Who Wore Mary Katrantzou Better? Cameron Silver or Henry Holland

Cameron Silver, owner of vintage emporium Decades Inc., wore a colourful floral Mary Katrantzou suit, inspired by her Spring 2012 womenswear collection, whilst attending the LAXART Ball Of Artists Event in Beverly Hills, California, back in January.

He wore his custom-made suit with an Alexis Mabille peacock-feathered butterfly bow tie and Christian Louboutin ‘Havana Trash’ shoes.

On Monday, designer Henry Holland posted a picture on his Vogue blog wearing the same suit.

He opted for a black shirt to Cameron’s white, which works equally well.

I like that Cameron wasn’t afraid to go a few steps further with this look with his bow tie and shoes, so he wins for me.

Kate Winslet In Jenny Packham – Titanic 3D World Premiere

I think my heart just stopped.

Kate Winslet looked sensational as she took to the red carpet on a warm sunny evening in London for the ‘Titanic 3D’ world premiere at the Royal Albert Hall.

Looking as regal as ever, the actress glided down the red carpet wearing a Jenny Packham gown.

Her bespoke Jenny Packham black silk-crepe gown with Swarovski crystal cap sleeves and a waist detail was inspired by the British designer’s Fall 2012 Film Noir collection.

Yes, it’s another black gown from Kate, but she pulls out all the stops to make this an epic look which we will no doubt be adding to our BDOTY lists.

A chic wavy updo, silver jewels and a dark pink lip colour completed her look.

When she’s good, she’s damn good.

Fan Bingbing In Tadashi Shoji – Mmax Future Pictures Festival

Fan Bingbing was also one of the attendees at the Mmax Future Pictures Festival at Guoan Theater in Beijing, China, yesterday evening.

The Asian actress wore a Tadashi Shoji Spring 2012 dress.

Some of you will be shocked to learn that I really dislike this look.

Firstly because this white-and-nude tulle cocktail dress washes her out, but most importantly because I’m so over those nude Christian Louboutin ‘Lady Daf’ pumps; she’s been wearing them since Fall 2011 Fashion Week. I’m praying she doesn’t pack them for Cannes.

The hat was aimed to add some fun to her look, but I don’t like the hat or the nude fishnet tights.

For me this is a rare misstep for the usually flawless Fan Bingbing.

Kate Beckinsale wore this same dress last year.

Emma Roberts In YSL – Metropolitan Opera Gala Premiere Of Jules Massenet’s ‘Manon’

I’m going to really surprise you all by saying that Emma Roberts was my favourite on the red carpet at the Metropolitan Opera Gala Premiere of Jules Massenet’s ‘Manon’ in New York City last night.

She opted for a black YSL strapless jumpsuit with a sweetheart neckline, which was accessorised with a metallic red flower belt and black YSL clutch.

The back wasn’t better than her front and no chokers were involved in this look, thankfully.

She looked the most relaxed and effortless, whilst still maintaining that fresh, youthful sparkle.

Black satin YSL platform pumps and a side-parted hairdo completed her look.

Huo Siyan In Prabal Gurung – Mmax Future Pictures Festival

Huo Siyan was one of the many stars who attended the Mmax Future Pictures Festival at Guoan Theater in Beijing, China, yesterday evening.

The actress wore a Prabal Gurung Spring 2012 blazer, which she belted, with a short white flared dress.

I love that she opted for a solid-colour dress to allow her purple-and-cream floral-print wool-silk blazer to be the focus of this look.

Whilst I love the blazer, Huo Siyan lets herself down with disappointing footwear.

They just don’t work with her overall look and take it down a more formal, business-like path.

You can buy Huo Siyan’s Prabal Gurung blazer from Browns Fashion and Luisa via Roma.

Chloe Moretz In YSL – Metropolitan Opera Gala Premiere Of Jules Massenet’s ‘Manon’

Chloe Moretz dressed to impress whilst taking to the red carpet for the Metropolitan Opera Gala Premiere of Jules Massenet’s ‘Manon’ in New York City last night.

As you know I haven’t been the greatest fan of Chloe’s red-carpet looks which are often too mature, nor have I been a fan of her over pouting, but she nailed this look.

Her blue YSL tiered gown with a black velvet bow was event appropriate without feeling too mature and her YSL clutch and Trib Too pumps were complementary.

The only thing I would change about this look is the choker. She didn’t need it.
