Nicole Scherzinger In IIJIN & Vintage Bird – X Factor Liverpool Auditions

The search for the next big thing continues, with Nicole Scherzinger in the judges seat for the X Factor Auditions in Liverpool on Tuesday (June 20).

Nicole combined her skin tight vintage Bird leather pants and a military inspired IIJIN jacket, with a white vest adding a softer touche to this look.

The smaller details, in particular, were genius.

I love the Alexis Bittar earrings, but they feel a bit much when paired with the jacket.

Classic Dsquared2 pumps, slick back hair with a bronzed glow completed her look.

What do you make of this look?

Chic, dated or too heavy for what was the hottest day of the year in London yesterday?

Malin Akerman In Yanina Couture – Monte Carlo TV Festival Closing Ceremony

Malin Akerman was back on bold form for the Monte Carlo TV Festival Closing Ceremony where she had been promoting ‘Billions’.

I love the colourful floral details and rainbow edging on her dramatic floor-sweeping Yanina Spring 2017 Couture gown.

There was nothing shy and retiring about this playful number.

I particularly like the swept up hairstyle which lets us get a better look at her Jacquie Aiche earrings and Borgioni ear cuff.

A Devi Kroell clutch and Djula ring completed the uplifting vibe oozing from this look.

Pretty and carefree, wouldn’t you agree?

Who Wore Juan Carlos Obando Better? Blake Lively or Tinashe?

Blake Lively was the first to wear this stunning bold red Juan Carlos Obando Fall 2016 long asymmetrical tank dress with the matching trousers and scarf while promoting ‘Cafe Society’ during Cannes Film Festival.

The pregnant star look radiant, as ever, styling her look with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

While I understand why Blake opted for the waist-tie, I love how Tinashe styled her two-piece look to the 2016 VMAs.

Tinashe wins for me.

Rita Ora In Ellery – Out In New York

Rita Ora continued to think inside the box for her New York City street style, when she was seen out and about to promote her new single ‘Your Song’ on Tuesday (June 20).

Donning another boxy suit—this version hailed from the Ellery Resort 2018 collection— she not only embraced the out-sized shape but also another radiant colour in this sky-blue hue.

Slightly off-kilter with its alignment of white buttons and baggy, borrowed-from-the-boys pants, the suit still suffered no lack of sophistication on Rita who dictates this silhouette quite well.

I love how she brought a sleek edge to the proportions with her straight locks, glam pink shades, and blush sandals.

The vote was split on her boxy lime-green suit from yesterday. How does this one fare?

Jennifer Lopez In Gucci – World of Dance

For the ‘World of Dance’ episodes 4, 5, and 6 on NBC, judge and executive producer Jennifer Lopez will be seen in a look that is classic J. Lo.

Wearing a sequin pussybow Gucci top with a blue-and-red trimmed Gucci skirt, she put her Jenny from the Block edge on this playful ensemble.

There was a sweet, twee spirit to the top and the skirt was obviously made quite mini in form to fit within her leggy standards.

But, the sleek colour palette and sassy Jimmy Choo pumps kept the look in youthfully sophisticated form. Would you agree?

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Alexander McQueen – Royal Ascot 2017

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge was the epitome of gracious charm at the Royal Ascot 2017 on Tuesday (June 20).

We all know how masterfully the house of Alexander McQueen can use lace, and that was proven true again here in this floral lace frock that fit Catherine like a dream.

In addition to the fresh enchantment of the dress that was likely customized to align with the Ascot dress code, Catherine’s styling on this occasion only served to enhance the effect.

From the pink Loeffler Randall clutch, to the nude Gianvito Rossi suede heels, to the sophisticated whimsy of the complementary fascinator, all the pieces worked in concert to elevate the classic allure of the look.

You even have to smile at her name tag that spells out: HRH The Duchess of Cambridge.
