Allison Williams In Dolce & Gabbana – Museum Of The Moving Image Honors Richard Plepler & Charlie Rose

Allison Williams In Dolce & Gabbana - Museum Of The Moving Image Honors Richard Plepler & Charlie Rose

Allison Williams attended the Museum Of The Moving Image event honouring Richard Plepler and Charlie Rose at the Saint Regis Hotel on Wednesday (June 11) in New York City.

Dolce & Gabbana’s signature glamorous aesthetic is perfectly expressed in this fitted, floor-sweeping bustier gown of delicate floral white lace.

Keeping the accessories to a bare minimum with Coomi jewels and styling the look with wavy tresses and flawless makeup was the right choice to allow her natural beauty and the frock to shine.

This is one of my favourite looks from her.

Kerry Washington In Sportmax – Women In Film 2014 Crystal + Lucy Awards

Kerry Washington In Sportmax Fall 2014 - Women In Film 2014 Crystal + Lucy Awards

Kerry Washington attended the Women In Film 2014 Crystal + Lucy Awards at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Wednesday (June 11) in Century City, California where she picked up the 2014 Lucy Award for Excellence in Television.

The actress, who was making her first appearance on the red carpet following the birth of her first child, wore a Sportmax Fall 2014 black V-neck cap-sleeved top and splatter-paint skirt with a sheer hemline, omitting the wide belt to show that she’s already back in perfect shape.

While I’m not a fan of the Tupperware-plasticky clutch, the orange Christian Louboutin ‘Geo’ colourful studded toecap pumps and orange lips are the perfect way to style this look.

Great to see her back to her best.

You may remember that Taylor Schilling wore this same skirt to the Webby Awards last month.

Bellamy Young In Naeem Khan – 54th Monte Carlo Television Festival Closing Ceremony

Bellamy Young In Naeem Khan - 54th Monte Carlo Television Festival Closing Ceremony

Bellamy Young attended the closing ceremony of the 54th Monte Carlo Television Festival on Wednesday (June 11) in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

The ‘Scandal’ actress must have caused quite a stir with that plunging neckline on her Naeem Khan Spring 2014 black long-sleeved trumpet gown.

My eyes should’ve headed straight to the divine white floral embroidery, but they didn’t.

As the saying goes, if you’ve got it flaunt it; thankfully, though, she didn’t decide to flaunt it à la LaLa Anthony.

A red pout, black clutch, selection of silver jewels and wavy updo completed her look.

Rose Byrne arrived at the Women In Film 2014 Crystal + Lucy Awards held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Wednesday (June 11) in Century City, California where she picked up the 2014 Women In Film MaxMara ‘Face of the Future’ award.

Once again she wore Max Mara, this time selecting a shimmering silver lame jumpsuit that made quite an impressive statement.

With the layered top and pleated wide-leg trousers, this chic piece exudes effortless glamour, which she amped up with the smoky eyes and Pomellato jewels.

A Rauwolf clutch completed her look.

Ana Ortiz arrived at the closing ceremony of the 54th Monte Carlo Television Festival on Wednesday (June 11) in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

The ‘Devious Maids’ actress wore a Badgley Mischka Spring 2014 V-neck gown enriched with shimmering crystals and intricate beadwork on a layer of lace which trails behind in a short train.

Keeping the colours neutral, she added a blush clutch, shimmering pink lip colour and Danielle Queller jewels to complete her look.

Sophia Bush In Fleur du Mal – Maxim’s Hot 100 Women Of 2014 Celebration

Sophia Bush In Fleur du Mal - Maxim's Hot 100 Women Of 2014 Celebration
Sophia Bush joined Laura Vandervoort at the Maxim Hot 100 celebration event, hosted on Tuesday (June 10) at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California.

The actress and Maxim’s April cover girl, who had also impressed that day at the MaxMara and W Magazine cocktail party, continued her trendsetting streak in a Fleur du Mal frock.

As can be expected, the sheer dress, which featured an embellished, rubberized look, delivered on the event’s ‘skin-is-in’ attitude.

The longer sleeves, not to mention the more classic lines of the undergarments, went a long way in helping the dress to maintain a slightly more refined footing amid its sexy edge.

On-trend, emerald-green ear cuffs, a casual ponytail and a bubblegum-pink lip brought some unexpected charm to the darker, moodier look, which she also accessorized with a Rauwolf clutch and black Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals.

We’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to the ubiquitous see-through craze. Did Sophia’s version stay on the right side of sultry?
