rubbing off on her.

"Get Smart" Premiere, LA

I love this strapless silver metallic Bill Blass Fall 2008 dress on Anne Hathaway.

Anne loves mixing it up at the moment, going from long elegant gowns, to edgier looks like this. I love the contrast, and the fact that she no longer feels the need to play it safe.

The silk eyelash skirt is stunning.

I love the colour of this strapless bubble hemmed dress on Jenna Fischer, but other than that the dress is just OK.

I wish she had worn a nice silver strappy sandal.

67th Annual Peabody Awards, New York

Heidi Klum is incredibly beautiful and statuesque in this RM for Roland Mouret Fall 2008 white structured dress.

I love the silhouette this sheath dress gives her and the strong detailing thought-out.

My only problem is with the shoes. The dress appeared on the runway with these shoes, but I would have preferred Heidi to have worn something not so heavy and clunky looking.

MTV TRL, New York

The adorable Taylor Swift arrived at a taping of MTV's TRL wearing a white one-shouldered ruffled detailed Laila Azhar sheath dress with silver peep-toes.

"Mad Men" Season 2 Private Preview Screening, New York

Unless you have the style of Chloë Sevigny or Christina Ricci the Miu Miu Spring 2008 collection was not made for you.

January Jones please take note.

Nanette Lepore and Kerry Washington Host "Fashion Votes", LA

Kerry Washington keeps it simple in a powder blue embroidered Nanette Lepore dress with a slit to the thigh.

Perrey Reeves goes for high glamour in a black shimmering, jeweled detailed Nanette Lepore Fall 2008 cocktail dress with a lace overlay.

Amerie works her Chanel classic flap bag with a cerulean blue shirt dress and animal print heels.

Who Wore Roberto Cavalli Better? Heidi Klum or Mariah Carey

Project Runway host Heidi Klum first wore this silver metallic Roberto Cavalli Spring 2008 mini dress to Elton John's Annual AIDS Foundation Oscar Party in LA back in February.

The 5ft 10 model wore her dress with a pair of silver pumps, a silver box clutch and silver earrings.

Newlywed Mariah Carey, aka Mimi, wore the same dress when she performed at the Time's 100 Most Influential People in the World event in New York last night.

The singer wore her dress with a pair of silver strappy sandals and her
$2.5 million wedding ring.

Mimi's strappy sandals work better with this type of dress, so she wins for me.

Social Events Of The Week

"Iron Man" Premiere, LA

All good things must come to an end, and this was clearly the case for Gwyneth Paltrow as she took to the red carpet for her Iron Man premiere in LA wearing a custom-made Stella McCartney tuxedo-style jumpsuit last night.

For me jumpsuits rarely work, especially on tall women, as they either give you camel toe or a wedgie.

I wonder if Gwynie asked Chris "Does my bum look big in this?" before she left for the premiere.

Yes Gwynie, Yes.

Emmanuelle Chriqui shows off her super toned body in this body con Herve Leroux white tank dress.

A totally unrecognisable Jennifer Grey, also attended wearing a red sheath dress.

Free Arts NYC Art and Photography Auction, New York

Michelle Monaghan jumps on the gladiator sandals trend by opting for a black pair to compliment her Erin Fetherston Fall 2008 black satin one-shouldered mini dress.

"Heidi Klum by Jordache" Launch, LA

No one else could do her Heidi Klum by Jordache collection justice, so designer Heidi Klum showed them off at her launch with a pair of increasingly popular gladiator heels.

MTV TRL, New York

Gwyneth Paltrow hung with the kids at MTV's TRL wearing a Matthew Williamson Fall 2008 ensemble.

"Late Show with David Letterman", New York

Heidi Montag arrived at the taping of Letterman wearing a pepto bismol, vomit inducing négligée/dress with her on-again, off-again, who cares again boyfriend Spencer Pratt.

