Sarah Jessica Parker In Antonio Berardi – “I Don’t Know How She Does It” New York Premiere

Sarah Jessica Parker attended the New York Premiere of her latest movie, “I Don’t Know How She Does It” last night.

The actress chose an Antonio Berardi dress for her big night.

Her black crochet maxi features extra trim running down the centre back of the dress.

SJP accessorized with black pointed-toe pumps and a silk black clutch.

Blonde wavy hair and summery makeup complemented her tan.

Unfortunately I’m not that excited about this look.  I was expected something a lot more inspiring from SJP.

Some killer, stand-out accessories would’ve got me excited.

This feels a bit flat for a New York Premiere.

She’s had much better looks during this promotional tour.

Jenny Packham Spring 2012

Jenny Packham’s Spring 2012 collection showcased signature feminine glamour during New York Fashion Week yesterday.

We saw a rainbow of beautiful colours including brightly coloured azure blues, geranium reds, sunset oranges, lemon drop yellows and citrus limes alongside bright whites.

I loved the flapper-style beaded dresses which were super chic and the bead work was outstanding.

Asymmetrical hemlines fluttered down the runway as did maxi dresses, flowing gowns and cocktail dresses.

Jenny’s celebrity fans will love the embellished tops and white lace shorts if they are looking for something other than a gown or a dress.

Christian Louboutin provided the models colourful strappy sandals and  Jenny Packham designed the jewels with Swarovski elements.

Front Rows: Mandy Moore and Shantel VanSanten

Favourites: Silk chiffon dress with organza trimmed hems and French Chantilly beaded lace tea dress

Who I See Wearing This Collection: Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Mandy Moore, Leighton Meester, Taylor Swift, Kerry Washington, Elisabeth Moss, Alice St. Clair, Reese Witherspoon, Sophia Bush, Cat Deeley, Dita von Teese, Anne Hathaway, Blake Lively, Nikki Reed, Anna Kendrick, Elisabeth Moss,

Lucy Liu In 3.1 Phillip Lim – Katie Gallagher Presentation

Lucy Liu attended the Katie Gallagher presentation held during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York yesterday.

The actress chose to wear a dress from 3.1. Phillip’s Lim Spring 2011 collection.

Her sleeveless nude dress which features thick black piping and is fitted at the waist was paired with some colourful pieces including red Charlotte Olympia Dolores textured cotton platform pumps and a purple leather bag.

The dress, which has also been worn by Amber Heard, looks great on Lucy and I love her bold accessories.

Once again the red shoe trend continues to become more and more popular on the red carpet and we are loving it.

Long may it continue…until we get bored of it of course.

Lucy completed her look with slick straight hair and barely there makeup.

Abbie Cornish In Elie Saab – “W.E.” Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Last night Abbie Cornish was sitting front row at the Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2012 presentation during New York Fashion Week, tonight she’s attending the Toronto Film Festival Premiere of her latest movie, “W.E.”

She was radiant wearing an Elie Saab Spring 2009 gown.

I love that she went back into the archives to pick this ivory beaded gown with a tiered chiffon overlay detail.

This is one gown that should be worn on the red carpet.

Some of you may argue that she maybe a tad overdressed for Toronto, but if I was given this gown I would want to wear it on the first possible occasion.

Tumbling waves fell down her back as she accessorized with a silver clutch and silver jewels.

Emily Blunt In Prada – “Your Sister’s Sister” Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Emily Blunt hit the red carpet yesterday for the Toronto Film Festival Premiere of her latest movie, “Your Sister’s Sister.”

The British actress wore a Prada colour-block dress.

Her pink and black cady silk cap sleeve dress has a red bow accent at the waist.

I wish her Prada black suede double strap heels were less heavy, because they’re weighing down the look.

Why are stars so afraid of a cute strappy sandal?

A simple updo and a pretty pink clutch completed Emily’s look.

NYFW Day 5 – What I Wore Today

Today traveled like an editor in a chauffeur driven car provided by Edit New York.

I wore a gorgeous Alexander Wang printed silk-chiffon wrap dress.

I paired the dress with a Zara navy blazer, Zara mustard heels and an Alexander Wang ‘Anita’ structured leather bag (my new obsession) to the Jenny Packham, Carolina Herrera, Preen, Reem Acra, Rachel Zoe and Alice + Olivia shows.

I will also wear the same dress later on tonight to the Marc by Marc Jacobs show and Mulberry 40th birthday party.

It’s kind hard to see from the picture, but the dress has artful graffiti scribbles and paint splatters in typical Wang eccentric fashion.
