Gustavo Cadile was the designer of the night, as he dressed many of the women at the 2009 Billboard Latin Music Awards.

The first was Rashel Diaz.

The TV personality wore a silver rose print gown from his Fall 2009 collection.

Her version had silver embellished details to highlight the straps and the empire waist.

Catherine Siachoque’s black strapless gown was from the Oscar de la Renta Spring 2009 Bridal collection.

You may remember that Shakira wore this same dress in green, earlier this year.

Mexican singer Gloria Trevi was the second star to wear a dress by Gustavo Cadile.

The bright yellow strapless gown really lit up the red carpet. The details included a intricate lace overlay on the bodice, with a cream satin sash which tied around the waist, into a bow at the back.

Maritza Rodriguez’ body looks outstanding wearing a Nicholas Felizola white asymmetrical gown. I love that fluttery detail on the shoulder.

Ximena Duque was the golden girl of the night wearing a Gustavo Cadile Fall 2009 gown.

Cream coloured tulle straps and trims give this gown a dynamic finish.

Paola Varela wore a two-tone nude Carlos Miele Spring 2009 one-shoulder gown, with a her hair pulled back.

You will recognise this gown, as Isla Fisher wore it to the 2009 Golden Globe Awards.

Monica Noguera also wore an outstanding gown by Gustavo Cadile. The designer outdid himself with this stunning one-shoulder white gown.

I love the detail on the bodice, which gets lost by the sunlight in the red carpet.

Amy Adams attended the 2009 Golden Globe Awards wearing a black strapless Oscar De La Renta Spring 2009 fantasy princess gown.

The embroidered tulle gown, with a sweetheart neckline was enchanting, with the floral appliqués. It wasn’t my favourite look from her for the Awards season, as I wished her to have taken more risks, but she does look beautiful.

Ilia Calderon, wore the same dress to the Lo Nuestro a La Musica Latina Awards last month.

The Colombian journalist and TV presenter really sparkled in the the dress. I preferred her hair, make-up and overall look, so she wins for me.

Last night Audrina Patridge attended the LA premiere for her movie Into The Blue 2: The Reef. She wore a cute lilac Issa kimono-style jersey dress with a cream pair of Christian Louboutin Differa 140 sandals.

Audrina is at the end of a long line of celebrities, who have fallen in love with the multi-buckle sandals.

The leather open toe platform gladiator sandal, has a closed back and triple buckle ankle straps, for a punky edgy look.

The shoes were first seen at the Giles Spring 2009 presentation back in September, and Agyness Deyn was the first to wear them off the runway.

Heidi Klum gave them their first red carpet appearance at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards, and they have become increasingly popular ever since.

These heels are currently available in gold from Net-A-Porter’s international site for £775/€895, or you can get these shoes in black from Saks.com for $1,495.

Penelope Cruz – alongside fellow Spanish actress Blanca Portillo and Director Pedro Almodóvar – is back to her stunning best wearing a L’Wren Scott black sparkling gown.

I am really happy those blunt bangs are gone, as this Cindy Crawford-esqe style it more fitting.

Little sis Monica Cruz wore a black Antonio Berardi Spring 2009 mini shirt dress, with black slingbacks and a gold clutch.

She could have worn the fuschia pink version of this dress and really stood out, but this was her sister’s night to shine.

The neckline of Rosana Pastor’s blue satin dress is exquisite.

I love her Jimmy Choo Corsica strappy sandals, but for me they don’t work with the dress.

Elena Ballesteros style is impeccable here. I would rock this look in a heart-beat.

The Spanish actress wore Chanel cropped jacket, with black leggings and black sandals. She added touches of colour with her white tee and red quilted clutch.

Ellen’s look has a Parisian vibe to it, J’Adore ?.

Model Blanca Romero wore a very cute gingham Christian Dior bubble hemmed dress. I love the cute bow detail on the waist, and matching grey Dior heels.

Gorgeous model Eugenia Silva added nude accessories with her black and white look.

I adore her belted blazer, and I am happy to finally seen one of those mini Christian Dior Spring 2009 sheer skirts on the red carpet.

Bibiana Fernandez wore than stood out on this red carpet wearing a one-shouldered turquoise Lanvin leopard print dress. This dress may look familiar to you, and that is because Maggie Gyllenhaal wore it to the Golden Globe Awards earlier this year.

Bibi’s funky look is completed with a gold pair of Christian Louboutin multi buckle sandals.

I was drawn to Cayetana Guillen Cuervo’s white Juanjo Oliva Spring 2009 dress, because of the origami bow.

Normally this kind of bold detail puts me off, but it really works well here.

Actress Veronica Sanchez works an oversized blazer look, which is very much a trend right now.

Her check pants and French Connection wooden clutch, complete this laid back chic look.