Her Blumarine dress is the type of thing you see in the "Sexy Lingerie" section of Victoria Secrets catalogue, which you would imagine a certain type of "working girl" to wear.

Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Style Red Carpet

Winner of Style Icon of The Year, Heidi Klum, wore a strapless mini purple dress designed by Rami Kashou, last season's Project Runway contestant, who for me should have won, and you are looking at the reason why. Such a stunning dress.

Rami Kashou also designed this fabulous metallic number for Adrienne Bailon.

Like most designers Nicky Hilton stands by her own designs, and is wearing her own Nicholai collection.

I especially love her jacket, I would love to own it.

Lauren Conrad is wearing an aqua Catherine Malandrino cocktail dress covered in clear and black paillettes. I guess she just does not have the same belief in her designs as Nicky Hilton.

I am very surprised she won The Celebrity Designer of the Year. I would have given it to Nicky Hilton.

Some people are just not meant to have long hair.

Kelly Rowland for me was at her best with her cropped do's, and I feel very much the same about Rumer Willis. Long hair just does NOT work on her.

At present I will give her a 2 out of 10 in this Herve Leger Strapless Bandage Dress. With her crop, she may have got a 9 out of 10.

Eve is stunning in this silk Jay Godfrey cocktail dress with a seductive zipper front. At first I was not crazy about the colour, but it has grown on me.

Cheryl Burke looks uber sexy in this Eduardo Lucerno bustier dress, although she does not quite fill it.

Christina Milian choose a black Louis Vuitton cocktail dress, with gold detailing. She complimented that detail with a gold cuff and a gold metallic bag.

It has been a while since we last saw Jennifer Morrison on the red carpet. As usual she never disappoints.

She is wearing an embroidered Betsey Johnson halter dress, with snakeskin heels and a beaded clutch.

Aubrey O'Day is thankfully not wearing Heatherette, but this delicate chiffon Alice + Olivia Rosette bandeau dress with pale blue heals.

Some of you might not like Stephanie Pratt's Betsey Johnson Spring 2008 polka dot ruffled mini dress, but I love it.

It is so fresh and youthful.

She teamed her dress with a pair of cute bowed Christian Louboutin Very Noeud slingbacks.

Jordana Brewster is wearing a empire waist, silk-chiffon Catherine Malandrino Embroidered Cutout Dress with a scoop neckline.

Sanaa Lathan is stunning as always, wearing a printed tiered dress and with cut out heels.

Who knew that Jessica Sutta was so beautiful. She has been standing behind Nicole Scherzinger for too long.

Eddie Murphy must be kicking himself, that he let Tracey Edmonds get away. She is awesome in this Herve Leger Tank Banded Dress, which is hugging her in all the right places.

Who Wore Dolce & Gabbana Better? Heidi Klum or Eva Amurri

Supermodel and Project Runway host Heidi Klum first wore this black silk Dolce & Gabbana gown with crystal trim detail to the Entertainment Weekly's 5th Annual Emmys Celebration back in September last year, which she attended with her husband Seal.

Actress Eva Amurri wore the same dress to the New Year’s in April: A Fool’s Fête last night, with stunning drop earrings and a black satin clutch with a jeweled band.

You may assume I would go for Heidi, being the supermodel, but I just love Eva curves and dark colouring with this dress. She wins this for me.

Elton John AIDS Foundation 2008 Oscar Party

Without the Vanity Fair party, the only real party that brought out the stars was Elton John's Annual AIDS Foundation Party.

Unfortunately the likes of Katie Holmes, Kate Hudson, Uma Thurman did not attend and most of those celebrities who walked the red carpet wore the same dress to the parties, so there was not the opportunity to see them in a second set of dresses.

Ziyi Zhang was by far the best dressed at this event wearing a ruffled electric blue Armani Privé Spring 2008 strapless dress.

Sharon Stone made up for her Dior disaster last week, by wearing a white tuxedo from the Christian Dior Spring 2008 collection.

