Who Wore Cushnie et Ochs Better? Teresa Palmer or Ciara

Australian actress Teresa Palmer chose this super sexy white Cushnie et Ochs dress to “I Am Number Four” Paris Premiere back in March.

The body-hugging dress features a train in the back, which drapes asymmetrically from the waist.

She accessorized with a black patent leather cuff and matching black Aldo heels.

Curled hair in a loosely pulled back ponytail and gorgeous makeup fresh with a hint of candy pink lipstick completed her look

Ciara wore the same dress to “The Hangover: Part II” New York screening last month.

The singer chose to accessorize with shoe of the moment Christian Louboutin ‘Daffodil’ heels in nude plus gold cuffs.

Wavy black hair with blonde streaks completed her look.

This dress looks amazing on both women and even though I prefer how it looks on Teresa, plus I adore her hair and makeup, her incredibly poor shoe choice makes Ciara my winner.

Ciara’s shoe choice fits the sexy attitude of the dress much better than a pair of simple black heels.

Salma Hayek In Gucci – “Il Mondo Vi Appartiene” Dinner

Excuse me whilst I pick my chin off my desk.

As always Salma Hayek floor me again tonight (as she always does in Gucci) when she arrived at the ‘Il Mondo Vi Appartiene’ Dinner during the 54th International Art Biennale at Fondazione Cini in Venice, Italy this evening.

My favourite Gucci brand ambassador once again does the brand proud by looking sensational wearing a one-of-a-kind Gucci one shoulder maroon dress.

The fully embroidered fitted dress was paired with a matching crepe shrug.

As much I’m dying to see the full affect of the dress without the shrug, it does add an air of sophistication to the overall look.

Despite this being as close to perfection as perfection can be and the fact this look is perfect for the occasion, I would’ve loved to have seen this look as a gown.

Does anyone else agree?

A sweeping updo, a multi-coloured snake-skin clutch and matching peep-toes completed this look.

Miranda Kerr In Roland Mouret & Azzedine Alaia – Kia South Korea Event

Miranda Kerr always looks picture perfect and that was definitely the case when she attended the Kia press conference in Seoul, South Korea earlier today.

She was glistening (literally) as she showed-off her well-toned figure into a form-fitting Roland Mouret Macha stretch dress from the Fall 2011 collection which she wore with tortoise shell pumps.

I could’ve lived without the necklace, but I do love the clutch.

I was particularly taken by her second look for the Kia dinner the same evening.

She swapped into a light grey Azzedine Alaïa dress which she paired with suede heels and same clutch.

This look for me is absolutely stunning.

I hope the week allows for this look to find a spot on the BDOTW list.

Blake Lively For Glamour US July 2011

The gorgeous Blake Lively shows just how beautiful she is on the cover of the July 2011 issue of Glamour US wearing Michael Kors Fall 2011 look.

The actress was interviewed by BFF Florence Welch who got Blake to opened up about prepping for red carpet events and her penchant to play darker roles.

Her stunning editorial sees her wearing Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, Stella McCartney, Marc by Marc Jacobs and many more designers shot by Terry Tsiolis.

You can read the full interview at Glamour.com, but here are some extracts.

On twitter: “People ask me why I don’t tweet. Honestly, I’m so sick of myself.”

On becoming the new face of Chanel’s Mademoiselle handbag: “It’s such an honor. When I found out I got [the job], you and I went to dinner and concocted this plan, like two little girls at a tea party, saying, “Oh, it would be the best if we had a party. And you’ll perform, and we’ll do it in Paris.” Like you and I were in charge of Chanel!”

On being her own stylist: “I think I became my own stylist by not knowing any better. And once I was told it was time to get one, I thought: This is one of my favorite hobbies! And I’m going to pay someone to steal my hobby from me? That’s a terrible idea!” Read More…

Patty Hou In YSL – Music Golden Melody Award Announcement

The 22nd Golden Melody Awards takes place in Taiwan on June 18.

Host Patty Hou was on hand to announce the nominees at a press conference this week.

The beautiful star opted to wear a head-to-toe YSL Spring 2011 look straight off the runway.

She wore a black YSL cotton-piqué halterneck top which she paired with the YSL runway split-front two-tone cotton-canvas skirt and YSL Trybal suede wedge sandals which we’ve seen on Zoe Saldana.

I love that I can strike this look off my red carpet wish list.

Whilst some of us long for stars to break up runway looks, I think this look may have lost its original appeal had it been paired with other pieces.

I love this so much I would consider putting it up for BDOTW if ya’ll agree.

You can purchase this whole look on Net-A-Porter.com.

Heidi Klum In Isabel Marant – Aol Photoshoot

Whilst many of us were struggling to get out of bed following a long (Memorial/Bank Holiday) weekend yesterday, Heidi Klum was back to work in West Hollywood.

The TV host was spotted stepping out of Frederic Fekkai salon following a photo shoot for her fashion & beauty website in conjunction with Aol called heidiklum.aol.com.

She was very much camera ready wearing a summery look which included a white tee which she paired with an ivory black trimmed Isabel Marant jacket with Isabel Marant striped cropped jeans from the Spring 2010 collection.

Kate Moss is a huge fan of these pants.

As always some sexy sandals would’ve been preferred or those bow front Isabel Marant pumps to the python slingbacks she opted for.

The X Factor UK Judges Birmingham Auditions

It’s only day one of the X Factor UK Birmingham auditions and already the new judges are in locked in a bitter “style war.”

Last year it was Cheryl Cole vs. Dannii Minogue, this year it’s Kelly Rowland vs. Tulisa Contostavlos.

Both ladies have very different styles.

Despite the big hype both looked quite meh today.

Kelly tried waaaaay too hard wearing a neon yellow lace Twenty8Twelve cropped top with a black mini skirt and the appropriately named Lady ‘Daf’ Louboutin pumps

I was more pleasantly surprised by Tulisa who was more demure wearing a black DKNY jumpsuit with red sandals.

I’m sure as time goes on designers will start throwing clothes at these two.

Remember how Cheryl went from Alice + Olivia and Topshop to Atelier Versace and Stéphane Rolland? I can’t see that happening on this occasion, but you never know.
