Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Calvin Klein Collection – ModelCo Black Tie Event

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Calvin Klein - ModelCo Black Tie Event

As you know, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley flew into Australia earlier this week ahead of a photoshoot with Australian beauty brand ModelCo.

They threw a fancy soiree this evening at the Hayman Island Resort on the Great Barrier Reef to welcome the British beauty into the ModelCo family.

Rosie took the belly-baring trend to a whole new level, wearing a Calvin Klein Collection Resort 2013 ivory ensemble which included a bandeau and a calf-length skirt with cut-out details at the waist.

I don’t think that there was any chance she was going to wear that overlay. Do you?

If you look closely you can see that Rosie is wearing body jewellery along with a selection of rings, a pendant necklace and bracelets, opting to mix her metals with silver strappy Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.

With sun-kissed golden tresses and a hot-pink lip colour, I am totally floored by how stunning she looks.

An easy contender for BDOTW.

Ciara In Givenchy – ‘Ciara’ Album Promotion

Ciara In Givenchy - 'Ciara' Album Promotion

Ciara promoted her imaginatively titled new album ‘Ciara’ at J&R Music World in New York City yesterday afternoon.

The singer, who’s been wearing a lot of menswear looks of late, wore a menswear-inspired Givenchy look.

Working the Givenchy Resort 2013 paisley-print trend kick-started back in March, the singer’s sweater was styled with a chiffon skirt-pants combo and black high-top sneakers.

This all feels a bit too heavy for summer – both the colours and the individual pieces.

I am hoping this menswear phase for Ciara comes to a shrieking halt soon.

Rita Ora for Material Girl Fall 2013 Ad Campaign

Rita Ora for Material Girl Fall 2013

Madonna and daughter Lola unveiled their Material Girl Fall 2013 ad campaign featuring Rita Ora.

For the back-to-school season, Rita takes to the streets of London, starring in her debut fashion campaign, ‘Material Girl Hits London.’

Clad in Material Girl apparel, footwear and accessories, Rita was photographed at iconic London locales such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the London Eye and atop a double decker bus.

The collection will be available exclusively at Macy’s and in the United States.

I don’t know about you, but I feel like this campaign should’ve gone to someone much younger.

I love the spirit and energy of the campaign, but not the casting.

Jessica Alba In Carolina Herrera – ‘The Honest Life’ Book Signing

Jessica Alba In Carolina Herrera - 'The Honest Life' Book Signing

Jessica Alba attended a signing of her book ‘The Honest Life’ at the Santa Monica CB2 store in California yesterday afternoon.

The actress worked some citrus hues, wearing an orange top with a Carolina Herrera Spring 2013 abstract-print A-line skirt which was presented on the runway as a ball skirt.

Her flirtatious short version was paired with sexy yellow Brian Atwood ‘Temptation’ sandals, a rose-gold watch and a black jacket with sheer sleeves.

I would’ve loved to have seen this look sans jacket – you know me – but this is a great look nonetheless.

Ryan Reynolds In Burberry – ‘Turbo’ New York Premiere

Ryan Reynolds In Burberry - ‘Turbo’ New York Premiere

Ryan Reynolds joined his wife Blake Lively on the red carpet for the screening of the animated flick ‘Turbo’, which he lends his vocals to, which had its New York premiere at AMC Loews Lincoln Square yesterday evening.

The actor also wore Burberry, opting for dark hues in total contrast to his wife’s summery look.

He wore an ink-blue suit styled with a forest-green shirt, striped tie and dark-brown shoes.

Despite not picking up the summery suit baton set down by Armie Hammer a few weeks ago, this sharp suit is still BDOTW worthy.

Jennifer Lopez for W Magazine August 2013

Jennifer Lopez W August 2013

With her hair in a darker hue than we are used to seeing, Jennifer Lopez donned a long-sleeved Gucci gown in a black net tulle with a heaven’s bird embroidered motif from the Fall 2013 collection for her W magazine August 2013 cover.

She talks to the mag about growing up in the Bronx, her relationship with her mother, and parenting.

Here are some extracts from her interview. You can read more over at or pick up the issue when it hits newstands July 16.

On being close to her childhood home in the Bronx for the interview: “The last time I was in there was when my mom and dad called us home to tell us they were separating after 33 years of marriage. I think that’s why I was nervous about coming here today. It’s like seeing someone from the past – you’re afraid to run into them because you never know if it’s going to be ‘wow’ or very difficult. This is a combination of both.”

On her and her mother’s relationship: “My mom and I butted heads. I didn’t want to go to college – I wanted to try dance full-time. I was homeless. But I told her ‘This is what I have to do.’”

On parenting her kids Max and Emme: “I think a lot about teaching my kids to work hard. I’ve learned something about kids – they don’t do what you say; they do what you do. I watched my parents.”