I like the way she has made this sexy, by not wearing a shirt under her waistcoat.

Kate Beckinsale is wearing one of my favourite dresses from the Versace Couture Spring 2008 collection. This is very sexy and un-prom-like look for Kate.

Eva Herzigova looked stunning in this canary yellow Versace Couture Spring 2008 one shouldered gown. Her jewels were from Chopard.

Actress Zoe Saldana has been wearing a lot of stunning dress lately and this J. Mendel Spring 2008 gown with flower detail is no exception.

Portia de Rossi looks stunning in this late coloured Lanvin Spring 2008 dress, although her sun-burnt orange eyebrows are killing me.

Ellen DeGeneres loves to wear suits, and she is looking very dapper in this grey Dior suit with white shoes.

Heidi Klum put away her Dior dress for sake keeping, and stepped out in this stunning metallic Roberto Cavalli Spring 2008 mini dress.

Courtney Love dressed up in this jeweled neckline ivory white satin Lanvin dress, which slightly washes her out.

Mary J Blige wore this aubergine, shoulder embellished dress to perform at this event with host Elton John.

She later changed into this ombre gown, to enjoy the party with the other guests.

Both dresses were equally amazing on the R&B diva, but I preferred this gown.

Sofia Vergara picks up were Salma Hayek left off, in the sexiest buxom babe on the red carpet.

She looks amazing wearing this emerald green Versace dress, which she is in danger of spilling out of.

Designer Monique Lhuillier wore a stunning hybrid of her own designs from her Spring 2008 & Fall 2008 collection.

Terri Seymour attended this event with her boyfriend Simon Cowell.

She is wearing a Loris Azzaro 1970s goddess style dress in apricot sorbet jersey with a ruched bodice from Rare Vintage.

Like Portia, the eyebrows are too thick for my liking.

Natalie Maines of The Dixie Chicks showed us her sexy legs by wearing this interesting aubergine gathered mini Alexander McQueen Fall 2007 dress.

Either it is the lipstick with the Roberto Cavalli dress, or the dress with the lipstick, but something is not working here for Petra Nemcova.

I think it's the lipstick.

Minnie Driver is a tad boring in chocolate.

She usually makes a effort to stand out as at these events.

I was pleasantly surprised to see singer Nadine Coyle from UK pop band Girls Aloud on the red carpet at this event.

She wore a gorgeous chocolate embellished chiffon dress with golden peep-toes.

Oscars 2008 - Best Dressed

Best Dressed/Best Haute Couture Award
This ivory mermaid-like Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2008 Couture gown on Marion Cotillard was simply stunning.

I loved the a fishtail hem and the scale-esqe embroidery on the whole gown.

Marion won the Best Actress Award for her portrayal of Edith Piaf in La Vie en Rose.

Her speech was so wonderfully heart-warming, that it brought a small tear to my eye.

Best Red Award
Heidi Klum was better than amazing in this Dior by John Galliano custom-made couture gown.

The neckline and the back detail were all very chic.

She finished her look with Stuart Weitzman shoes and jewelry she designed from her own line.

Heidi's red couture gown will be auctioned as part of The Heart Truth campaign to raise awareness about women and heart disease.

Best Detailed Dress/Best Earrings Award
There is so much detail on Penelope Cruz' mermaid dress with the feathers and the gathering at the front, yet it does not make the dress too busy.

I adore her ruby and diamond Chopard earrings.

Best Invisible Make-up Award
I bet it only took Cameron Diaz no more than 20 minutes to get ready, and look how amazing she is.

She arrived at the Oscars in a pink Christian Dior by John Galliano bustier gown, Bulgari jewels, Roger Vivier clutch.

Best Strapless Award
I loved Kristin Chenoweth Armani Privé black silk tulle gown over a rose organza underlay.

It was the only dress that challenged Marion for Best Dressed. I loved the sweetheart neckline and the knotted and pleated tulle details.

