Runway To “Race” Broadway Opening Night – Kerry Washington In Marchesa

It’s colourful.

It’s pink.

It’s embellished.

It’s Marchesa.

It’s gorgeous…so of course I’m in love.

At the Broadway Opening Night for “Race” Kerry Washington wore a cute Marchesa Spring 2010 pink duchess satin draped cocktail dress with a stunning embroidered bodice.

I hope those of you who think she’s boring will finally at least like this look.

I would’ve loved to have seen this look with all her hair back, other than that she looks amazing.

The British Independent Film Awards

Carey Mulligan has yet to put a foot wrong on the red carpet.

This red Bottega Veneta Spring 2010 looks simple yet still chic on the young actress, who won Actress of the Year at this event.

Her look is paired with Sergio Rossi black stamped suede gladiators heels, and black Bottega Veneta origami patent clutch.

I’ve been missing a lot of drama from Eva Green recently.

She doesn’t disappoint on this occasion, as she wore this ultra dramatic red and black feather print Alexander McQueen cowl neck gown.

This is a head turning look, which the actress amps up with smokey eyes, tousled bed hair and a bold lip colour.

Definitely a contender for BDOTW.

Gemma Arterton didn’t get the “red” memo, as she opted for a classic LBD with a twist.

The twist was the poufy shoulders.

The dress fails to excite, but I love the hair and make-up.

Who Wore Chanel Better? Isabel Lucas or Anna Mouglalis

Isabel Lucas wore this Chanel number back in October to “Spike TV’s Scream 2009”.

I love her bare legs look and the way she has shed the runway cardi to reveal the fab embellishment on the dress. Top marks for the nude shoes too!

Anna Mouglalis wore the same dress in November to the “OTM dinner hosted by Babeth Dijan”.

I’m not a fan of the thick tights and really think that this dress works best without the cardi. With that said, I love the darks eyes.

For me, Isabel steals the show for keeping this look young and fresh.

Heidi Montag’s Obsession – Oversized Bags

Heidi Montag loves an overzsized bag as we have seen her carry several on numerous occasions.

The strange thing is, each time she doesn’t appear to be carrying much inside the bag.

The colossal Hermès Haut à Courroies (HAC) is big enough for Heidi to actually fit inside. This bag is purely for show.

It looks even bigger than the large Hermes Birkin, we saw Katie Holmes toting around town last year.

Posing outside her New York Midtown hotel, Heidi showed off her the YSL ‘Y’ bag.

This surely had more street cred when Kate Moss was seen out and about with the ‘Y’ for company in October.

Last year Heidi and her sky blue Balenciaga ‘City’ bag were inseparable.

This year she has simply super-sized her hold-all and picked up two ‘Crocodile Weekender’ bags both in blue.

Careful now Heidi, we wouldn’t want one of those bags to swallow you up…

The Hollywood Reporter’s Annual Women In Entertainment Breakfast

I’ve been falling out of love with Eva Longoria’s style for a long time now.

To this event she wore an Loewe Fall 2009 tank dress with an interesting skirt of embellishments and velvet layers.

On the model wow, on Eva meh???

It looks like she’s wearing a size too big for her.

Her standard Trib Two’s and very obvious extensions don’t float my boat either.

This is a very rare occasion in which Halle Berry’s look is not all about her cleavage.

Her tweed Giambattista Valli skirt suit, is perfectly sophisticated for the event as is her nude make-up.

Hilary Swank seems to have a think for blue at the moment.

Her last 3 red carpet looks have all been blue including this short blue jersey dress with a slashed neckline which shows off her stunning figure.

Chanel Pre Fall 2010

Shanghai provided the backdrop for Lagerfeld’s Chanel Pre Fall 2010 collection.

Shown on a docked pontoon on the Huangpu River you can see how the pieces echo Shanghai’s rich history.

I love the Oriental prints and Lagerfeld’s take on the traditional Qipao dress.

My favourite piece though is the shaggy fur coat with the red embellished collar. I just love the contrast of these two textures.

Quilting was another theme seen here and the black quilted trench coat is such a strong piece.

I’ve been practically drooling over the Camellias embroidered leggings.

There was also a strong nod to the military theme with quilted vests, a twist on the comrade cap and khaki green.

This collection is deliciously extragvagant and is everything we expect from Chanel and then some!

The Liverpool Style Awards 2009

In the US you know a trend has died when Heidi Montag starts wearing it, in the UK we have WAGS.

Alex Curran is a WAG to Liverpool and England footballer Steven Gerrard.

She would rank #2 in the world of WAGs after Colleen Rooney.

Here she has opted for a head-to-toe Balmain Fall 2009 look including a blue blouse accented with a crystal bow,  a leather quilted skirt, and buckle boots from the same collection.

From my break down on Shop Her Closet her look comes to a total of £8,205.

I hate to admit it, but I don’t hate her look

New WAG on the block is Amanda Harrington, girlfriend of Manchester City’s Joey Barton.

She arrived wearing frightful hair and make-up with her Temperley London Alexandria embellished silk tunic.

The bordeaux silk tunic has a beautiful gold and black detail on the yoke and fly away short sleeves.

Her tunic was paired with “Pretty Woman” style thigh-high boots.

Former actress Sheree Murphy is the wife of Harry Kewell who plays for Galatasaray and Australia.

She wore a Luella corseted jacquard mini dress which has to be my favourite look of all these girls.

She’s the only one who doesn’t appear to be trying too hard, and her metallic jacquard mini dress is adorable.

The WAG paired her dress with YSL Trib Two’s.
