Anne Hathaway In Mary Katrantzou – Good Morning America

Anne Hathaway In Mary Katrantzou Fall 2014 - Good Morning America

Anne Hathaway made a guest appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ taped at ABC Studios in New York City on Tuesday (April 8) to promote ‘Rio 2’, which hits theatres on Friday (April 11).

Right off the bat she said “I’m nowhere near as awake as [previous guest] Rob Lowe. I’m the guest you wake up with.”

She then gushed about Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, saying “I think she’s lovely. She makes me very happy and that royal wedding just could not be beat.”

After wearing separates and boyish suits for recent appearances, on this occasion she wore a navy-and-burgundy cookie-cutter-print Mary Katrantzou jacquard dress featuring a fitted cut emphasized with a girly flared skirt from the commercial Fall 2014 collection.

While most of us are embracing spring, this look tells me that New York is perhaps still experiencing some milder temperatures.

The look was styled with tights, Casadei ‘Blade’ pumps and braided hair.

Kate Moss For Topshop Spring Summer 2014 Collection

Kate Moss’s highly anticipated Spring/Summer 2014 collection for Topshop hits stores this month following a four-year hiatus.

The collection includes a wide range of styles, including pyjama-inspired pieces, cocktail dresses, beautifully tailored blazers and trousers, which, as always, are inspired by pieces from Kate’s closet. One piece is actually an exact replica of the Saint Laurent fringe jacket we’ve seen her wearing. The collection also has a section called Balearic Dressing, which features kaftans and smock dresses paying homage to the Balearic Islands, her favourite summertime destination.

Prices in the Kate Moss line range from approx £30 to £600 for the heavily hand-beaded pieces; the collection will be available in-store and online at Topshop, Nordstrom and, for the first time, on April 30.

Below is the lookbook as modelled by Kate herself, and click through to see the full 46-piece collection.

Gemma Arterton & Mollie King In Gucci – ‘The Director’ London Screening

Gemma Arterton & Mollie King In Gucci - 'The Director' London Screening

Gucci and Vanity Fair in association with Fashion & Cinema hosted the UK premiere of James Franco’s documentary film ‘The Director’ at the Curzon Cinema in Mayfair, London on Tuesday (April 8).

Gemma Arterton: The British actress kept it casual in simple separates which you and I would wear to the cinema, adding a Gucci fluid metallic canvas double-breasted trench coat, Gucci black loafers with the signature gold horsebit details and a Gucci ‘Bamboo’ leather shopper tote. I love how this casual look is so high-end.

Mollie King: The British singer opted for a more dressy-casual approach, wearing a Gucci Resort 2014 look consisting of a gold knit sweater and cream silk-satin wide-leg trousers which add polish to her look while still boasting a glamorous feel. She styled her look with a selection of perspex bangles and a gold-metallic high-heeled sandal with a gold horsebit detail.
Even though they are wearing two different looks, I love the cohesive feel.

Who Wore Alexander McQueen Better…Naomie Harris or Priyanka Chopra?

Who Wore Alexander McQueen Better Naomie Harris or Priyanka Chopra

Naomie Harris stunned when she took to the red carpet for the Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom royal premiere wearing an Alexander McQueen strapless gown with a peplum detail enriched with gold embellishments.

The British actress had such an epic run promoting this movie, with this gown being very much the highlight.

With such an amazing gown worn on a world stage for such a historical occasion, I was very surprised to see Priyanka Chopra wearing the same gown to the 2014 Idea FilmFare Awards the following month.

Despite how gorgeous she looked in the gown, Naomie wins this for me. She looked the more radiant for me.

Celebrities Love…M2Malletier Bags

Celebrities Love M2Malletier Bags

Amid the crush of LVs, Chanels, Guccis and Ferragamos found on the arms of starlets everywhere is a bold newcomer on the scene. Modish mavens are clutching M2Malletier handbags, making them one of the hottest new accessories that have swiftly vaulted from near anonymity to celeb status.

Sleek meets street in these satchels, which are instantly recognizable for their architectural quality and geometric lines, not to mention the true hallmark of the label—its distinctive hardware. The shiny gold, silver or onyx bar handles on each design were originally inspired by medieval tools and armor.

The duo behind the wonder bags, Melissa Losada and Marcela Velez, envisioned a brand that preserved their Colombian roots, while infusing a sense of sophistication and spontaneity in the trend-forward designs.

With their classic yet avant-garde angles, it’s no wonder celebrities are swooping up multiple M2Malletiers, including the popular ‘La Fleur Du Mal’ model along with the ‘Fabricca,’ ‘Amor Fati’ and ‘La Collectioneuse.’ Luxe materials and progressive colours ranging from rich coral to royal purple and light avocado, along with timeless shades of black, camel, cream and dove-grey, also make a M2Malletier a must-have.

Emma Watson, Jessica Alba, Eva Mendes, Cate Blanchett, Solange Knowles, Kate Hudson and Taylor Swift are just a few of the bold names carrying the neat little purse that effortlessly transitions from edgy ensembles to girly, flirty looks and more formal entrances.

Kerry Bishé In Fitriani & Georges Hobeika – ‘Halt & Catch Fire’ Photocall & MIPTV Opening Party

Kerry Bishé In Fitriani & Georges Hobeika - 'Halt & Catch Fire' Photocall & MIPTV Opening Party

Kerry Bishé attended the ‘Halt & Catch Fire’ photo call and MIPTV opening party on Monday (April 7) in Cannes, France, where the New Zealand actress debuted two different looks.

‘Halt & Catch Fire’ Photocall: Posing at the Hotel Majestic Jetty, she wore a Fitriani midnight-navy sheath dress, swirled in a futuristic, artsy print. She punched up the kaleidoscope impact even further with the addition of bold chartreuse Kurt Geiger pumps, finishing the ensemble with a few Swarovski rings, a pretty pink lip and loose curls.

MIPTV 2014 Opening Party: Donning a far more romantic and formal look, she changed into a Georges Hobeika lavender confection for the opening event at the Hotel Martinez. The quietly graceful gown had just the right amount of edge with its sheer bodice of layered strips of fabric and a thin magenta belt to accent the flowing silhouette. She accessorized with Salvatore Ferragamo shoes, sparkling Carolee earrings and a beige Oroton clutch, which I found rather outsized and distracting for this softer statement.