Best Sequins Award
Regular readers will know I love a bit of bling, as it all adds to the glamour on the red carpet.

Renee Zellweger was the only one to provided head to toe bling in the form of this stunning strapless Carolina Herrera gown, which I at first thought had to be Elie Saab.

Most Improved From The 2007 Oscars Award
Anne Hathaway need this. She needed a stunning gown to erase the memory of that Valentino bow.

The saviours? Marchesa of course.

She completed her look with Harry Winston diamonds.

I love the with rosette detailing from the bust-line to her shoulder.

Best Strapless Award
Keri Russell's champagne coloured Nina Ricci strapless dress came to life with an H.Stern vintage floral necklace.

Best Matching Dress/Lipstick Combo Award
Katherine Heigl was stunning in this Escada gown.

I loved the circular detail on her shoulder and nipped in waist.

Her look was very elegant, as she channeled old Hollywood.

Her jewels were from Ryan Ryan and her shoes and clutch were from Jimmy Choo.

Best Pregnant Award
Jessica Alba won the battle of the baby mama's in this purple Marchesa Fall 2008 gown.

I love the feather detailing on the bust and the aubergine really suits her.

Jessica added some Cartier jewels to finish her look.

Best One-Shouldered Dress/Best Hair Award
There were many one-shoulder gown, but Hilary Swank in Versace Spring 2008 Couture was by far the best in terms of detail.

Her hair was amazing. Perfectly styled and I loved the tints.

Best Vintage Award
Calista Flockhart looked stunning in her 1970s vintage Valentino Haute Couture dress from Rare Vintage. The pale blue and grey colours were very pretty on her.

Best British Award
Were Tilda let us down Helen Mirren did us Brits proud in this custom-made Georges Chakra ruby gown.

Simple Yet Fabulous Award
Amy Ryan was simple and fabulous in this one-shoulder Calvin Klein gown.

Sexiest Couple Award
Johnny Depp in Giorgio Armani and Vanessa Paradis in Chanel Haute Couture with Chanel jewelry are so hot without event trying. Only Brad and Angelina could have upstage this hot couple.

Best Dressed Couple Award
I loved the way Diane Lane in David Meister and Josh Brolin were subtly dressed. They complimented each other well, without resorting to him wearing a tie to match her dress.

Best Necklace Award
Laura Linney was wearing a very simple midnight blue silk strapless bustle-back gown by Michael Kors.

Her stunning Cathy Waterman necklace brings the dress to life.

Laura's bag and shoes were by Salvatore Feragamo.

Best Plus 1 Award
Keisha Whitaker always shines next to her husband.

The detail on this embellished strapless tulle gown is magnificent.

Who Wore Dior On The Cover Better? Victoria Beckham For Elle US or Heidi Klum For Elle France

A blonde Victoria Beckham wore this white Dior Spring 2008 ensemble with black braces, on the cover of the January edition of Elle US, for her first solo cover for the magazine.

The fashion team over a Elle France had the same idea, as they dress Heidi Klum in the same ensemble for her March 2008 cover, which she lovingly posed with her singer husband Seal.

I think both woman own this look, but I would have to choose Heidi.

Malawi and UNICEF Gucci Benefit Hosted By Madonna

Amazing from every angle. I just can't get enough of Rihanna at the moment.

Her style is just amazing. The hair is another variation of her chic crop and she is just effortless beautiful.

She is wearing a dark forest green grecian Gucci dress from the Fall 2007 collection.

Gush, gush and gushing some more.

Madonna, the host of the event, wore taupe cowl-neck jersey dress with matching shoes, whilst her gorgeous daughter Lourdes wore a black dress.

Could Amy Adams be more beautiful here?

I wish I could find a picture from the front, so this will do for now.

I love the colour and her new found confidence on the red carpet.

Gwyneth Paltrow has over cooked it here with the large bow.

