Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Smythe & J Brand – 2012 London Olympic Games

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has been showing her support for the British athletes, especially Zara Phillips, during the 2012 London Olympic Games.

In order to ensure all eyes are on the athletes, she stuck to a navy-and-white look/uniform on Monday and Tuesday.

She wore a Smythe blazer, which she first wore at Heathrow airport back in May last year, with J Brand ‘811’ mid-rise skinny jeans in navy twill.

Whilst she changed her white polo top from day one to a navy striped top for day two, she opted for the same Stuart Weitzman Corkswoon platform wedges on both days.

Who Wore Lanvin Better? Charlize Theron or Rachel Weisz

Charlize Theron was first seen wearing this Lanvin sleeveless dress from the Fall 2012 collection while busy promoting her summer flicks, ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ and ‘Prometheus’ on ‘The Today Show’, back in May.

The blonde bombshell accessorized with Christian Louboutin ‘Decoupata’ ankle booties, which certainly spice up this rather ‘careful’ look for the bold actress. However, little did we know she wouldn’t be the only actress to flaunt her sexy bod in this simple-looking frock.

Rachel Weisz took the same approach while also promoting her latest flick ‘The Bourne Legacy’ on ‘Good Morning America’ in New York City this week, exactly two months later wearing the emerald-green version of the dress.

The British actress paired her dress with nude lace-up Gianvito Rossi peep-toe heels and left the rest of her look clean. The sleeveless chic number shows off her svelte frame to a tee.

Both stars certainly have the figure to pull of this neoprene sheath dress, but I’m not exactly crazy about the design on either; it’s kind of a safe choice for both, but appropriate for morning television shows.

However, I’m partial to side with Rachel as I like her choice of Gianvito Rossi heels with the green frock better.

Keira Knightley For Harper’s Bazaar UK September 2012

Keira Knightley graces the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK wearing Chanel, of course.

The Hollywood A-lister and face of Chanel perfume ‘Mademoiselle’, was shot by Ellen Von Unwerth across an 11 page spread which sees the actress channel a bewitching look dressed in gothic inspired creations from Gucci, Lanvin, Chanel, Balenciaga and L’Wren Scott.

Keira talks to the mag about Karl Lagerfeld, coming into her own after turning 25 and her admiration for ‘Anna Karenina’ co-stars Jude Law and Aaron Johnson.

Below are some extracts from her interview, but be sure to pick up this issue to see Keira’s full editorial and interview when the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar goes on sale Thursday 2nd August, plus it is also available as digital edition.

On feeling more comfortable with life after turning 25: “I hated late teens, I hated early twenties, all of that, I think a lot of people do. Possibly I think I’m one of those people that always would have done and it didn’t really matter where I was in life. But I was totally uncomfortable in everything. And all of a sudden 25 hit, and I was like, ‘Ah, I think I’m all right’. And actually after 25 it’s been pretty good. I definitely feel like I’ve been around the block a couple of times, and that’s great.” Read More…

Devon Aoki In Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti – Lexus ‘Laws of Attraction’ Exhibition

Devon Aoki also attended the Lexus ‘Laws of Attraction’ exhibition at Metreon in San Francisco, California yesterday.

The actress/model opted for a more laidback look wearing a Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti halter maxi dress.

Her blue-and-white nautical print dress with a keyhole detail, was accented with a blue leather waistband to cinch in her waist.

Light makeup and statement earrings completed her look.

Jaime King In Giambattista Valli – Lexus ‘Laws of Attraction’ Exhibition

Jaime King poses in front of the Lexus display vehicle at the Lexus ‘Laws of Attraction’ exhibition at Metreon in San Francisco, California yesterday.

The ‘Hart of Dixie’ actress wore a Giambattista Valli Pre-Fall 2012 tan-and-red two-tone dress with wedges from the same collection.

Her twisted, off the shoulder cape panelled dress ages her drastically and the length is matronly.

Jaime looked young, cool and modern in her Stella McCartney dress on from Sunday, but this look has the opposite effect.
