Runway To “Start Without You” Music Video Shoot – Alexandra Burke In Alexander Wang

In LA yesterday Alexandra Burke was bursting with her usual high energy and personality on the set of the music video for her latest single, “Start Without You”.

She showed off her legs in a pair of Topshop denim hotpants, which she teamed with an Alexander Wang striped crop top and a pair of tasseled Office heels.

Her mentor Cheryl Cole (or Tweedy as she’s now going to call herself *shudders*) has also been seen wearing this same top.

Alexandra’s top was modified slightly to be sleeveless, plus she tied her top in a knot at the back to make it more fitted.

In some other scenes we see Alexandra wearing a straw hat and driving a large ice cream van.

I like the look, not so crazy about those heels.

Diane Von Furstenberg And Claridge’s Launch Party – Victoria Beckham In Giles

Last night Victoria Beckham was the star attraction at the “Diane Von Furstenberg and Claridge’s party” to celebrate Diane’s interior designs of 20 rooms and suites for the luxury London hotel.

Victoria looked great, but seriously this Giles Fall 2009 dress again.

It excusable – to some degree – to wear a dress after someone else, but Victoria must have remembered that she’d already worn this dress once/twice before.

Once in the same gunmetal grey for the LG Fashion ads, and once in a salmon colour for the Bergdorf Goodman celebration of Fashion’s Night Out back in September last year.

Like at the Bergdorf Goodman party, Victoria paired her Giles dress with thigh-high boots.

On that occasion they were Gucci, last night they were black suede Brian Atwood ‘RZ’ boots. ‘RZ’ short for Rachel Zoe who collaborated with the designer on his Fall 2010 collection.

I’m very surprised that VB wore thigh-high boots on one of London’s hottest days of the year.

The look was paired with Anita Ko rose gold and diamond spike bracelet and a Lanvin Oulala satin clutch.

I really shocked by this. When did VB become so boring and repetitive?

It’s one thing to wear the same look at Heathrow and LAX, but on the red carpet I expect more from her.

Who Wore Vintage Halston Better? Marisa Tomei or Rachel Zoe

It’s rare to see celebs wearing the same vintage piece, but we all know that Rachel Zoe has a huge vintage Halston collection.

At the 2010 Vanity Fair Oscar Party back in March, Marisa Tomei wore her deep blue bugle beaded vintage Halston dress from Decades with a black satin obi sash tied to the waist.

Her look was paired with Sergio Rossi heels and H Stern jewels.

Rachel Zoe wore her dress to the CFDA Fashion Awards with the Casadei 3504 triple platform pumps she made famous with her A list clients.

Although I wish Marisa wore her dress without such a wide belt, I do love the deeper plunge.

I don’t think I can ever truly love or even like a look with those Casadei heels, so Marisa wins for me.

Bing’s Celebration for Creative Minds After Party – Zoe Saldana In Hervé Léger by Max Azria

Zoe Saldana was one of the many guests to walk the red carpet at Bing’s Celebration for Creative Minds after party in LA last night.

My first reaction to her wearing this grey Hervé Léger by Max Azria Fall 2010 dress was disappointment.

Not because she wore the dress after Eva Longoria….oh who am I kidding?

That’s exactly the reason I was unimpressed with this look.

There were 32 looks in this collection, surely Zoe could’ve picked another one.

We rely on Zoe to bring us something fresh and new, much like Diane Kruger who are rarely on WWIB? polls, so this repeat look barely raises a smile from me.

Pewter Ferragamo heels and a matching clutch complete her look.

2010 Public Theater Gala – Naomi Watts In Stella McCartney

Yesterday Naomi Watts attended the 2010 Public Theater Gala in New York City with her partner Liev Schreiber.

The couple complemented each other really well.

He was decked out in casual grey suit, whilst Naomi wore a Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2010 ensemble.

Her look consisted of a silk Stella McCartney white top paired with Stella McCartney nude cropped pants.

I adore this summery Pre-Fall look, especially the way she scrunched up her pants.

Her tan clutch and grey sandals perfected the look.

I’m really loving all the casual summer looks on the red carpet lately.  Mostly because it means I can copy them.