The pink dress on it's own, without the bow, may have been OK, but the grey shoes....eek.

Ali Larter choose a better pink salmon coloured strapless dress from the Gucci Spring 2008 collection.

I adore her strappy sandals also from the Gucci Spring 2008 collection.

Wow and then some.

Salma Hayek post-pregnancy figure is even more sexy than it was before.

Katie Holmes continues her impeccable style in this red Alexander McQueen structured pencil dress.

Had it not been for Rihanna's gorgeousness, I would have been gushing over this dress.

Heidi Klum shows off her perfect pins in this mini chocolate dress.

Debra Messing is also wearing those gorgeous strappy sandals in gold, plus an ensemble of a pvc jacket, skirt and belt all from the Gucci Spring 2008 collection.

This is an edgy look we are not used to seeing on Debra, but is works and I love it.

Camilla Belle is better than this dry, boring dress.

To say I am disappointed is a very polite understatement.

This black Gucci Spring 2008 dress is too safe for Ellen Pompeo. Yes she tried the rock chick look with this draped black mini dress with her Louboutin booties, but she should have worn the pink or the monochrome runway versions.

I think these pictures are hilarious of Jennifer Lopez. Even in her pregnancy - like Christina Aguilera - she still trying to pull that sexy wanton face. So gross, yet so funny.

I like the way she jazzed up this chocolate dress by adding a snake skinned belt.

Drew Barrymore is another girl who opted for a Gucci Spring 2008 mini dress.

I think collection very much suits Drew's sense of style.

I like Molly Sims dress, but it would have been better without the tights.

I am also not a fan of peep-toes with tights, so what could have been so great, just get an OK from me.

Alicia Keys, normally the risk taker, which granted always doesn't pay off, played waaaayyyy too safe.

Great dress, great colour, great male candy, but the hair is just blah on Becki Newton.

This blue-black satin gown looks like it is just melting against Angie Harmon. Beautiful.

Dita Von Teese wore a strapless black satin and lace Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2008 mini dress plus a pink ribbon.

I guess it was a night for unnecessary pink bows.

Speaking of unnecessary bows, one was incorporated into Lucy Liu's ivory dress.

There is pushing the envelope, and then there is plain crazy. This dress falls into the crazy section.

Yawn.

Demi Moore and Ashton, never seem happy to pose, they always look so bored.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are a perfectly coordinated couple. Gwen is wearing her own L.A.M.B. design.

Cassie is wearing these block colours very well. I love how they match her sandals.

Stunning dress. I love the colour and the embellishements on this gown, but Rachel Zoe's face.....

Nelly Furtado has very much lost her sparkle despite shimmering in this grey satin dress with gold accents.

I guess only Cynthia Nixon was the only available Sex And The City cast member last night.

Runway To Red Carpet - Heidi Klum In Temperely

Heidi Klum looked chic in a Temperley Fall 2007 mini dress as she attended the launch of a calcium fortified mineral water called Bella Fontanis in her native Germany.

On this occassion I am glad she wore tights, otherwise this could have looked not so chic, and more like a Paris Hilton outfit.

Social Events Of The Week

"Late Show with David Letterman", New York

Eva Longoria wore this sequined, beaded black and nude Jenny Packham Spring 2008 cocktail mini dress, for an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman last night. She team her dress with a pair of black YSL tribute pumps.

She looks so cute, but I wish she saved this dress for the red carpet.

The Eye Premiere, LA

Jessica Alba continues looking fabulous on the red carpet. At her LA premiere she wore a midnight blue Nacriso Rodriguez Pre Fall 2008 silk reverse charmeuse dress.

10th Annual amfAR New York Gala, New York

Joy Bryant was easily the best dressed at this event wearing an ensemble from Ralph Lauren Spring 2008 collection.

She looks so angelic. I love that cropped jacket.

Christy Turlington steps out in this Chanel halter dress, looking you
